Tumblr media
BY SARA SPRUCH-FEINER • APR 27, 2024
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In a world that ticks to the rhythm of social media trends and viral moments, Hana, the luminary of BLACKPINK, has transcended the digital buzz to become the embodiment of enduring luxury. Rolex, the Swiss maestro of horology, has found its newest muse in Hana, marking a historic partnership as she becomes the brand’s first Asian ambassador.
Just a year after gracing the global campaigns of Harry Winston and MIKIMOTO, Hana’s ascent into the pantheon of luxury ambassadors continues unabated. Her latest accolade? The face of Rolex, a brand synonymous with precision, prestige, and perfection.
The announcement reverberated through the corridors of haute horlogerie and K-pop fandoms alike, heralding a new era where the East meets the West on the wrist of a global superstar. Hana’s influence, which spans continents and cultures, is a testament to her universal appeal and the power of K-pop’s global reach.
Rolex, a brand that has adorned the wrists of explorers, visionaries, and leaders, now welcomes a new kind of pioneer. Hana represents the modern icon—dynamic, diverse, and digitally savvy. Her partnership with Rolex is not just a fusion of aesthetics but a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
As Hana steps into this prestigious role, she carries with her the spirit of a generation that values authenticity and aspiration. With Rolex, she will not just tell time; she will tell a story—a narrative of excellence, elegance, and empowerment.
For Hana, and for Rolex, the future is not just bright; it is brilliant. As the hands of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual move in precision, so does Hana’s journey, marking every second with the promise of legacy and the power of now.

“Australian ex-racing driver Mark Webber, boasting nine victories in his career, arrived in São Paulo for the Brazilian Grand Prix and shared thoughts on his admiration for Ayrton Senna, retirement, and his fondness for Brazilian barbecue.”
Tumblr media
“As the Rolex ambassador, he arrived in São Paulo in November for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Despite not boasting world titles, he, a fan of the band INXS ("the songs are timeless"), played tough against prominent figures in the sport. Nowadays, he cruises around in a Porsche and manages fellow countryman Oscar Piastri's career at McLaren.”
Tumblr media
“With stints at Red Bull, Minardi, Jaguar, and Williams, and nine victories under his belt — including two on Brazilian soil — Webber discussed Ayrton Senna (whose grave he visited on this recent trip), the accident at the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans, likely to become a documentary, where his car somersaulted in a cinematic manner, and life after retiring from the sport ("I used to be a sharp weapon, now I'm a gentleman").”

what's been happening in motorsport lately?
(long overdue update from me so it's very long and therefore hidden under the cut)
F1 teams and drivers:
Williams (union jack) and Red Bull (red pattern) brought special liveries to Silverstone
Andy Cowell (previously Merc PU chief) joins Aston Martin as new CEO
Mick Schumacher will do a Pirelli tyre test for McLaren because no other reserve driver of thier has the criteria to drive the car and their F1 drivers are coming off a triple header (so their activated the option to use Merc juniors/reserves)
Matt Whyman is Publishing „Inside Mercedes F1: Life in te Fast Lane“ book
Mercedes will bring more upgrades to both Spa and Hungary
Checo will get the new Red Bull floor Max has been running in the next race as well although Helmut Marko said that upgrade was only worth 6 points of downforce
i am so sure that i wrote this down about a month ago but since everyone has been talking about it: Enrico Cardile left Ferrari and will serve gardening leave for the rest of the season before joining Aston Martin, so Fred will oversee the area himself before Loic Serra comes (and potentially Newey as according to rumour that’s main reason behind Enrico leaving)
Ferrari is also set to have a board meeting to discuss the current form
Ollie and Pietro Fittipaldi completed Pirelli tyre testing for Haas
Michael Broadhurst became Alpine’s chief aerodynamicist (previously in Red Bull and McLaren) and Vin Dhanani became their head of vehicle performance (previously in Red Bull) and finally Jacopo Fantoni is their new deputy chief engineer (in Ferrari last year)
Visa Cash App RB partnered with Warner Bros to promote Twisters in Silverstone
oh and after complaining about the tickets the N*rstappen ruffle in Austria helped them sell out the Silverstone weekend
Charles is Peroni’s world brand ambassador and an ad and the first part of short video series to promote the drink was posted
Adidas will be Merc’s official clothing partner
Lewis was reading CBeebies Bedtime Story on BBC on 3rd July called „Small’s Big Dream“ by Manjeet Mann
Charles expanded the export of his LEC ice cream so now you can get it in Italy (can confirm that one, had Chocolate Crunch from Unes and it was delicious), France and Monaco
Pierre extended with Alpine and Lance extended with Aston Martin for next year (and beyond)
oh lol i almost forgot Ollie Bearman is officially Haas 2025 F1 driver!!!
