This week we made history by triggering an on-the-record poll where legislators will have to say whether they support a special session on Stand Your Ground.
WE NEED YOUR HELP. Call your legislator. Tell them to#HaveTheDebate. Visit the page for a script and more information.
This movement only gets stronger.

Philadelphia: 100 people came out for a 'Justice for Trayvon Martin' forum sponsored by Workers World Party, July 23, 2013.
The panel included Ramona Africa of MOVE; Gabriel Bryant and Carla Harris, who both chaired Trayvon rallies last week; Patrice Armstead from Building Peoples Power; and Berta Joubert-Ceci and Betsey Piette of WWP. Charlotte Harris of the International Action Center chaired.
In addition to the panelists, around 20 other people spoke -- Black, Latina, Asian and white -- during an open mic. Most people stayed around after the program formally ended for smaller group discussion.
