my roommate took me out to a fancy french bistro for dinner tonight and it was sooooo good. slightly embarrassed myself when the owner walked through the dining room and saw me chewing the last bit of meat from the bone of my lamb but i think i made up for it by chatting with him a little in french on our way out, he seemed so surprised and happy to hear someone else speaking french to him LOL

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Ingredients
1 Rack of Lamb 2 Rosemary Sprigs 3 Garlic Cloves 2 cups Italian Parsley 1/2 cup Olive Oil Salt & Pepper to taste Directions
Create the marinade
1 - Pull the Rosemary leaves from the stems 2 - Dice up garlic cloves 3 - Chop parsley 4 - Olive oil 5 - Salt & pepper
Add contents to a blender or food processor, give a quick blend. Salt & pepper both sides of the lamb rack, then coat with marinade and place in a ziploc bag and refrigerate overnight. Cooking Instructions
Preheat over to 450 degrees. Place marinated lamb in a shallow roasting pan meat side up on the upper oven rack for 15 mins.
After 15 mins, flip the lamb to bone side up for an additional 5 mins, remove from oven. Turn the oven to broil and place lamb back in the over meat side up for an additional 5 mins. Remove the lamb from the oven and cover, let rest for 10 mins.
The desired internal temperature is 135 degrees for medium. Slice and serve with Tzatziki sauce and preferred vegetable.

Roasted Pistachio and Herb Crusted Lamb Rack
Lamb rack is such a treat for me so I wanted to make sure I made it as tasty as possible. I remember having a macadamia crusted lamb chop which was delicious. I used pistachio for mine and dried herbs. I love pepper so I added a good amount of this too. Using mustard as your ‘glue’ adds a really nice extra flavour too. This was juicy, tender and absolutely delicious. I had mine with some red wine…