Williams announced 26 new employees joining this year with some big names from RBR, Merc, Ferrari and others (like Matt Harman joining after summer break)
Logan started his own app (i didn’t research more on it so far but apparently there are a few articles about him so far)
Ferrari asked for an explanation from FIA after RBR’s mid season RB18 test that led to performance upgrades which shouldn’t be allowed with tests
McLaren sent out thank you packages to other teams as they helped them out after their hospitality caught fire
Alex made (and almost sold out already) Albon Pets merch
Toto Wolff confirmed they included police to research the email that was sent to journalists and F1 figures concerning the sabotage of Lewis in the team
Mercedes will have a charity football match against Aston Martin today
and Levi’s partnered with McLaren to make special edition of merch
after Almave Ambar, Almave Blanco will be distributed in the UK as well
Andretti Cadillac hired Chris Green as IT director and Laura Sturland as finance director (both previously in Merc)
Future of F1:
6 sprint weekends in 2025 will be: China, Miami, Spa, Cota, Brazil and Qatar (there is one or maybe two locations that make sense otherwise it kills the weekend imo but ok)
Rolex ends their sponsorship of F1 after 10 years (11 if you count this one), instead LVMH will step up into their position starting in 2025 (it is also very much possible Tag Heuer will be their title sponsor since it falls under LVMH umbrella and occupies similar position in business as Rolex, side note: Rag Heuer is the current sponsor of Red Bull) – rumouredly this is about money like everything in F1, the new contract is supposed to be $ 150m, so about three times as much as Rolex gave them
besides this, F1 is also finalising deal with American Express as a global partner
Zandvoort is contemplating making gravel traps to avoid track limits like they did in Austria
Rumours of the paddock:
Zak Brown has been asking for a possibility of engine supply from RBPT instead of Mercedes due to fear of reliability if they start supplying Alpine as well (considering they will drop Aston who gets Honda’s engine and knowing how much he publicly criticizes Red Bull and the culture in the team i kinda doubt it)
Alpine is also exploring RBPT and Ferari as potential engine suppliers instead of Renault
Jos Verstappen still very much wants to get his son out of the Red Bull team and Mercedes could be the next destination, Jos said in Austria that Christian Horner is the one responsible for not allowing him to drive during legends parade during the weekend and they had a lil argument speaking to media, there is still the rumour about Merc engines in 2026 being strong and that being a good argument for Max
this is technically not a rumour but also not confirmed either but Fred Vasseur strongly indicated in an interview that Lewis‘ contract will be for three years (he said they want to be champions in 2025, 2026, 2027 or something along those lines basically)
Haas is about to announce the extending of engine supply from Ferrari (with stronger links as Ollie becomes their official driver while being a part of FDA), they might get some kind of parts from Toyota as well (along with their knowhow) with potential title sponsorship deal
also Gene Haas apparently wants to expand their facilities in the UK
racingnews365 believe that Esteban is going to announce his deal with Haas before summer break
i want to prelude this by saying that driver contracts are highly confidential and nobody knows what exactly is in them, because they simply do not talk about the legal stuff so it wouldn’t get out BUT there has been a lot of speculation about Checo and his contract including clauses of performance compared to Max, some of which he is currently not complying so there is a rumour if he doesn’t improve over the next two races, they can terminate his contract and replace him mid-season (with candidates being Daniel Ricciardo – Horner’s favourite + good for their marketing where Checo is strong, Liam Lawson – Marko’s favourite + has a close to look among other teams if he doesn’t get a RBR backed seat for 2025, and apparently also Yuki)
also Liam is doing a filming day (200 kms test) with RB20 in Silverstone today which is a similar move they did with Daniel Ricciardo last year before he replaced Nyck
and Joe Saward thinks he will replace Daniel in July
also some people freaked out about Mick doing a Pirelli test for McLaren and honestly he has bigger change in Alpine where he did kind of a shootout with Jack Doohan (we have no info about how it went besides Toto saying he was strong)
