Why You're Wrong About Rachel Zegler
This is a long post, but there's a lot of context missing from the Rachel Zegler "discourse" that I thought I could add with my history of watching this unfold from the beginning.
The Snow White Thing
You probably know this part. There's a curated video of Rachel going viral, framed to make her seem like she's never seen Snow White, she hates the story, she hates the character, she's ungrateful, and single-handedly ruined Disney's brand. The clips from these videos are not new— they were released nearly a year ago in September 2022 and nobody cared about them at the time. Why? Because all the full interviews she did that day at the Disney Exo in 2022 showed a young, charming woman who was excited and proud to be cast in an iconic role. The interviews were very well received and it was a non story. Now that it's been edited down and cut together in a malicious way, and the people sharing them are purposefully misquoting her, they've twisted the context. Normally, this would be a non controversy. Even if that video wasn't taken out of context and spliced together to make her seem like she hates the film, most people wouldn't care. The issue is the response to the video.
Let's get this out of the way: Rachel Zegler doesn't hate Snow White. She relayed that she was afraid of the forest scene as a child and didn't revisit it again until after she was cast in the role. She has since then watched it several times and has expressed for YEARS before that interview came out that she was incredibly honored and grateful to be playing such an iconic Disney princess. If you watch the full videos that those clips came from, this comes across immediately to anyone with their own mind. If you hate someone for being scared of something as a child, I don't know what to tell you. If the role was being given to the biggest Snow White fan, you would be correct that she doesn't deserve it. Unfortunately for you, this role requires talent and Rachel has the Golden Globe and critical acclaim from people who matter within the industry (her peers and critics).
You know who does hate their beloved characters in beloved franchises but the general public still applauds them? Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, and Robert Pattinson. They've all expressed outright contempt for the roles and the films they were part of, but nobody cared. People had fun with their quotes but they still respected them. Rachel said nothing even closely resembling their remarks, but she's being torn to shreds. Are we seeing a pattern here?
Rachel never said a single bad thing about the character or the animated film— she said that it was outdated and that set people over the edge, foaming at the mouth to have her burned at the stake. If you think it would be perfectly fine to have a movie about an abused 14 year old girl run away to play housemaid for a bunch of men, get kissed in her sleep/death by an adult man, and then wake up to fall into his arms in 2024, that's certainly a hot take. If you're against remakes, direct your ire at Disney. But if you truly think that plot would work with young girls today, you're the one who's out of touch. It would do far more harm than good to portray a young woman in that light.
She also never said that there was anything wrong with romance or love. She said that the new Snow White wasn't only dreaming of that. I can't stress enough that this wasn't her decision… she was describing the plot of the new film that was written by Greta Gerwig and approved by Disney. There's a prince in the film and he will also have a more developed personality and storyline. If you have a problem with the writing, wait until it comes out so you can write your strongly worded letter to Greta. If you have a problem with the concept in general, take it up with Disney. There's no need for you to be defensive over hurting the legacy of a multi-billion dollar company or a 87 year old cartoon written by a proud racist antisemite. This is the most confusing part of the hate campaign to me because it wasn't even her opinion— she was literally describing the plot of the film she had nothing to do with. It also isn't a new thing. Disney actors have been promoting their newer films this way for years.
It's perfectly okay to like things that are problematic. It's becoming an issue that we refuse to acknowledge that maybe some things we love are harmful. What we can't do is justify why it's not problematic, and in fact everyone who calls it out is the problem and NOT their precious cartoon. The 1937 Snow White was an amazing feat of animation. It's a classic for a reason. But it was also Hitler's favorite film and was directed by a white supremacist (the one who is "rolling in his grave" due to Rachel's existence, according to his son). Things don't exist in a vacuum and we can't ignore the bad parts.
How We Got Here:
The thing that everyone is missing is the source of this campaign. This started in September of 2020 when transphobic actor Gina Carano made fun of trans people by changing her pronouns to beep/bop.boop. Rachel indirectly called her out by coming to the defense of the trans community.