The cafeteria doors parted, swinging open as any other door would—but to Fellow and Gidel, it was as if the gates to heaven were welcoming them. Humming chatter and the smells of delicious foods churned out from beyond. Deeply inhaling, tasting the aromas in the back of one’s throat, made their bodies light and floaty, as if hunger had made them weightless.
They followed a hoard of uniformed boys with trays, drifting to buffet stations loaded with dishes they could only dream of. Slabs of roast beef dripping with mushroom gravy, racks od lamb, game birds with crisped skin, fish glistening with herb butter, steaming stews with vegetables bobbing in a sea of rich broth, fluffy rice, cakes sliced wide and trifles stacked tall. The paper-thin slice of bread and beans they had for supper had never looked quite so sorry.
Gidel didn’t notice that his mouth was agape and slick with saliva until a cane tucked under his chin and closed it for him. Fellow pulled the young boy close, a hand on his arm as he wildly gestured to the waiting delicacies.
“Take a gander, Giddie! All that food’s free and ours for the taking!!” he chirped. “Ready your fork and knife, we’re going to eat like kings today!”
Arm in arm, the duo dove into the bar, grabbing as much as they reasonably could. Generous scoops of mashed potato, the biggest pieces of meat, plenty of sauce, the largest loaves. Gidel rushed about with an apple crammed into his mouth and Fellow snuck oyster crackers into his breast pocket (as a late-night snack).
While their plates piled higher and higher, the mob students grew more irritable. Elbowing them out of the way, snatching up popular itwms, and taking far more than their share had the tendency to invoke ire. The mobs casted dirty looks at Fellow and Gidel, others raising their voices at the kitchen.
“Oi, where’s the refill of tomato soup? I’ve been waitin’ for forever over here!”
“When’re the dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggies gonna be done…”
“I’m so hungry I could eat a whole horse. What’s the damn hold up?!”
“Be patient, boys!” a ghost chef callee back. He grunted as he hailed a vat of curry off of the stove. “It takes time to prepare the food.”
“They’re ravenous today,” remarked the lead chef. “Wonder what’s going on. We normally don’t have to prepare this much.”
By this time, Fellow (trailed by Gidel) had pushed his way to the front of the crowd. He set down his tray (the tower of food upon it wobbling, threatening to collapse) and waved enthusiastically at the chefs.
“Afternoon, gents! How’s it going? Looks to me like you’re hard at work feeding all these wayward souls.”
“Oh, um. Just fine, thank you.” The head chef blinked. He liked to think that he recognized all of the students and staff that came into his dining room, but he was drawing a total blank with Fellow and Gidel. “Er… Sorry, are you new around here? I don’t think I’ve seen you boys before.”
“Fufu, that’s right. We’re new to these parts.”
“They ain’t even students,” an angry mob student behind him piped up.
The lead chef startled. Worry crumpled his round, marshamallowy face. “Oh dear, not students? The buffet is only open to them and staff.” He glanced at Fellow’s pickings. “I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you to return all that.”
Anger and annoyance shot through the fox beastman. Tch…! Those NRC brats, looking down on me! Why should they get to gorge themselves on this stuff while the rest of us beg for their scraps?!
He reached down and gripped Gidel’s hand, giving the young boy a reassuring squeeze. Gidel offered a sleepy grin back.
Watch this. I’ll turn this entire situation around and have them eating out of the palm of my hand.
He let out a theatrical gasp, then summoned his most charming smile. “My bad, I forgot to introduce myself! You see, I am a health inspector sent by the Department of Magic Education to evaluate your menu! Gidel here’s my trusty assistant.”
The leader of the ghost chefs scratched his head. “Huh? Is that what a health inspector does…?”
“Of course, or cooourse! All a part of the job description, my friend.” Fellow indicated his absurd amount of food. “They’re looking to implement new standards for magic school menus—and where better to look at as a model for reference than THE famous Night Raven College? The education it offers is elite, so the meals it offers must be elite as well! That’s why they’ve sent us to try one of everything, to evaluate the quality of your wares.”
Gidel bobbed his head. (He had little clue what he was actually agreeing with, but he agreed nevertheless.)
“Come ON, you don’t seriously buy this crap, do you?” a mob student groaned. “The old fart’s clearly lying!!”
Other voices joined him, but they all fell upon deaf ears. The head chef’s eyes sparkled, his pasty white cheeks rosy with excitement.
“Oooooh, why didn’t you say so sooner?! W-We will absolutely do everything in our power to accommodate your needs, Sir Health Inspector!” He turned to his kitchen staff. “Isn’t this so exciting, everyone? We’ll be the first group of ghosts to receive a fancy accolade after death!”
A murmur of approval weaved through the kitchen. The dining room, however, erupted into a fresh round of protests.
“You’re joking!!”
“That’s such an obvious lie.”
“How can you believe that bullcrap?!”
Keheheh, never underestimate the power of this Fellow Honest-sama’s silver tongue 🎶 I didn’t even need to use my unique magic to cut to the front of the line. Some people are just born suckers and stay suckers in the afterlife.
He smirked, giving a triumphant twirl of his cane. “Sorry, folks! You snooze, you lose. We get first dibs on everything~”
“Hah?! What’d ya just say to me?” A vein bulged on a Savanaclaw student’s forehead. He was about double Fellow’s width and rippling with muscle. “Like hell you are!”
“The way you talk is pissin’ me off!!” chimed in a Diasomnia student. He drew his baton and aimed it at Fellow. “I oughta shut you up for good!”
The idea was a seed, taking root and festering among his peers. Other students were producing their own magical pens, out of pockets and from inside vests.
Fellow paled, balking but keeping himself between the mobs and Gidel. “H-Hey now, can’t we talk this over? Violence doesn’t solve everything, you know!”
“YES IT DOES,” the mobs retorted—in unison for once. Hungry and angry, a terrible combination.
Gidel whimpered. No sound, but Fellow could sense it in the way the boy retreated into his coat. A free hand found its way to the small of Gidel’s back, keeping him upright.
Don’t let them see you like that. Weak, downtrodden. It’s letting them have the moral victory.
His grin widened. He was a fox looking to sink his teeth into unsuspecting prey.
“Why spend your youth grumpy and causing trouble? You should lighten up, live a little, laugh a little. Here, I’ll show you how. Just follow me! Come on to the Theater!! Life is Fun!!”
Fellow spun his cane, releasing a light shower of sparkles upon the crowd. They floated down, popping like popping on their skin. Eyes glazed over, twisted expressions slackened.
“Now then!!” Fellow, raised his cane like a baton, still spinning as he conducted his herd. He, poised as the ringleader. “Right this way, right this way, gentlemen! Let’s have a lively parade to the courtyard on this fine day!”
“The weather is nice today…”
“Coach said I need to get more exercise in.”
“I’ve been stressed about classes, I need to take this break.”
Marching—one, two, one, two—Fellow led the procession out of the cafeteria. He belted out a tune as he ushered students through the exit.
“Hi-diddle-dee-dee, actor's life for me!”
(Gidel pranced in and out of the line of students, reaching into pockets and retrieving miscellaneous items. Pencils, a keychain, spare change. He stashed them under his hat.)
“A high silk hat and a silver cane, a watch of gold with a diamond chain!”
When the last student was gone, Fellow made a U-turn and rushed back into the cafeteria, slamming the doors behind him. He dropped his smile, letting it shatter like a porcelain teacup and not bothering to salvage the remains.
“Sheesh, they’re finally out of my fur!” Fellow sighed deeply. “Those rotten kids really had to make me work hard for my meal...”
Gidel scrambled over to him, pulling out the various items he had clumsily pilfered. Look what I got! he seemed to say.
Fellow brightened, ruffling the child’s messy brown mop. “Atta boy, Giddie! We sure showed those snooty rich kids what for, eh?”
At that moment, the head chef bursted out of the kitchen juggling a tray of apple strudel. He was followed by several other ghosts, each carrying a new dish.
“Sorry for the wait, here’s the… Huh?” The head chef glanced around the nearly empty cafeteria, his brows knitting. “Where did everybody go?”
“Must’ve gone out for a stroll Fine by me, they’re letting us get right down to business,” Fellow laughed, clapping a hand on Gidel’s shoulder. “C’mon, that’s enough excitement for one day. Let’s dig in!”

