CM: He replied to every single letter. And one of your jobs early doors wasto sift through all of that fan mail. Can you give us a real first person insight into how much Terry Pratchett valued those who bought his books?

Rob: He valued them to the point where if he didn't reply to the mail, he could have easily, easily completed another novel. And I know the value on to him for completing another novel, not just financially, but another novel. Another novel out there. All of those ideas tipped within the pages and he gave that up for the fans to reply to the fan mail. And that really isn't an exaggeration. It wasn't just a few hours here and there replying to the fan mail. He dedicated a lot of time to it. And the fan mail ranged from, I love everything that you do, that's it just an outpouring of love, to really in depth taking apart the words and looking for the deep meanings, some of which were not there. And Terry didn't intend them to be there. But whatever people got from the novels, Terry was all is very respectful in his replies. And he took that incredibly seriously. Yes, he took that job as seriously as he did the VAT returns.

Mike: Oh, for me— for me, it was an absolute. An absolute. Sure, of course they did. You know... BJ would walk across the country to spend— spend time in Hawkeye's company. And it probably... wouldn't have been as wonderful as he— as he'd hoped it was because, you know, lives had gone in—

Rob: —right! Sure—

Mike: —different directions, but. Yeah, no, I don't think there's— for me, there is no question but that they saw each other again—

Rob: —right—

Mike: —made a point. Made a point of seeing each other again.

Rob: That makes me feel good.

And the loose excuses are bloody hilarious to me.

SHOWRUNNER: "Then shut up then. We know what we're doing."

Truimphed through 90's censorship? More like bulldozed over it and Xena was the one driving the vehicle, knocking down homophobes as she went. Picking up all her girlfriends on the way. This is great! 😂

I think it's the greatest thing ever that both showrunners are like this. I wonder what Sam Raimi would say. Still haven't come across his commentary. Got shit loads from Tapert and Stewart but no Raimi.

Ted Raimi, yes. but not Sam. Yet he is an executive producer too. 🤷‍♀️

But more showrunners that have a WLW ship in their show need to be this damn brave and adamant. Need to really rally behind their fans. The thing is... if they do... they'll get it right back. I'll make very sure of it because I don't fucking show up for what doesn't show up for me.