She never called out Gina by name (though she rightfully could have). Mind you, Rachel's first film hadn't come out yet. Nobody knew who she was outside of those of us who were anticipating West Side Story and were fans of her covers on YouTube. She was a "nobody" in the industry. Take this part with a grain of salt because I can't confirm it, but Gina and her fans directly blame Rachel for her being banned from Twitter. Again, I really don't think that matters as she's harmful to the trans community and shouldn't have a platform. What does matter is that fans of Gina (which, let's be real, are just fans of transphobia) have been stalking Rachel's every move since then. Unfortunately for them, there wasn't much they could use against her other than to call her woke and #snowbrown when she was cast a year later as the Disney princess. The noise has always been there, but unless you were a fan of hers, you probably didn't hear about it. It wasn't until two years after this that they had something else against her.
If you've recently seen a video of Rachel crying circulating that claims to be her reaction to the recent Snow White backlash, it's an old video. It's from a vlog from her youtube channel posted in June 2022. It was in response to these exact same transphobic anti-woke conservatives who thought that they had something when she did an interview on the red carpet of the Shazam premiere. When asked why she joined the DC universe, she responded "I needed a job." It was generally well received by most people who thought it was cute and funny, but those who were waiting in the shadows latched onto it as an excuse to send her death threats.
The video was also about a month after she was invited to present at the 2022 Oscars and was made to seem like she bullied the Academy (as a no name newcomer, mind you) into letting her attend. In reality, a fan left a comment on her Instagram asking what she was wearing to the event. She responded that she wasn't invited but would be rooting for everyone from her couch in her boyfriend's pajamas. It was the public who demanded she get an invite and the Oscar's must have agreed that it was very odd that the lead actress of a film that was nominated for Best Film wouldn't get an invite. Whether it was an oversight on their part or a scheduling issue with Rachel's filming, I truly think there was no malicious intent from either party. Keep in mind, she used to be very active with her fans (she's a huge fangirl of things herself and has always had a strong relationship with her fans) and she wasn't used to her comments becoming articles and national tv segments. This was the first time it happened to her. It appears she learned that she's not just a girl who posts on YouTube anymore and she's going to be put under a microscope for every move she makes. She has since shut down her Instagram comments and rarely interacts with fans outside of liking comments these days because of this.
I know this is long, but I need people to understand where this is all coming from. It didn't just happen out of nowhere. It's an orchestrated campaign built by violent conservatives, and thousands of women who saw Barbie this summer are hopping on the bandwagon to beat another woman into submission because they have a lot of internalized misogyny to deal with. She's not smug, you just hate women. It's okay to find people annoying, but it's valuable to look into why you think that. If you see a confident young woman expressing views that don't actually harm anyone and you think she needs to be "humbled" and "put in her place" by the entire internet dogpiling her, you've lost your mind. Using "body language experts" (fake job) to diagnose her as a psychopath is so vile. Everytime someone mentions her name online, the comments beneath it are full of the most violent, misogynistic, racist things I've ever seen. If you're contributing to that, you've chosen your side. Reevaluate or seek help.
I'm tired of seeing this happen to young women. We let this happen to Jennifer Lawrence, Brie Larson, Millie Bobby Brown, Halle Bailey, and Jenna Ortega. It's one thing to call out celebrities and hold them accountable when they're doing something actively harmful, but that's not what this is about. That's never been what this is about. We pick these girls to pieces and examine them and pull them apart to justify our hatred of young women who rise to success too quickly for our liking. We dogpile and try to stamp out the flame before they burn too bright. Barbie is still in theaters and you all loved it, yet you're demanding that a bright girl with a big future be small and submissive and humbled because you have issues. That's not feminism. You're just the girls who would have bullied Weird Barbie for using her hands too much when she talks.

✦ i.
the camera flashes blinded you as someone guided you towards a crowd of people with microphones. you almost trip over your floor length gown as you approach a shorter woman, no taller than 5'0. your security guard lingers behind you, ensuring no one tries to pull anything. you felt a bit overwhelmed. yes, you'd been exposed to this before, but it was still fairly new. the flashing lights, people screaming your name begging to get your attention, figures holding out posters and whatnot to sign, and of course, the red carpet interviews. they gave you a sense of comfort. you could focus on one person, talk to one person, and tune everyone else out for a short minute before you had to move on.
"hello dear, mind if i ask you a few questions?" focusing back into real life, you glanced at the woman holding a microphone to your face.
"no i don't mind. shoot." you replied, adjusting the strap on your dress.