You will never be rid of him. You're stuck with him forever
He's the first to volunteer himself to be the taste tester of new dishes you try out or experiment with
Will supply you with fresh fruit, veg, or herbs he grows in his garden and greenhouse to incorporate into your meals
If you also make cakes, Primo will supply you with edible flowers you can decorate them with
Prior to the two of you getting together, he didn't really each much so now he eats way better because of you
He loves watching you cook and seeing how you prepare food in comparison to his brothers. You have such a passion for what you do that he can't help but be enamored by you
Primo's favourite meal that you've made for him: roasted garlic butternut squash and gnocchi
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨
Secondo is another man who didn't eat well until you came along
He's more than happy to take a break from his work to eat a home cooked meal that you've lovingly prepared
In fact, bribing him with your latest dish or recipe is the most effective way of getting him to finish his work day on time rather than working overtime or staying late in the office
Likes to help you cook whenever you're willing to let him do so
He's a pretty good cook himself, not that anyone else would actually know that off the bat. It's something he keeps to himself and doesn't like to brag about
If you've been together for a while, he'll share the odd recipe or two with you that his mother used to make for him and his brothers when they were younger
There's no point asking anyone else if they wanna try a bite off your newest recipes because he will immediately jump in and decide that he's going to have the honour of being the first to try your newest dishes
Secondo's favourite meal that you've made for him: seared scallops with salsa verde and capers