after Williams were ready to announce a contract with Carlos in Spain with Netflix ready to shoot the footage of it and after he pulled out of it with new offer from Alpine (or rather Flavio Briatore), they now focused on getting Valtteri Bottas as a stable driver to partner Alex
that leaves Carlos waiting if Max really leaves RBR (but Marko made it clear they don’t want him anyway), potentially Merc (Toto said they are not interested in him but after Kimi’s  results in F2 so far, he said maybe the door is not fully closed for him yet), Audi (where Liam Lawson was seen in Austria, but even after Carlos missed a deadline from them, they might be interested) or Alpine (and if he says no, they still have Jack and Mick lined up and ready)
meanwhile Guanyu has been exploring the option to get a seat in FE if he cannot find one in F1 (with Alpine, Haas and Sauber as possible options) or even being a reserve for an F1 team for 2025
Ted Kravitz mentioned paddock gossip of Estaban leaving earlier than planned to replace Logan mid season in Williams and make space for Jack Doohan in Alpine (the only thing supporting this right now is interview with James Vowles talking about this and mentioning potential changes event his season)
Will Buxton on the other hand mentioned Daniel Ricciardo is talking to Williams
and finally Blick reported that Drugovich might be on Williams‘ list after Carlos
as for Logan he is reportedly in talks with Prema to get their Indycar seat
Lewis Hamilton is rumoured to buy Gresini Racing motogp team
apparently Lewis also called Seb to ask about what Adami is like as a race engineer and Seb gave him positive feedback
Jeremy Clarkson said he can calm people down and say that Newey is not looking for houses in Italy but rather UK
the superlicence request in Miami was potentially meant for Arvid Linblad (if you don’t know who he is, he is rbr junior currently crushing it in F3)
Briatore wants to bring Binotto into Alpine (lol)
Other series and juniors:
Franco Colapinto, Ollie Bearman, Jack Doohan and Isack Hadjar got their FP1 junior drive in Silverstone
Roman Staněk will end in Trident after Monza, he terminated the contract due to the team not performing like expected and is currently looking for a possibility of another seat in F2 (when it’s on dry, the car lacks too much to others and only on wet like in Silverstone’s sprint, the differences are diminished and the driver can show what’s in them like he did going from p22 to p8)
British F4 race in Zandvoort will have SO many F1 Academy drivers: Abbi Pulling, Bianca Bustamante, Carrie Schreiner, Jessica Edgar (and of course Chloe Chong which is driving full season in British F4)
so Arrow McLaren cannot behave for a week, to sum it up: David Malukas (who got a full time seat after Alex Palou was sued for not driving for them) got injured, they got Callum Illot drove instead of him for some time, since David wasn’t healing, they fired him and hired Theo Pourchaire for the rest of the season, INSTEAD they fired him as well after he posted about how he can’t wait for another race, and now hired Nolan Siegel (and on top Rossi will leave the team and will get replaces by Lundgaard  in 2025)
freaking Nikita Mazepin was testing GT3 in Hungary after the EU sanctions were lifted (side note idk if i stated before but Haas has to pay off Ural Kali)
Other news:
Goodwood festival of speed is coming up with interesting names (like Frederik Vesti, whole of Williams team, RB team including Horner etc)
the F1 movie everyone has been in frenzy about will be called… F1 (i think there is some teaser too if you are interested, also Fernando did an interview after Silverstone which will be used for the movie as well as some other real life stuff, like Pierre’s onboards modified) OHHH also Hans Zimmer should compose music for it like he did for Hunt vs Lauda (however it is called in English)
there was a rumour that Danica Patrick is leaving Sky Sports but that fake (or rather AI generated)
the Silverstone trophy was made by ex-F1 mechanic Alastair Gibson from car parts (there are two trophies always but the Iconic golden one is returned)
i am putting this in other category because it’s simply too unhinged but there was an open letter from some fans that Leo Leclerc is not loved and cared for enough (be so serious he has better life than i do)

I can't stop thinking about Max and his maps. This drabble is completely self-indulgent and a love letter to Håkan's secretary, the baddest bitch.