"first of all, your role in this movie was small, but mighty. people online are loving it, they call you "panem it-girl." people have also been making edits, now my question is, have you seen any of these?" you chuckled at her question. you attempted to stay off social media as much as possible, but in this day, its very difficult. and the answer was yes. your own feed had been filled with lots of these edits. it was strange, seeing yourself on your screen, with others saying things like "panem it-girl" and "she deserved more screen time" and "iconic queen." the whole idea made you laugh, for your role in the movie had been fairly small, but your newfound fame had secured you a spot on the press tour.
"yes i have seen them. it's pretty weird, seeing myself, but i am just glad people love the character. to make a long story endless, i've always been a fan of the books so when this prequel came out i bought it as soon as possible. i loved clemmie the second i read about her, so it was really cool to be able to bring her to life, and i'm so happy people liked the way i played her." you replied. you tried to keep it simple, but sometimes you felt like there was too much to say and not enough time to say it, which led to extra long answers to really short questions.
you heard her shout a thank you as you were whisked to the next interviewer.
"hi, so nice to see you, who are you wearing?" the man asked. you glanced down at your dress that had taken you ten whole minutes to get into. the whole process of getting ready took three hours, not to mention the photoshoot your publicist encouraged. getting your hair just right took an hour alone.
"today i'm wearing versace. i was really inspired by blake lively's dress from the met gala and i thankfully have a great stylist who was able to find the perfect dress for me." you had always loved red carpet looks, and began to design your own in a fashion sketchbook when you were twelve years old. one of your favorite perks of being well-known was the ability to wear the dresses you had always loved.
the security guard whispered in your ear that it was time to go pose. you thanked the man interviewing you and walked away. as you approached the middle of the red carpet a few people caught your eye. rachel zegler was standing in front of the cameras, flashes of light every second without fail. you seemed to have caught her eye, she turned to you and waved. you returned the gesture and made your way to the place you were supposed to pose. the cameras began to flash as soon as you stepped in front of them. you positioned yourself into your signature pose, which showed off the best parts about you. rachel walked over and gave you a hug.
"you look great" she attempted to compliment you, but it was hard to hear her over the people shouting.
"you look better than i ever will." you returned the compliment and saw a disappointed look on her face.
"girl you know so well that's not true" she laughed before returning to her initial position, maybe a few feet closer to you now. you returned back to posing, the flashes still going off, your name being mixed with rachels, being called from ten different directions. you began to walk off when you heard cheering from your left. you turned to see who had arrived.
wearing a white blazer, a white, barely buttoned top, and black slacks was tom blyth. he had just stepped out of the vehicle dropping him off. you heard an overwhelming scream of voices. you had met tom on the set of the new movie, but had learned that you had both went to juilliard, and he graduated the year after you enrolled. there was a one year period where you too had been at the same school, yet never met each other. when the two of you first met, there was an immediate friendship. you guys drove to set together, practiced lines together, and hung out as many time as you could, squeezing in your busy schedule. but there had always been something more there for you. to you, he was the most charming, alluring, funny, kind person you'd met. it had always been one sided. you'd learned to suppress it, and accept that maybe he wasn't as interested in you as you were in him. while you were thinking, he had finished his interviews and was coming over to the two of you. you waved over to him and he flashed a smile at you. you approached him as he gave you a hug. you embraced it as much as you could.
"hey! how are you?" he asked. you glanced up at him. your height difference was perfect in your mind.
"i'm doing great, how are you?"
"fantastic." he replied. he looked around you, finally making eye contact with rachel. you watched as his face lit up, and your heart sunk a little lower. there was nothing going on between them, at least, that's what you'd known. but seeing him excited to see her gave you a sense of jealousy. you knew it was selfish, obviously he made the entire movie with her, why shouldn't he be more excited? but you couldn't control it. he patted you on the shoulder and watched as he gave rachel a hug. a much more meaningful hug, that's what it looked like, at least. he wrapped his arm around her waist and posed with her. you asked your security guard to take you away from the photo area, off the red carpet altogether, but he told you to wait because they wanted an all cast photo. you decided to go back and do more interviews. you approached another woman.
"hello." you greeted her.
"hi! im with letterboxed, would you care to give me your top four movies of all time?" you loved this question. you watched every video they posted of celebrities top movies. you'd never been asked before, and you had planned this out weeks in advance. it distracted you a little from your heart.
"i LOVE this question, i've been planning for weeks."
