Alicent protected her claim until she made herself a threat to her children, and even then showed her the most mercy and care out of anyone. sometimes Alicent did more to protect her than Rhaenyra did herself, and most certainly more than anyone had ever tried to do for her.

I know I just woke up, and I know that my brain wasn't braining normally when I had this thought, but you need to see my vision.

Silena was involved in Lee's death.

I talked before about Lee catching Silena talk to Kronos, and her feeling guilty when she finds out that he's dead, along with her secret. BUT what if, after Lee caught her, she tried to convince him to join Kronos/ use charmspeak on him? But it didn't work, and he would've probably yelled at her more, but the battle had started, and he had to make sure that everyone stayed alive.

So he was running around, like a headless chicken, changing others' positions, just to make sure that they didn't die. I always go with him dying while protecting his sibling (usually Will), and Silena not being involved at all. But this time, what if, while running around, he gets hit? You know, like an injury where you go, "I just need a second to breathe, then I'll be okay." Yeah, well, he doesn't get a second.

Before the giant kills him, he sees Silena, standing a bit far away. She watches, her axe drawn; but before he can call out to her she just. Turns around. And leaves, before the giant's club collapses with his head.

(Another version of this is that Lee doesn't die then. He lies on the ground, unable to move or call for help; blood leaks from his helmet. Silena is shocked to find him here, quietly breathing. As he tries to garble out a sound, Silena draws the same axe from before. She finishes the job that the monster started, either out of mercy or out of fear.)

thinking about how padmé is so insistent about staying on coruscant in the beginning of aotc, primarily to vote against the military creation act & bring others to her side, even though her life is directly, demonstrably at risk the entire time. i can't help but wonder if part of the reason she's so reluctant to go into hiding is because she feels like she's wasting cordé's sacrifice; the movie opens with the only scene where a handmaiden dies, and she does so while decoying for padmé. how much does that weigh on her, that someone close to her that she clearly cares for sacrificed their life so she could try and prevent the republic from going to war but she's not allowed to see it through. padmé seeing cordé as one of the first casualties of the clone wars. can anyone hear me.

personally i dont agree with the manhwas interpretations for the reason why ludger didnt seek help from casey when the missing cases first popped up (ie. he couldnt trust her cuz she's closely associated with the police) since it feels like they are seriously downplaying their friendship, but on the other hand... the angst of mistakenly distrusting someone who has unwavering trust in you, and then shattering that trust with your own two hands.

i started out doing inorganic chemistry, eventually decided on doing pharmaceuticals so I switched into organic chem and biochem to supplement. the more i learn, the more i realize the ENTIRE diet industry is a scam. Like not just most of it. ALL of it. The only advice anyone can give you to lose weight is to go hungry, unless they are giving you medicine which regulates leptin/NPY (which you will need to take for the rest of your life).

scientists have known since the 90s that our bodies have a “set point” in which our body heavily regulates our hormones so that we never go below or too much above that weight?? and like. nobody talks about it.

So today in job struggles my mom heard from someone that this one job I was considering is hiring but I’d have to go through indeed first and I kept telling my mom that it’s not listed on indeed and I just checked and it’s still not listed. I need to bite the bullet and walk down there to see what’s up but I find the whole process so embarrassing and since I dropped out of school I never learned anything about job interviews/application stuff and my parents are really lucky and haven’t had to do either of those things in decades and I’m just overwhelmed 🙃

had this dumb idea where Rose gets confuse about her sexuality (she went to collage when she was 8. I doubt she really could focus on that. I think she’s 18/19 when the season starts) and like she can’t really talk to any of her team about it so (let’s say hypothetically the Mystic force/operation overdrive) and Vida just pops up like “Like I understand you. We can talk about that.”

It ends up with Rose venting and Vida listening and it ends with Vida kinda just giving the “it’s fine” shrug and saying something reassuring like “You’re into who you’re into. It took me awhile to figure out I find both men and women attractive. My green ranger and yellow ranger also had a bit of hard time figuring it out too but we found out in the end and we”re happy. We have family and friends who supported us”