Max is in the middle of writing an email when his assistant calls. Max doesn't like how the light from the window reflects on his computer screen and thinks about moving his table again. His office is way too big for him to have problems like this. The tall leafy plant in the corner seems to be thriving, even though he has never watered it. His assistant probably deserves a raise.
“You have the Australian Ambassador on line two, sir.”
He subconsciously sighs and rubs his right ear, a habit he has never gotten rid of. “Thank you, Kristy. I have a package to send as well; please come pick it up.” He changes the line.
“Your excellency?” he sneers, picking up the pain au chocolate Kristy left for him on the table this morning.
“Why don't I have a direct line to your office?”
Daniel's voice is distorted through the phone. Max can hear cars honking in the background. Kristy opens the door to his office, picking up the green Ladurée bag from the corner of his table. She eyes the post-it note he stuck on the top, Daniel scribbled in his neat handwriting. She doesn't react, just picks it up and closes the door quietly. Definitely deserves a raise.
“Only the king has one.”
Daniel snorts, like Max is being funny just by being rude. “Pick up your phone next time, okay? Even though I quite like making small talk with your assistant.”
Max doesn't react. He can feel a headache growing behind his eyes. Out of the corner of his eye, he can see how the number of his emails in the red circle grows on the computer screen.
“What's this I hear about you having lunch with the Hungarians on Thursday?”
Daniel gets right to the point and Max hums. He doesn't question how Daniel found out about that. On a bad day, he still manages to charm his way to confidential information regarding state security.
“Take me with youu,” Dan sing-songs.
“Nee,” he replies. Daniel is well acquainted with the word. Either way, Max opens his diary and flips the pages quietly until he reaches Thursday. He opens the drawer with his stationery and pulls out the small honey badger-shaped sticker. Sticks it to the slot right next to the 'La Rotonde with HU'. It was Daniel who bought him the stickers after noisily going through his diary. He did not like the way +D looked in the time slots. It just looks like you have a dick appointment.
The negotiations begin with Daniel clicking his tongue. He mainly does it because he knows it drives Max insane.
“Come on, baby. I'll take you to Monaco if you do.”
Max takes another bite of the pastry, reclining in his chair. “Snorting coke on a yacht was cute back when I was twenty.”
Daniel doesn't back off, unaffected. “What are you eating?”
“Pain au choc.”
“From Mozart?”
Max looks at the tissue covered by the crumbs, Mozart engraved on it in golden fond. “Yeah, I guess.”
Daniel makes a silly gasping noise. “How could you?”
Paris has more bakeries than residents, yet Daniel is weirdly obsessed with the one on the same street as the Dutch embassy.
Before he can respond, there is a knock on his door. One of the interns come in without waiting for him to invite them in. “Your excellency-” she starts and he holds up his pointer finger to interrupt her, pointing to the phone in his other hand. He subtly looks at his Rolex while doing so, wondering what she could possibly want at 9 am. She nods but doesn't exit the room.
“I have to hang up now, schatje.”
“No, no- listen. We can even hold hands at the dinner, watch them have an aneurysm about it.”