...
once the movie was over, you exited the theater and made your way to the afterparty. you changed into a much easier outfit. one you could dance in. you were going to need it anyways. the dress had a corset-esqe top, with a very short skirt. like sabrina carpenter. you put on some high boots and fiddled with your hair a little.
you entered the afterparty fashionably late. most people were already there. you recognized a few of your castmates from "the academy." you went over to them and got yourself a drink from the bar.
"you look amazing, drop the makeup routine right now." you heard one say. lilly cooper, the actress for arachne crane. you laughed at her, but promised you would. you talked to a few more people, the actress for livia cardew, actor for festus creed, and more. before you knew it, 45 minutes had passed. you ventured away from them, and into the more central area.
"girl get over here!" you heard. you pivoted on your heel and spotted rachel, tom, and josh. you happily walked over and gave josh a hug, you hadn't seen him all night. "this outfit is out of this world." rachel complimented. you did a little twirl to show off every bit of it. when you returned to your initial place, you saw tom laughing. a smile broke out on your face.
"im ready to dance guys, when's that happening?" you asked them. rachel grabbed your hand, along with tom's. josh followed you guys as you headed for the dance floor. they were now playing "breaking dishes" by rhianna, one of your all time favorite clubbing songs. you had always been proud of your dancing skills, and now was the chance to show off. on your way to the dance floor, you picked up another drink, and downed it as fast as possible. finally on the floor, you and rachel began to dance together. she spun you around and you did the same to her. soon, josh swept you away and you danced with him, making sure to one up every move he made. you felt yourself getting tipsy, but that didn't matter, what did was that you were having fun.
mid turn with josh, you felt yourself get pulled away again, a new hand holding onto yours. you looked up to see tom, who had ditched his jacket, and your pretty sure had unbuttoned another button or two, pulling you to dance with him. you agreed happily and began to dance with him. you had never noticed how good a dancer he was. every time you tried to one up him, he would pull out some move you hadn't seen before.
"i saw you trying to one up josh" he shouted over the music. "isn't going to happen sweetheart." he called you that as a joke, but you felt yourself getting red. your stomach dropped.
"wait here, i'm going to get another drink." you yelled, attempting to be louder than the already blaring music. he grabbed your arm and pulled you back.
"hey how many is that now?" he asked, referring to the amount you had drunken that night.
"oh please." you shook him off and went to get another drink. you downed it and returned back to him. you felt the drinks going straight to your head. he spun you and you felt very dizzy. too many drinks. you had always been a bit of a lightweight. three or four drinks was way to many. you continued to dance with him. he spun you again, this time returning you to him. he spun you back and he pulled you into his chest and you knocked into him. rachel came up behind you and you almost tripped on her feet.
"woah, you've had too much to drink." she immediately noticed. you tried to defend yourself, but found yourself slurring your words together. "yeah, you're done." she walked you over to a couch and sat you down. you laid down and your vision began to blur as you passed out.
...
you woke up the next morning on a sofa. but this sofa was not the same sofa from last night. this was your sofa, in the hotel you were staying at for the premier. somehow, you had gotten home. no idea how, no idea when, but you had gotten home. you immediately noticed your discomfort, you glanced down, seeing yourself in your outfit from last night.
after a shower and skincare, you still tried to ponder who had gotten you home last night. whoever it was knew your room, found your room key, and took care not to wake you as you were transported home.
you pushed the thought down, thankful for whoever did it, but stopped wasting time on it. you packed up your suitcase and made your way back home.

The Hunger Games Return: A Deep Dive into “The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes”
Hey there, movie enthusiasts! Settle in because on November 17, 2023, “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” graced the screens, treating fans to a captivating journey into the dark and enthralling world of Panem. Under the skillful direction of Francis Lawrence and based on Suzanne Collins’ prequel novel, the film promised to unveil the mysteries of the Hunger Games’ origins, unfolding a tale set 64 years before Katniss Everdeen’s iconic arrival to the arena.
A Glimpse into Panem’s Past: Coriolanus Snow’s Tale Unfolds
Now, let’s dive into Panem’s past with the main man himself, young Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth. He’s navigating the tricky terrain of the 10th Annual Hunger Games, once a part of the fallen Snow family. Now, he’s unexpectedly thrown into the role of mentor for Lucy Gray Baird, played by Rachel Zegler, a tribute from the struggling District 12. The film explores Snow’s moral struggles, tangled relationships, and his surprising journey from privilege to the edge of power.