When they say "the quickest way to a man's heart is through their stomach", it's Terzo they're talking about
While Secondo keeps his cookery capabilities to himself, Terzo will boast about his own skills in the kitchen and will often try to help out
You have to be firm with him if you want to do a dish on your own, such as a new one you're experimenting with or trying to learn from scratch
There are no leftovers when it comes to the meals you cook for the two of you. Terzo will in fact go back for second and third helpings even if he's not hungry anymore because he loves your cooking so much
He likes to make fresh pasta with you as a bonding activity and he lets you use it in your meals and recipes
Frequently will make trips to the supermarket for you if you unexpectedly run out of ingredients. There's no way he's letting something like that disrupt your fun!!
Has more of a sweet tooth than his brothers, so he will regularly ask him to make puddings or desserts for him (and will bring out the puppy dog eyes to convince you)
Terzo's favourite meal you've made for him: herb crusted rack of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and a spinach and basil timbale
𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚
Copia is a guy who forgets to eat and take care of himself until his stomach is literally in pain (he's me fr)
So having a partner who is a brilliant cook and will spoil him rotten with fantastic food helps him remember to eat when he needs to and not just when his body is hurting
He is a pasta expert, so he's used to spending time in the kitchen
However, he much prefers watching you cook and bustle about the kitchen rather than cooking himself
The passion you display and the pride you take in your recipes makes him fall even harder for you
A lot of your date nights consist of a home cooked meal for two. Copia much prefers staying in with you and enjoying the food you make rather than going out to fancy restaurants
Always tries to sneak a taste of what you're cooking before it's done and he giggles like a mischievous little kid every time you catch him in the act. It's the most adorable thing you've ever seen
Copia's favourite meal you've made for him: capellini pomodoro with freshly made garlic bread

While there was some new art, previously seen concept art, there was also the use of ending credit slides. Some possibly denoting certain world states that I briefly referred to in the master post here.

These are all new images with three of these looking to be concept art: the presumably Orlesian woman looking at Andrastian themed items, the antaam spearman preparing to throw a spear, and the table setting of what looks like it might be for Rivain or Tevinter based on the aesthetic. Though I lean more Tevinter due to the snake on the basket.
The bowl and platter look to maybe be prop designs, and they are distinctly bird themed with what looks like feathers around the base of the bowl and then mirrored crows on either side of the platter with a dagger etched in the center.
The red bear shown here is new, though it is similar to a mural in Dragon Age: Inquisition in the barn where there is a green-ish bear with stars on its muzzle breathing what might be fire, while holding the white silhouette of a figure with antlers. (Couldn't attach it due to there being a photo limit.)
Then to further note that the dark blue building image looks similar to some concept art/Development images from Dragon Age: Dreadwolf (DA4)

Overall the world state makes a lot of sense I think, they went with the one that would be less quantum - so no one is dead or could be dead and is in an important role; hence Cassandra being Divine,
Summary
Inquisition is disbanded
Grey Wardens are divided; though as of the comics and Tevinter Nights we know regardless all Wardens have been called back to Weisshaupt. Unclear if the civil war mentioned in DAI is actually happening.
Morrigan has Kieran and he doesn't have the old god soul anymore
Cole is human
Josephine had her personal quest done.
Leliana wasn't killed in Origins, she is fully human and now retired.
Alistair is king
Cassandra is Divine, no clear answer on the state of the Seekers.
Cullen is retired and established the sanctuary for former templars.

BREAKING: HE'S MET THE PARENTS! GUS AND ANYA SEEN LEAVING PALACE TOGETHER!
This is not a drill. We repeat, this is not a drill!
Gus and Anya were seen leaving the Palace together after having dinner with The Queen and Prince Jacques!
Our well-placed source confirms that Gus was invited by both The Queen and Prince Jacques to a quiet dinner at the Palace:
"Anya often hosts her parents and her siblings at her home in Agneaux House, but with Prince Jacques still recuperating, they had to reschedule. It was then that The Queen and the Prince instead offered to host the dinner at home - the Palace - with strict instructions to bring Gus along."
This perhaps explains the new hairdo and look for Gus - after all, when one is personally invited by The Queen, one doesn't show up in muddy boots and a man bun! Maybe the flowers weren't for Anya! Maybe they were for Her Majesty - after all, lilies are her favourite! "Lily" even happens to be her nickname! If so, that's just very cute and sweet of Gus! Looks like someone was trying to win some points!