Max chuckles, shaking his head even though Daniel can't see. “Yeah, not good enough. I spent weeks persuading them to meet me.” As I know you did too. Did not really work, huh? he wants to add but doesn't want to look like an asshole in front of the intern who is still watching him with her big green eyes. His and Daniel's diplomatic styles are so different he learned a long time ago it's futile to compare them.
“I'm having dinner with Amanda in two weeks.”
The number of unread emails reaches two hundred on Max's computer. “Getting warmer but no can do. You know how annoying I find the ENA graduates.”
Dan himself has done his post-grad at ENA. He hears Daniel swear and he doesn't know if the reason is him or just the general despair of trying to walk down the street in Paris. “'kay, have a nice-”
“Wait! Drinks with Håkan!” Max is silent for a second, that's how Daniel knows he lucked out. Sweden is hot shit right now.
“Make him bring the assistant, not his wife.”
Everyone knows that the only opinion that matters to the Swedish ambassador is the one of his secretary. Daniel doesn't answer immediately, but Max knows him well enough to know he's smiling.
“That goes without saying, Maxy.”
Max, despite his best efforts, smiles. “Lovely. See you tonight.”
“Rinaldi's at nine! Don't be late!” Daniel says before hanging up, even though it's usually him who is late for their little rendez-vous.
He straightens up, raising his chin the intern's way. She has been watching him like a hawk this whole time. “Husband checking in on you?”
She looks scared of him and not for the first time, he wonders what kind of stories about him are told to the newcomers. He doesn't have the heart to berate her for breaking the protocol.
“Yes. He doesn't want me to forget about him. Of course, I do not want him to worry.” he says. His mother tongue tastes sweet in his mouth.
Second part!

I somehow fell down a luxury watch rabbithole on Youtube despite the fact that I haven't worn a wrist watch in like a decade and all I know about luxury watch brands is:
Daytona (subspecies of Rolex, apparently) is also a place, there's a NARBC reptile expo there
Chopard is a thing that exists, and only because Zhu Yilong is one of their brand ambassadors
According to the cast of comedy radio drama Cabin Pressure the name Patek Philippe sounds evil

Carlos needs to leave LV and get with a Spanish brand like Loewe or Balenciaga. It feels like lv really don’t care about him that much compared to how much Gucci care about jannik. They have the most popular player in men’s tennis as their ambassador and they dont gaf. They didn’t even post about his rg win. Can you believe it? Jannik could win a freaking challenger and Gucci will post about it😭 Plus the dinner that Gucci hosted for Jannik with Ryan Gosling and Salma Hayek.
I think Gucci is very invested in Jannik also because its an Italian brand and hence why Carlos should go to a Spanish brand (I know loewe is under lv’s parent company. But they are pretty independent as far as operations and creative direction is concerned).
Idk sometimes it just feels like it’s Carlos and his checkered nike polo shirt against the world.
ooo ok yes i was actually talking to my irl bestie about this the other day bc she's much more into luxury brands than i am and she mentioned how carlos should go to loewe too ! that being said i literally just rbed a post saying that he should wear a pink LV bag lol but i'd be happy if it was any nice pink bag. tbf i know very little about these fashion brands so yea i don't have super strong opinions on them, but it would be nice to see something other than LV for the reasons you mentioned.
i didn't know that LV didn't post about his RG win but yea that sucks 😭 iirc i think he did like a small photoshoot after winning RG in a suit but i don't think that was for LV specifically. it might have been for rolex but i'm not completely sure.
but yea i definitely agree with you that compared to jannik and gucci, LV seem to underutilize carlos. i also think you're right about how it might be bc of the italian company and italian player thing. i'm not exactly sure how either brand goes about their sponsorships/partner deals, but maybe it could be that LV doesn't really go that hard on using their atheletes or other partners in general 🤷 maybe it could also be a difference in how much carlos and jannik really want to participate in these kinds of things. to me it seems like carlos doesn't really care much about fashion compared to jannik (although i don't think either cares that much, but jannik definitely seems more willing to play into that stuff !). also maybe a difference in whether they have stylists too or just hand them clothes and say do what you want with them LOL.