Star-Studded Ensemble: A Stellar Cast Graces the Screen
And can we talk about the cast? A bunch of stars that had us counting down the days! Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage, and Jason Schwartzman brought their A-game. Davis rocked as Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the mastermind Gamemaker with a seriously sinister imagination. Dinklage was the brains behind the Hunger Games as Casca Highbottom, and Schwartzman added humor and charisma as Lucretius “Lucky” Flickerman, a distant relative of the original trilogy’s charming host.
Beyond Survival: Privilege, Exploitation, and Power Unveiled
Now, “The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” wasn’t your typical survival thriller. It went beyond the previous Hunger Games entries, digging into deeper topics — privilege, exploitation, and power. All of this unfolds in a condemned amphitheater where the lives of tributes hang in the balance. Coriolanus’ moral tug-of-war and his intricate bond with Lucy Gray Baird promised a storyline packed with unexpected twists, giving us a fresh take on Capitol society.
With a mix of new faces and familiar elements from the Hunger Games universe, the film hit the sweet spot. This movie works as a great expansion of the world created by Suzanne Collins. As we got lost in the roots of Panem’s most infamous tradition, “The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” is set to make a lasting mark on the Hunger Games legacy. It was a thrilling and thought-provoking joyride, inviting us to revisit the dystopian universe that first captured our hearts and witness the rise of a young Coriolanus Snow. Fingers crossed the odds stay forever in our favor!

gayforddlovato's masterlist #1
To make things easier on what genres each chapter is, I have decided to try and label them. Most of my work are things that my readers requested me to create on my wattpad. Anything requested will say so in the top of the chapter, anything not requested will, obviously, not have been requested and are things I created on my own.
🧡 means from my wattpad
💐 means published exclusively here on tumblr
🐈 means fluff
🌻 means angst
❤️🩹 means possibly triggering content
🙈 means humor
🤍 means comfort
- I don't write smut but anything containing steamy content will be marked as 😻
I’m trying my hardest to get everything sorted so you can find it easier but please be patient as I don’t have a lot of free time to organize it all. Eventually, I’ll have links to master lists for everyone listed here! It’s just going to take me a little time 😊💕
I'll try to keep this as organized and as updated as possible. More groups, soloists, and artists will be added soon. Love, Kaylee 💗

it was one event to the next. after the premiere, you had a few off days, but not before you had to slip into another gown and attend the academy gala at the academy museum in los angeles. todays gown was white, with a cascading, flowy skirt below the waistline. at the very bottom of the dress, tiny white bows. on top, a bow that also doubled as the off-the-shoulder sleeves. you'd never seen anything like it before. you wore your hair your favorite way, knowing there would be lots of paparazzi there. you had to walk around for what felt like an hour in your heels to get used to them. you were walking in the opyum heels from ysl, and the logo as the heel made it pretty difficult to walk.
you had managed to hitch a ride with rachel, and according to her text, she was about to be outside your house. you grabbed your clutch and filled it up with all the necessities. lip gloss, a sample size of the perfume you're wearing, and of course, your phone and wallet. you got the text that she was there, and you rushed out the door. you hopped in the backseat with her. her dress was stunning. a gold corset-esque top, with a velvet body. her hair was done in curls and had lots of volume. with smoky eyeliner and a nude lip, she looked gorgeous. she hugged you to the best of her ability while already seated.
"this gown is extraordinary." she touched the tulle part of your skirt.
"you look like you fell from the heavens girl" you replied. "do you know who else is going to be there tonight?"
"well, i heard that like, hailey bieber is going to be there, selena gomez, i think some of the kardashians, oh! i think meryl streep is going to be there. oh and tom is going to be there of course." this came as no shock to you, he had texted in the groupchat you guys had created during filming. it was called "behind the scenes (what the cameras really SHOULD be recording)" you had come up with it, of course. it was a little less active after the premiers had finished, but people still communicated occasionally. for some reason, hunter and josh would not be in attendance, just you, rachel, and tom.
"if i see meryl streep i might pass out." you commented.
"you and me both girl."
