See I dunno if he sees his fellow crew as like, inferior meatbags, because Ash has some DEEP inferiority issues himself. One of the reasons he is so enamoured with the xenomorph is he sees it as biological perfection, and he either just wants to touch that greatness because sees himself as flawed because he's an older model droid who's been mostly cast aside (PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE), or because he hopes to attain that level of perfection himself. In any case he would absolutely have to bottle up his pride and self-reliance in order to let someone else have such complete control over bodily functions that even he can't control (though to me that sounds like a perfect opportunity to discover he's a MASSIVE sub)

The stopping labor thing actually ties back into the first part of your note, because to me that would be what affords the specimen an opportunity to try to burst out, and maybe it has a hard time doing so because of what he's made out of but honestly I don't think he's very sturdy, unless Parker is VERY strong to knock off his head just with one swing of a fire extinguisher.

But the "chestburster taking its sweet time in coming out" reminds me of an EXQUISITE scene from the audible adaptation of Alien: River of Pain where a Company shill got betrayed by a fellow greasy corpo to knock her up with a specimen, and she's basically acting like she's in labour (at one point she says between lamaze-like breaths "why is this taking so long??"). If I was a better artist I'd probably draw it as a comic. But yeah I can imagine Ashy boi in a similar situation

(just fyi im not trying to be "um actually" on you, i think this is a fun notion and i want to play toys with it!) i get what you mean on androids should be a 2 rather than a 1, but i think it only counts in terms of their character and not their physical appearance. from a looks aspect, the overarching fleshiness of perfect androids are too un-robot like. think of it from an outsiders perspective: tier 1 are the characters non-robot fuckers can get behind without a problem, where some folks at tier 2 might think their metal bits are starting to be a bit of a turn off, but still acceptable, and tier 3 will often be met by surprise by most non-robotfuckers.

as for anthro robot, i think that ones "is a robot but takes on a humanoid/anthropomorphized appearance". legs, arms, a torso, a head, maybe a tail or smth if its a like a fnaf animatronics or those furry robots (i forget the name). id argue robotic animals and robots with a more abstractly monsterous appearence would kind of fall into a 3.5 tier bc they're no longer "anthro", but still not as non-organic as "computer with a face"

oh don't worry about it! i was also interested in what people thought of it. given this explanation actually yeah I can see why androids are 1 and cyborgs are 2, it does make sense when you put it that way 🤔

also that's roughly what i figured "anthro robot" meant, its the general idea of taking a non-human figure and giving it a human shape, full robots but with the general proportions of a human being, like how furries are designed.

Before you can sleep, though, SC-01A produces a tissue from which to dry the rest of those tears off of you, wiping until you're clean of streaks. They shift their head to smooch your cheek, disposing of the tissue within their compartment before returning their head dutifully to the top of yours.
