A bicycle with an engine is commonly referred to as a motorcycle. This type of bike is equipped with a motor used to assist the rider while pedaling. These motors use electricity. The bikes engine may be smaller to help the rider propel the bike over difficult terrain. A large electric motor propels the bike over long distances. The bikes electricity is supplied by a rechargeable battery. Bicycles with motors for sale are only sold in very few countries such as Germany and China.

I am so confused about what that's supposed to...teach?
Is this about "Mortality is real"? Is this some "be careful in traffic" thing? Is this about prom?
Like, what is the occasion that so many schools apparently do that?
WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU AMERICAN EDUCATION SYSTEM?!!
#the most my school did was bicycle traffic safety lesson#which involved learning where to ride and to remember your helmet#and it happened in elementary school while these texts sound like middle or high school#I am so confused

The Rise of Nighttime Bike Rides in China
The Phenomenon of Nighttime Bike Rides in China The students would emerge on their bikes, in the tens of thousands, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. Like a flash mob on wheels, they rode for hours into the night, illuminated by the glow of streetlamps, occasionally bursting into verses of the Chinese national anthem. Some proudly carried Chinese flags, a symbol of their unity and spirit. They…

"TWO ON BICYCLE WRONG PRACTICE," Kitchener Record. May 14, 1934. Page 8. --- Police Asked To War On Habit Of Bike Riders Carrying Passenger ---- The practice of carrying a passenger or a bicycle either riding on the handle bars or on the seat with the driver peddling in front will result in some parents paying money into police court, Children's Aid Inspector Pullam informed The Record today. He stated he is asking the police to co-operate with the society by prosecuting all offenders found violating the law.
The Inspector stated that about 14 years ago, owing to the tragic death of a child on King street east, when riding on a bicycle with another boy. He fell off in front of a coal wagon and had his head crushed. A bylaw then was passed by the city forbidding more than one person on a bicycle. The provincial government subsequently took up the question and included It in the Highway Traffic Act.
The inspector stated there have been a number of boys noticed lately with young girls seated on the handlebars of their machines riding on the highway. The practice is so dangerous, the inspector said, that a drive will have to be made to impress it upon youngsters that In the interests of public safety it cannot be continued.

You might think that unicyclists and car people are mortal enemies. After all, cars have four (or more) wheels, and unicyclists make do with just one. Thing is, though, both of us are oppressed by the most powerful force in the universe: people who own bicycles.
In my city, we have lots of bike lanes. They're great! Bicyclists stay on them and I don't have to worry about driving over them every time my ball joint fails at trotting speed. Unfortunately, some of them have gotten mad at one-wheeled and three-wheeled conveyances in "their" lane. The law very clearly says "bicycle," one spandex-clad attorney claimed, and the city grudgingly agreed. Suddenly, the fuzz were out in force, ticketing circus performers and probably also whatever other kind of unicyclist is out there for daring to use the twos-only lane.
This meant that the unicyclists were forced back into traffic with me, the most important road user of all. While watching them weave frantically back and forth in the lane made me reminiscent of my own battles with wheel alignment and suspension geometry, I felt sad for watching someone so oppressed. Besides, they don't have any spare tires on that sucker, if they drove over a goat's head they'd be walking home. That's when it hit me.
No part of the law stated that a "bicycle" has to have both tires on the ground at the same time. With just a few dollars of advertising spend, and a surplus pile of heavily-corded 13" snow tires from my backyard, all the unicyclists were back in the bike lane. Sure, they looked kinda goofy riding around with a car tire wrapped around their waist, but it was enough to spook the cops into leaving them alone. And for me, I was finally able to once again enjoy being stuck in interminable car traffic without having to worry about driving over some guy who can't even afford handlebars. Sometimes, making people very angry is a reward in and of itself.