"It was a no frills dinner, a family thing. The Queen even cooked her signature dish: roast rack of lamb with garlic and herbs. It was very casual, very intimate. Of course, poor Gus was probably sweating bullets.
But I have it on good authority that things went along swimmingly. It wasn't an interrogation or anything sinister - they just wanted to meet Gus and get to know the man who has won Anya's heart. Gus is the first boyfriend Anya has "brought home" in a very public manner. Although it was reported back then that she has introduced some of her exes to her parents, we never really had any photographic evidence of such introductions - until now.
Now that Gus has officially met Anya's parents, what exactly does this mean for the couple? A royal expert reveals:
"It's a very serious thing, this outing. It's saying that Gus and Anya's relationship is solid enough that introductions have been made, and that Gus has been welcomed in to the inner circle of the royals. I think the fact that we have photos of it is very special. We've read reports about how Ingrid's boyfriend has gone through the same 'welcoming committee,' but they were often second hand accounts. But this - we have proof that he has, indeed, met the parents."

The lovebirds drove back to Anya's house, with Gus behind the wheel of his luxury sports car. Anya's security detail was right behind them in a heavily-tinted SUV. A few hours later, Gus was seen leaving Agneaux House - solo, this time - before heading off towards the Business District, where he is reportedly staying. Rumours circulated earlier this week that he closed a deal on a penthouse unit in the city, to help make his visits in Brindleton much easier.
He's cut his hair, met her parents, and even purchased real property for Anya. At this point, we guess it's safe to say that there's nothing he won't do make his Princess happy!

Absolutely. Please preheat the oven to 425. Here are some garlic bulbs. Remove the outsides and carefully remove and discard the tips. Now slice each piece of garlic vertically into thirds. I’m going to slice holes into this leg of lamb. Take each slice of garlic and press it deep into each hole to maximize the flavor when it’s roasted. Once you’ve finished that I’d like the small potatoes washed and halved - make sure to keep the skin on. Let’s set those aside, we’ll add them to the roasting pan once we have reduced the heat. Finally, please peal and halve the onions. Let’s also set that aside. I’ve applied the rub of oil, spicy mustard and a dash of Worcester sauce to the lamb. So let’s get it on its rack and place it on the baking pan. Is the oven at 425? Great. Let’s put the roast in. Let’s wait 45 minutes to an hour before we reduce the heat and put the potatoes and onions in.
I’ll take care of that for you, but I think this would be a good time for you to finally pick out your skirt and shirt for our guests. I just don’t think the apron alone look is the type of impression we want to make on them and I know how long it typically takes you to put your outfit together. Thanks for the help in the kitchen.

It’s Restaurant Week in Chicago! A friend organized a dinner out for a couple of us at Untitled Supper Club, a speakeasy-themed joint I’ve been wanting to try. It has a bar with a library ladder, naked ladies on the wallpaper, and a spectacular chandelier -- and the food’s pretty good too. 
We had a four-course meal beginning with burrata with truffle honey on a bed of whiskey-roasted grapes, then my friends had oysters while I had the lemon caesar salad; pictured is my entree, lasagne with wild mushrooms and braised leeks, while others got the amish roast chicken or grilled rack of lamb. For dessert we had apple pie cheesecake with dried apple chips, spiced apples in sauce, and vanilla bourbon gelato. 
I don’t think it’s somewhere I’d go regularly for a meal, because it’s a bit fancy both in food and decor, but the food was exceptional and I got a nice compliment on my pineapple-print shirt and currently-pink hair from the extremely fashionable host. 
I took an Adderall before the meal so I felt really good being able to relax and socialize without worrying that I’d spend the next few days replaying all of the awkward things I said; this morning I’m only remembering good stuff, like one person recounting a tale of Trivia Game Hacking and another telling me “It’s okay we’ve derailed the story I was telling, that’s how conversation works!”
And then I walked home with Auntie A, because it was a cold but pleasant night out, and we got to talk about our writing work. Then I came upstairs and got to sit on the sofa and unwind with this.