...
after multiple photos on the red carpet, you were heading into the building. making your way there, you found rachel again. you took her hand and walked in together. when you got inside, you maneuvered your way through the circular tables till your found your name on a card. you slung the long chain of your clutch over the chair and sat down, adjusting your dress. you had gotten constant compliments throughout the night. when you finally settled in, you noticed that rachel wasn't sitting next to you, but rather slightly across from you. there was an empty seat in the middle of you. when you checked the name card, you felt like a giddy little girl again. "tom blyth" was written on it. you looked down at your lap, trying to conceal the grin attempting to break loose. for some reason, you felt transported back to seventh grade, with your first crush. you couldn't wait.
when you finally saw tom making his way to the table, you stood up on instinct. rachel glanced over at you and did the same soon after. he came up to the both of you and gave you hugs. when he sat down in-between you, you felt like the air had been pulled out of you. you had no idea what to say to him. your last interaction had ended abruptly. you had no conversation to pick up from last time. you thought of an idea, and quick.
"how was the rest of the afterparty? clearly i missed it." he whipped his head around, unaware you were beginning a conversation. when he did, he made eye contact with you.
"the afterparty? oh it was lots of fun. but i have to say, people were dropping like flies. you may have been the first one to, y'know, pass out, but other people followed soon after. I honestly don't know what they are putting in those drinks." you chuckled at his joke. "but yeah, it was fun. you missed karaoke, i know you love it." you really did. maybe your singing skills weren't the best, but it was always fun to hang out with friends and sing you heart out. you had gone to karaoke with tom once, but you couldn't remember most of that night.
"ugh. that's so much fun. oh, did i tell you that i passed out and when i woke up, I was in my hotel? I honestly can't tell if i woke up and uber-ed home and just don't remember, or if i fully blacked out and i got home somehow, like with someone." odd choice. you felt embarrassed. your mouth seemed to keep running, like word vomit. "sorry, that was weird to say."
you saw tom smile into his lap. you weren't sure if that was good or bad. "i think you would have remembered, at least slightly, if you had gotten home yourself." he said, quieter than before.
"that's true. i guess it doesn't matter. whoever got me home was a real one, then." you said. his smile faltered for a brief moment. you looked around for a moment, begging to continue the conversation, but failing to think of anything more to talk about. luckily, he came to the rescue.
"so, any new projects?" he asked you. the truth was, your agents had been sending you opportunities for a while, but you hadn't heard anything back from casting agents. however, you were scheduled for a final round of callbacks in a few days. it was a greta gerwig film. you would KILL to be in a greta gerwig film. little women, barbie, they were your favorites. you'd never worked this hard for a role in your life.
"well, i'm currently in callbacks for a greta gerwig movie. do you know what i would give to be in a greta gerwig film? and the answer to that question is my left kidney and more." when you looked up, tom was looking at you. for once, a man looked like he was truly interested in what you had to say.
"i love greta gerwig. her movies are great. and that's really cool. i've had a few auditions and a few callbacks, so i'll hopefully book something soon." you smiled at him. when you smiled, he smiled back, and time stopped. that's what it felt like, at least. you looked at his alluring, yet kind of horrifying blue eyes. then you took in his whole structure. you swore you'd never seen anything like it. after a beat, a waiter placed food down on both your plates, along with rachels, and the others at your table. you adjusted to sit fully upright and forward, and heard tom clear his throat slightly. the meal presented in front of you was steak with mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables, and chimichurri sauce. everyone at the table seemed to have got the same meal. you heard rachel and tom laugh. glancing over, you noticed you had zoned out. for enough time, at least, for them to start recording a video.
you decided to pick at your food. it was no use. the only thing on your mind was that look tom had gave you mere minutes earlier. you felt like it meant something. he had never looked at you that way, the way you had wanted for so long. while nothing was said, you couldn't help but feel like something had been said, just not directly. you came to the conclusion that maybe he wasn't totally uninterested in you.
you tried to think of anything, any event that was coming up that you could invite him to. your next event was the golden globes, and that wasn't for a long time. until then it was mainly press. then you remembered. rachel was hosting a get-together in a few days. her and josh. he would definitely be there. until then, you would have to imagine what your next interaction would be. hope that it would be more straightforward than tonight.
"hey, tom? are you going to rachels thing in a few days?" you nodded to rachel. he looked over at her and she looked over at you.
"oh my gosh yeah i forgot. you never got back to me." rachel said. you both looked at tom, awaiting a response.
"i wouldn't miss it." he responded. now you had nothing to worry about. except of course, for the nervousness you got in your stomach. it was abnormal, usually you felt very confident, and never got like this around people. but something was different. you felt giddy. and you loved it. you couldn't wait to spend more time with him.