Matthew Tkachuk on friend, former teammate Johnny Gaudreau: ‘I’m going to keep his memory alive’
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Matthew Tkachuk, reigning Stanley Cup champion and prince of South Florida, was bouncing off the walls at the Baptist Health IcePlex on Tuesday. He delivered light cross-checks to his Florida Panthers teammates and led the pack in conditioning drills, and his mouthguard received its customary chomping.
It appeared to be business as usual for the young star who is always occupied with something, whether it be selling the sport in Florida or partying with the Stanley Cup all summer.
Right now, that might be for the best.
Tkachuk’s dream summer turned into a nightmare when he learned of Johnny Gaudreau’s death on Aug. 29.
Gaudreau and his brother, Matthew, were killed in a traffic crash in Oldmans Township, N.J., outside Philadelphia. Police said the brothers were riding bicycles when they were hit by a driver trying to pass an SUV on a two-lane road.
Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau played together for six seasons with the Calgary Flames, a couple of American kids taking western Canada by storm, often on the same line. The two left the Flames in the summer of 2022, Gaudreau signing as a free agent with the Columbus Blue Jackets, while Tkachuk was sent to the Panthers in a blockbuster deal.
Tkachuk, whose life has been a whirlwind for months, hasn’t had enough time to process Gaudreau’s death in the month since it happened.
“You put so much work into a season, that’s where all of your energy goes,” Tkachuk said. “Then you make the playoffs. You make the Final. And then, when it was over, we got to celebrate this summer. It was the greatest summer of my life, and some of the most incredible memories were made. But then, right at the end of this amazing summer, the unthinkable happened.”
Gaudreau took Tkachuk under his wing in Calgary, and a forever friendship was formed. Understandably, Gaudreau is on Tkachuk’s mind every day, but that was already the case long before Gaudreau was gone.
“Ever since I left Calgary and came to Florida, all I ever do is tell stories about Johnny,” Tkachuk said. “At one point, I was probably telling the guys down here a Johnny story once a week. I was always talking about him, about something funny he had done, something he had done in practice, whatever. He was the kind of guy that you could never get out of your mind, and I hated being away from him.”
Gaudreau and Tkachuk talked all the time after leaving Calgary, and while they badly missed playing together, they looked forward to having another opportunity to wear the same jersey and maybe even play on the same line.
The NHL 4 Nations Face-Off — a tournament among the United States, Canada, Finland and Sweden — will be in less than five months in Boston and Montreal. Then, in 2026, NHL players will return to the Olympics for the first time since 2014. Between the NHL balking at its season being delayed and COVID creating havoc with the 2021-22 schedule, NHL players have not participated in the Olympics for a decade.
“You have to understand that Johnny and I talked about being in the Olympics together a lot,” Tkachuk said. “In 2022, when they canceled us from being in the Olympics, we were so upset. We were both playing really well together in Calgary and we thought we were going to be so good in the Olympics. We talked about it all the time. That was a tough one. He had played for Team USA in so many big events, and I know it meant a lot to him. Obviously, we would have been together this time. It’s tough to think about right now. But I know he would have been excited for those tournaments and he will be on my mind during those times even more than he usually is.”
Tkachuk doesn’t require nor ask for any sympathy. He simply misses his friend.
“Trust me, I feel like I’m the luckiest guy in the NHL,” he said. “I get to play a sport that I love, and it’s my job. And I get to play it (in Florida), which, in my opinion, is the best place in the league. The lifestyle. The fans we’ve developed down here. The way our fan base is growing and growing every day. You wouldn’t want to be anywhere other than this place. It really is the best, and I’m so lucky to have this life. I came here to win a Cup. I looked at this group of guys and I knew it could be done. I knew something special could happen. I guess I was right.”
Tkachuk’s emotions will surely peak in a few weeks, when the Panthers play on Oct. 15 in Columbus for the Blue Jackets’ home opener. In lieu of typical opening night ceremonies, the Blue Jackets will honor the memory of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.
“I really haven’t thought about that night too much just yet,” Tkachuk said. “But I have a feeling that it’s going to be pretty tough to play that night. It’s not just me that’s feeling it, obviously. The whole league is feeling it right now. Anyone who knew him is feeling it even more.”
Tkachuk is busy preparing his Panthers for a chance to claim back-to-back championships. Dynasties aren’t much of a thing in the modern-day NHL, but the Panthers have won the Cup once, have been to the Final two years consecutively, and their core remains in its 20s.
“We can do something special,” Tkachuk said.
Even still, a small part of his mind remains focused on the international tournaments, where he’ll never get the chance to play with Gaudreau again. But he does have a chance to honor Gaudreau during those tournaments.
“It’s been a really, really, really tough few weeks,” he said. “I still can’t even believe it. It’s just so sad. All of it.”
While sitting and looking down at the Panthers practice facility, Tkachuk’s face alternates emotions, his mind churning.
“You know, the thing that’s getting me through this is those stories I was telling you about,” he said. “Those stories about him I tell all the guys constantly. I’m going to keep those stories with me forever and I’m going to keep his memory alive in everybody by continuing to tell those stories.”
He hopes to generate another story involving Gaudreau when the Olympics arrive.
“He would have been there and wearing that Team USA jersey meant a lot to him,” Tkachuk said. “It means a lot to me, too. When I’m there, he will be on my mind the whole time. Even more than usual. And I’ll be telling stories.”
#since it's paywalled i've decided to just copy the whole thing over so everyone can know how much matthew loved johnny#i am so sad#'i hated being away from him' 😭😭😭#johnny gaudreau#matthew tkachuk#matthewjohnny#2425