Chapter 5 of Constellations and Miscommunications
IT'S OUT EARLY!!!! AHHHHH! Here's the link to chapter 5 of C&M!
Oh we're so close I can taste it! I'm so excited! Chapter 6 is actually already edited... we sort of edited out of order because my reading comprehension for the rules of the fest was nil. So, I'm hoping I can actually get you guys chapter 6 by this Sunday or midweek next week for funsies!
Chapter 7... it's get a rewrite unfortunately haha. So, it may not be up next Sunday! This one was a really fun and emotional one to write just because of its focus on Draco and mental health and such. I'm really excited about it! Lil snippet:
Hermione found her seat next between Harry and Ron, while Kingsley, Wiggins, and a few other Healers from work settled around the table. Food promptly appeared on their plates—pistachio crusted rack of lamb with charred radicchio and mash. 
“If this is how the Malfoys eat then I sure wish you’d invited us round when you were dating, ‘Mione,” Ron said, digging in. 
Hermione frowned as Harry snorted, shaking his head as he cut into his own rack of lamb. 
“Ronald,” Hermione said. She smiled despite the tasteless joke. “We never ate here. Actually, he cooked for me at my flat more often than not.”  
“You think he cooked all of this?” Ron said through a mouthful of lamb, gesturing at the plates with his knife. 
Hermione rolled her eyes. Of course he didn’t. But as she stared at her plate, her heart lurched, a memory washing over her. 
This was the exact meal he cooked for her when she first invited him to her flat.
He had spent all day prepping it–trying to find the perfect recipe, roasting the nuts himself, hand crusting the lamb. Draco had even gone to a local Muggle market to pick out the radicchio himself. 
She blinked. 
It couldn’t mean anything though. 
“Doubtful,” Hermione said, swiping her fork over the mash.

mmm, we’ll it’s definitely been on my mind lately. I’ve really been into fancy clothes and expensive tastes lately so I’m gonna give something a go.
Edit: this was way more than I intended but here we are I rly hope this is good.
maybe we’re out at a fancy restaurant, a place we’ve really been looking forward to because of the decadent menu and robust wine selection. I’m in a sleek dress, a compliment to your fitted suit - a little more fitted than the last time you wore it. The fabric is tight around your thighs, the button hanging on for dear life, highlighting how thick you’ve gotten for me lately. The jacket hugs your sides and I know you couldn’t close it if you tried. I chose a fancy place tonight for this reason exactly. I wanted you to look as indulgent as the food we’re about to eat.
I order multiple courses and a bottle of wine for the table, pouring you a glass and pushing my empty one to the side. Someone will have to drive tonight, after all, and I want you to be able to have a good time tonight. You drain a glass before the appetizers get here, digging in eagerly. I grin and refill your glass; watching you so excited to try all the food we had coming was so charming. 
You work through pastas, soups, main courses with braised beef, rack of lamb, butter poached fish, mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. You wash it down with glass after glass of wine, giggling as you pretend to swirl it in your glass before taking a sip. I eat my fair share of the meals, but then leave the rest for you. I notice you slowing down and take in your face, cheeks flushed from the half bottle of wine sitting in your likely full belly. You give me a lazy smile, stifling a burp and shifting in your seat to accommodate your bloated middle.
“Getting full, baby?” I ask, and you nod, fingers trailing down to rub your stomach. The buttons on your shirt are straining and you keep letting out deep burps behind your hand. I feel heat in my face and almost can’t wait for dessert before I take you home.
I help you finish the main courses with a hand on your thigh under the table, inching higher with each bite you take. You moan softly around each bite and I’m sure it’s from both the flavors and the arousal pulsing through you. You lean back in your chair and burp, hand pulling at your waistband in an attempt to make any extra room without actually undoing your pants. I kiss your cheek and whisper “good boy” in your ear before flagging the waitress and getting the check. I can’t wait for dessert.
I push one last glass of wine towards you and you gulp it down, eager to get home now that you see the hunger in my eyes. You get up and sway slightly, chuckling as you lean against me.
“I think I really overdid it.” You groan and place a hand on your stomach, as if that will help you steady yourself. “But it was all so delicious.” You feel so warm and pliant against me and those pants leave nothing to the imagination.
I eye the restrooms near the back, a set of one room men and women’s restrooms tucked in a hallway under lowlight. I wonder if you can feel the waves of arousal coming off me but when I make a split second decision and tug you towards the bathroom, you chuckle and pull me closer.
“Whatever you want, baby,” you say, voice hot and heady in my ear.
Dessert can definitely wait.
