All the literal other Shinobis in literally all the other hidden villages, but yeah let's keep calling Kakashi, the one Shinobi that disobeyed his superior's orders over and over again because he believed they were wrong THAT, the only Shinobi who refused to pass children who weren't ready as Ninjas to go die in missions and defied the Hokage for years about it not caring about being hated for it by anyone, when the first lesson he ever taught to his students was "Do not blindly obey the rules" and only passed them when they disobeyed him and chose what they believe is right over his orders, Kakashi, the only Hokage who did actual good changes to the village and the ninja world, like the "No kill policy", like cleaning the system from ROOT even tho that gained him so many enemies and like the exchange system he built between the Shinobi nations and more... Calling Kakashi "a state dog" simply wipes his entire character and personality and all the good he has done to paint him into a picture that doesn't even remotely represent him or who he is!!!

I feel you, its so bad 😭, I had to go on a functioning adult human schedule for school and good god, out the house by 7am... bad bitches are not built for that..

WE REALLY ARE... and man, I can brute force myself into any schedule if there are things that HAVE to be done at certain times (like school, like you said) but it absolutely never feels "right". it feels like waking up at 3am to go to the airport type of shit. and it is truly so annoying... to get hit with the "that's a Normal schedule, you need to Fix your schedule" okay. alright. but let me hit you with this one. is it "normal" or is it just conducive to a 8 - 5. because no matter what my sleep schedule is like, or how locked in I am, I'm more clear headed at night + more productive and energetic. and no matter what, I'm tired during the day, especially the brightest times of day when the sun is allegedly supposed to be signaling my brain to be awake and alert. and it doesn't matter how much sleep I got.

thinking about Julie going into hibernation, but also how she was participating in winter activities and was at the Homewarming party.

obv an in-universe excuse is writing inconsistency within the show but nahh. i wanna get sad.

My headcanon is that Julie begins hibernation after the Homewarming party. Right after. And later in the evening it turns into a different party, Julie's Goodnight Party (name in progress).

It's fun, because any party with this rainbow monster's name in it is gonna be fun! but there's an underlying somberness. They eat, play games and talk about everything and anything like the Homewarming party, but it just feels different.

When Julie starts getting sleepy, the party ends with her neighbors giving their farewells, goodnights, and big hugs.

Frank is the one to walk her home, of course. He brushes Julie's hair, makes sure her and her nest has everything she needs, and stays with her as she falls asleep. But not before they share a big, comforting, long hug filled with every unspoken "I'll miss you" and every ounce of love they can pour into it.

It's the longest Frank has ever hugged anybody. "A hug long enough to get him through winter," according to Julie.

He wished that were true.

Either way he smiles, he smiles for Julie as it's the last expression she sees before finally closing her eyes to sleep.

The tears that later soaked into his pillow are the only secret Frank's ever kept from his best friend.

I find it funny how the fandom begged for an edgy darker ppg, cause they did that with the ppg movie already and viewers and even Craig claimed it was TOO DARK

I think what he claimed was that he wished it was a little lighter and sillier, not so heavy the whole time, but I get why he made the movie more heavily action packed after seeing the merchandise skew the way of cutesy jewelry and fashion kits... so basically the other way that people misinterpret the show (...and, actually, after literal years of ruminating about that, I would probably consider writing a whole post about that whole phenomenon, but that's a whole 'nother topic for a whole 'nother day). I think darkness has its place, and stuff like gore does, too, but it is interesting how it seems that that certain subsection of the fandom just craves and begs for, like, all out misery and maliciousness and seriousness, no silliness, no levity, always, all the time. It's sort of creepy.