as usual @delzinrowe has my brain rotting at an exceptional rate
so let's talk about gojo and how he cannot drive
for the record, if gojo satoru wanted to drive, he could pick it up at anytime. he's gojo satoru after all, there's nothing he can't do, he's a god among humans.
but a god doesn't really need to learn how to drive.
as a youngster he always had people there to do that for him. at the mere snap of his fingers he had a ride to the candy shop. he likes to think he wasn't that much of a brat... but if his sweet tooth was particularly achey that day he might've gotten a bit of an attitude.
and as an adult, driving just wasn't a skill he deemed worthy of picking up. he could teleport anywhere he pleased without breaking a sweat. why waste his time with traffic and a stuffy car? besides, he loved to show off, and teleportation was just one of his many tricks.
so if you asked him, gojo satoru would tell you that he didn't need to learn to drive, he had much faster ways to get around.
that was, until (y/n) was giving him her address and the time of evening at which would be the best time to pick her up for their date, and satoru finds himself so blinded in his moment of gooey infatuation, that he agrees to her terms without thinking twice. it's not until she's walked back towards her classroom that his best friend and fellow colleague spawns next to him and points out his fatal flaw.
"and how exactly do you plan to pick her up, romeo?" geto suguru half purrs half sneers out the little comment, and it's obvious that gojo freezes up in that moment.
"suguru, can i borrow your c-"
"absolutely not"
and that's how he finds himself in this position. staring at the brand new sleek black car in his driveway with his hands on his hips and the shiny new keys to match clutched in his hand. he's been staring it down for a good ten minutes now, much to his kids' annoyance and impatience.
"well are you gonna drive it or not?" the spiky haired boy next to him huffs.
"don't rush me, brat" gojo huffs back with the same level of childish frustration.
"i'm sure you'll do fine," the boy's sweetheart of a sister counterpart chirps up. "you have a license, don't you? it'll be like riding a bicycle"
gojo's face twists into a sour wince, and now megumi and tsumiki are both staring up at him with wide apprehensive eyes.
"you don't have a license?" megumi barks out before his guardian could dish out some half-assed lie. "isn't it illegal to drive without-!?"
a large hand is slapped over the boy's mouth before he could finish berating the man, and gojo's baring his teeth in that grin that the kids know means he's up to bullshit.
"nonsense!" the white haired sorcerer practically cheers. "of course i have a license! i'm a phenomenal driver. i'm a phenomenal everything,"
megumi and tsumiki share a side eye that suggests they believe otherwise. gojo rolls his eyes and finally struts over to the driver's side door. those kids always believed the worst in him.
without another word, he plops in, sticks the key in the ignition, and tries not to startle as the car purrs to life and all the lights come flickering on.
he realizes in this moment that he's never even sat in the driver's seat of a real car.
but he's driven go karts with suguru and shoko many times, in high school- and even just last week when he begged them to.
the car groans at him when he tries to force a shift into reverse. it groans again when his foot taps the gas before settling on the break, and finally he' can move the's putting the car in reverse.
with a grin he glances out the window where the fushiguro siblings are still standing at the edge of the lawn, watching the whole ordeal with silent concern. he gives them a thumbs up before tapping the gas again.
his head is jerked forward as the car speeds backwards faster than expected, the needle on the speedometer flying towards the 10 before shooting back down when he slams on the left pedal again. it screeches to a halt before it could even enter the road, surely leaving a short streak of black on the otherwise clean driveway.
