I just want to know what happened between the Merry Thieves Generation to the Circle's generation to make them the way that they are. Like, how did these families go from being so respectful and kind to downworlders to their direct descendants forming a downworlder hate group that almost destroyed the Shadowhunting world. Like, was the Circle's generation just on something or was this a horrible, gradual shift that made these families unrecognizable to what they once were?

My dream is for every shadowhunter series to get a graphic novel version of them. ESPECIALLY The infernal devices!! Imagine how amazing it would be, just look at how gorgeous the TMI ones are:

I actually think if TSC is ever to get another movie/tv show adaption it needs to be animated.

And now, we have the final (and largest) of the main five families; it's the Lightwoods!

The Lightwoods are in fact my favorite TSC family, which is why I saved them for last (gazing at my blorbos' names as a little treat to myself).

I still used the found family tree for a couple of the names, but it claimed that Isidore Lightwood was the son of Grace and Christopher, which is obviously impossible so I just assumed that he's now Alexander's kid. Also, (and this goes for all my family trees) I used birth years from the defunct tree but not death years, just because the only characters whose birth years are sourced purely from the tree are incredibly minor; while the death years are a lot more significant to characters we care about and therefore far more likely to be contradicted at some point. (Also I'm a squishy emotional guy and don't wanna think about my beloved characters having concrete death dates).

love all the tmi couples POST tmi but in every single case the early relationship was in shambles like why is everyone pretending they cannot see red flags come on now. if they had friends who were actually involved and NOT each other they would be holding interventions and telling y'all to break up at every given opportunity. but no they're surrounded by people who spend their time making objectively worse romantic decisions so they do too. and yes this applies to everyone

Simon: We were climbing up stairs, I told Jace he should go faster and he turned around and pushed me Alec: I was behind Simon when Jace pushed him and fell on me Jace: Magnus pushed me when Alec got buried under Simon. Isabelle: I tried to push Jace, but Magnus had already pushed him so when I leaned down to do it I accidentally fell down. Magnus: She tried to hold me to save herself but ended up draging me down too. Clary: I was at the top of the stairs when all that happened, I saw them and laughed so hard I accidentally fell. Maia: I’m not hurt, I just heard there was free grape juice here.