lately it seems like they have been ramping up the gucci and LV endorsements though, and i think i should give some props to LV for the most recent fits bc they're much better than what we got before (i'm well aware the bar is on the floor LMAO). i'm not super picky but i definitely think it would be interesting if carlos went to a brand that really poured more resources into him and took advantage of having a deal with him, and it would be nice if it was a spanish brand for that reason too.
it really do be carlos and his checkered nike polo against the world 😔 BUT i think he should fix that and HIRE A STYLIST PLEASE like i know you have enough money for it carlos !!! hire a stylist for us please so we can see you in nice (NOT JUST DECENT) outfits !!! tbh i think a stylist would be extremely helpful for him and his brand but again idk much about fashion and these things so yea

The Tindalls show Harry and Meghan how its done by u/Mickleborough
The Tindalls show Harry and Meghan how it’s done This article in the Daily Mail talks about the self-supporting, successful Tindalls, and the secrets of their success: archived / unarchivedThe formula’s basically very simple:- Be open and have ‘the likeability X-factor’. People warmed to Zara because she was perceived as being hard-working and authentic, like her mother Princess Anne.- Both Tindalls are accomplished. She’s a bona fide Olympian, a member of the Team GB equestrian team. He played rugby for England, winning the World Cup in 2003.- The Tindalls are perceived as ‘what you see is what there is’ - genuine.Interestingly, the Tindalls are tactile and affectionate with each other. Does that remind you of a certain ducal couple - yet they don’t seem to strike the right chord. Yes, the public can tell BS.Their natural charm, behaviour, and good manners endear the Tindalls to people. On their current visit to Australia, they’re winning over Republicans (ie the Australians who prefer a republic to the monarchy). The Tindalls have many business interests.Together, their net worth is estimated to be around £30 million / $38.24 million - all through their own hard work: Sun archived unarchived. (And Zara’s been a Rolex ambassador since 2006.)The Sussexes started off with the advantage of titles and a closer connection to the throne - 6th compared to 21st. On the strength of this, they landed a contract with Spotify valued at £15.69 million / $20 million; a book deal at £27.46-31.38 million / $35-40 million; and Netflix worth some £78.45 million / $100 million (NB these are unverified figures). The Spotify contract went south - signed in 2020; actually launched in 2022; and cancelled in 2023. Netflix is looking shaky after a sort-of successful fauxcumentary; something about world leaders which went under the radar; and the Meghan Show Heart of Invictus, which wasn’t as successful as hoped. The Sparse autobiography might’ve done well, but there seems to be little appetite for more self-pitying material, or anything of which the Sussexes might conceive. Maybe Why I Snubbed Hollywood: My Truth? It couldn’t be worse.EDIT: Forgot about Meghan’s magic mushroom cof-e compny. That clevr move might make her fortune. post link: https://ift.tt/YTPo48k author: Mickleborough submitted: January 12, 2024 at 10:27PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit

no tom needs to run the hell away from watch ambassadorships, they are serious you are restricted to what you can wear. If tom gets omega ambassadorship he is not allowed to wear rolex nor patek philip, he only can be seen with omega. Watch ambamassaors are serious. Patek has never done brand ambasaadors ( because they dont need one) and rolex only does ones with a select few athletes (federer and tiger woods)
For a watch collector like tom, you should avoid those contracts like the plague.
Jacob elordi signed on with tag heur has only been seen with that brand, similarly timmy who recently joined up with cartier the only watch hes worn since is cartier. George clooney only wears omega. Serena williams only wears (epecially in all of her matches) audemars piguet because of her brand deal and the list goes on.
Tag heur, omega, piaget they need brand ambassadors because there brands dont have the same cachet as rolex, patek,
LOL But who cares as long as the watch is nice and I'm getting paid for wearing their brand? Am I missing a problem here lol? 😅🤣
Tumblr media
Look, I don't mind wearing a paper bag SACK if it means I'm getting paid to only wear THEIR brand of paper bag sack lol. 😅 Ambassadorships aren't forever either. I mean, if they only want to do a contract for a few years, then that's what the celebrity will do. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I don't see a problem with that.
It's GOOD passive income imo.

what is happening in the world of motorsports?
TEAMS
Andretti are planning to enter F2 and F3 championships and opened a new facility at Silverstone Park UK (with a promise of future commitment to F1 as well if they get a green light again)
probably because of Alpine's struggles so far this year (and also thanks to Andretti looking for a way into F1), there are some rumours flying around about Alpine being bought out by a different brand
Ferrari is bringing a significant update to Imola which could potentially help them with quali issues and bring them closer to RBR if not on their level for now (generally big ifs and maybes)
McLaren will be bringing upgrade package to Miami (like Ferrari originally planned too) but Andrea Stella doesn't actually expect to close the gap to Ferrari with it
Mercedes is still having corellation problems between sim and race track data and it turns out their operating window is also significantly smaller than other teams
Williams launched "Williams Grand Prix Technologies" company to help solve their clients' problems using F1 solutions
DRIVERS
Fernando Alonso signed a new long term contract extension with Aston Martin and it's supposed to be well beyond 2026
Charles launched his LEC ice cream line which you can buy in shops in Italy (they are 5 flavours and they are not expensive as i expected)
Charles also - most likely - got a new puppy named Leo Leclerc
Lando is in Forbes 30 under 30 Europe 2024: Sports and Games
Carlos Sainz met Jannik Sinner (F1 Ambassador) and Novak Djokovic (nastie) at Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters yesterday
Lewis is getting a new instagram account and posted a few pictures including Roscoe but more importantly also a pic from the studio (which could hint at new music we may never get as usual)
Lewis also received an award at GQ creativity awards last night
Lawrence Barretto said that the rumour inside the paddock is that Carlos' options for a new team are Williams and Sauber (but it's not a very reliable source tbh)
Since there have been rumours about Carlos being given an ultimatum from Audi, reportedly they have been exploring their other options and Nico and Yuki are on top of their list to hire
Max hinted again on retiring after his contract expires once again
And since we are talking contracts, Toto Wolff once again mentioned Kimi Antonelli is the biggest candidat for the Mercedes seat, although he previously sad he can't talk about him too much to avoid pressure
Pierre and Lando were both at PSG game and saw them lose ✨️ (they were not WITH each other though)
and speaking of Lando, it looks like Alex's grandma is a big Lando fangirl 💀
OTHER
Hockenheim and Nürburgring (as well as South Korea) are in contact with F1 with the possibility of discussion of 2026 rotation calendar which could see new as well older tracks returning
Ted Toleman the founder of his F1 team also named Toleman passed away
Envision FE team changed up the lineup for rookie test to get Paul Aron in the car because Berlin E-prix is happening at the same time as WEC and both Buemi and Frijns will be driving there so they can't drive FE the next day, instead Paul Aron and Joel Eriksson will drive
Also there are rumours about London race instead being moved to Silverstone
Caitling Wood will have a Barbie car at Porsche Sprint Challenge GB Championship and I need everyone to see it, so I'm adding pics below

Trailblazers of the Green: Celebrating the Rise and Impact of Women in Golf
A History Rooted in Determination
Women's golf has a rich and inspiring history. The roots of female participation in golf can be traced back to the late 19th century when pioneers like Lady Margaret Scott and Issette Pearson were breaking down barriers. These women paved the way for future generations by demonstrating that golf was not only a man's game but a sport where women could also excel.
Lady Scott, in particular, won the first three British Ladies Amateur Golf Championships (1893-1895), which was the only major event available for women at the time. Despite limited opportunities, these early trailblazers ignited the passion for golf in women across the globe, setting the stage for the growth we witness today.
Breaking Barriers and Shattering Stereotypes
In the early 20th century, women took their place on the golf course, but it wasn't until the formation of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in 1950 that female golfers gained greater recognition. The LPGA, founded by legends like Babe Zaharias, Patty Berg, and Louise Suggs, created a professional platform for women golfers to showcase their talents.
Zaharias, a multi-sport athlete and Olympic gold medalist, became a household name in golf. Her trailblazing spirit, along with others in the LPGA, broke down traditional stereotypes and proved that women could be just as skilled and competitive as men on the golf course.
This era witnessed many firsts, with women not only excelling but also challenging the notion that golf was an exclusively male domain.
A Surge in Popularity: The Modern Era
Fast forward to the 21st century, and the growth of women's golf has been nothing short of spectacular. Athletes like Annika Sörenstam, Lorena Ochoa, and Inbee Park have become global icons, raising the profile of women's golf to unprecedented heights.
Sörenstam's dominance in the early 2000s, including ten major championship wins and over 90 international tournament victories, revolutionized the sport. Her decision to compete in a men's PGA event in 2003 further highlighted her talent and determination, inspiring countless women to pursue professional golf careers.
Today, women's golf is booming, with the LPGA attracting more fans and sponsors and major tournaments like the ANA Inspiration and the U.S. Women's Open growing in prestige. Modern technology, social media, and increased media coverage have amplified the sport's reach, giving female golfers a platform to shine and connect with fans worldwide.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Female Golfers
The impact of today's female golfers extends far beyond their success on the course. Many players are role models and ambassadors for the game, inspiring young girls to take up golf and pursue their dreams. Programs like LPGA*USGA Girls Golf have been instrumental in introducing golf to younger audiences and promoting inclusion.
Players like Lexi Thompson and Brooke Henderson continue to inspire the next generation with their talent, sportsmanship, and dedication. They are not only successful athletes but also advocates for gender equality and empowerment in sports. Through mentorship and community outreach, these golfers are helping to create pathways for young women to thrive in a traditionally male-dominated sport.
The Economic Impact of Women’s Golf
Beyond inspiring a new generation of players, women's golf's rise has had a significant economic impact on the sport as a whole. With increasing sponsorships, partnerships, and prize money, women's golf has become a lucrative industry.
Significant brands like Rolex, KPMG, and CME Group have recognized the value of supporting female golfers, and their involvement has led to higher purses and more significant financial opportunities for players. The CME Group Tour Championship, for example, now boasts a $7 million purse, one of the largest in women's golf.
This surge in investment and support has elevated the visibility of women's golf, making it more attractive for aspiring players and helping bridge the gap between men's and women's sports in terms of pay and sponsorships.
Women’s Golf in the Global Spotlight
The international nature of women's golf cannot be ignored. From Asia to Europe, the sport has gained massive popularity across continents, with players from South Korea, Sweden, and Thailand becoming dominant forces in the LPGA.
In particular, South Korean golfers have had an immense influence on the sport, with stars like Inbee Park, Se Ri Pak, and So Yeon Ryu becoming household names. Their success has sparked a golf boom in South Korea, leading to the development of world-class talent and a deeper global appreciation for women's golf.
This globalization of the sport has not only diversified the playing field but also created exciting rivalries and stories that captivate fans worldwide.
The Future of Women's Golf: A Bright Horizon
As women's golf continues to grow in popularity, its future looks incredibly bright. There are ongoing efforts to increase visibility, improve accessibility, and promote gender equality in the sport. Initiatives like equal pay and improved media coverage are essential to ensuring that female golfers receive the recognition they deserve.
The sport is also becoming more inclusive, with growing diversity among players and more opportunities for women of all backgrounds to participate. With continued support from fans, sponsors, and the golf community, women's golf is poised to reach even greater heights.
Women's golf is no longer in the shadow of its male counterpart. It has blossomed into a vibrant, competitive, and inspiring sport that celebrates female athletes for their talent, perseverance, and impact on the global sports landscape.