gojo winces, and dares a peek out the window. he's not surprised to find his kids with their hands clamped over their mouths. he gives them another, more sheepish, thumbs up.
well, maybe this was a bad idea, he starts to wonder as he checks the street behind him. there was little to no traffic right now, which made for the perfect time for a driver with only five minutes of a youtube tutorial for knowledge on the rules of the road to enter the roadway. and besides, nothing was going to keep him from going on this date.
so he puts the car in park before rolling down the window and leaning out to holler at the kids.
"keep the door locked and call uncle suguru if there's an emergency!"
"okay! have fun!" tsumiki's ever so present optimism is in full bloom as she smiles and waves at her guardian.
"he's not our uncle" megumi mutters with a roll of his eyes.
they stand on the lawn and watch as gojo slowly backs out of the driveway, hitting the brake every two seconds and jolting the car the whole way out. he's crooked in the street, and it takes him a second longer than the average driver to put it in drive and get going. even then, the kids stand and watch a few minutes longer as gojo intermittently taps the brake and gas, rolling forward only a few feet a minute.
"do you think he's gonna get arrested?" tsumiki asks her brother once he's turned off their street, still on his tap and go method.
"who knows," megumi replies. "but he's definitely losing the car"
"yeah, definitely"
by the time gojo actually pulls up to (y/n's) address- the car crooked in your empty driveway, he's certain that he's mastered driving with the past ten minutes of experience, and surely she'll be impressed.
obviously, he misses the way she tilts her head at his parking job, but she quickly shakes it off as she joins him in the car, too eager for their first proper date to question the angle of his car in her driveway.
he has to gush over how pretty she'd done herself up for the night for a good five minutes before they get moving, and that's when his true colors begin to shine.
forgetting that he wasn't properly pulled into the drive, he backs over the curb after a rush of gassing and braking in reverse. (y/n) may have delayed in buckling her seatbelt, but she's just as soon scrambling to grab the belt and snap it into place, clutching onto it as discreetly as possible.
when he sends a proud grin her way, she can't help but force a gentle smile back at him. he might still be tapping the brake an unnecessary amount of times as he cruises down the road, but she doesn't have it in her to question his ability- or lack thereof.
however, at the end of the night when he drops her off and they solidify their plans for a second date, she insists that she picks him up next time <3

New York Streets & Dreams
Harry Styles, a classic New York law firm grump meets a wild spirited girl, Y/N when he argues with her on a road intersection.
Grump!harry; a grump x sunshine trope.
warnings: mention of alcohol, swearing. Suggestive language.
The songs playing in your headphones pumped your head with a string of melodies. You hum with a smile on your face, riding your bicycle in the warm sun taking in the city around you. Your paint splattered hands, still a bit wet grip the bicycle handle as you steer it around the city.
You steer around the busy and bustling roads, whisked away in a world of your own. You paid no heed to the rushing cars, staying near the footpath. Many had often told you not to cycle, especially during rush hour since the streets would be jam packed. “Walking, driving or going in a cab isn’t the same as cycling y’know?” You’d always say when the question was risen as to why you cycle.
You were about to turn right when a series of honks stops you right in your path. You yank down your headphones harshly and look around, an annoyed look beginning to form on your face.
“You!”
You whip your head to meet that voice. You see a man, dressed in a blue blazer over a white shirt with trousers step down from his Mercedes, his face morphed into a furious expression.
“What?” You ask harshly, your bicycle still parked right in front of his car.
“Look around woman! I would’ve run you over.” He shouts at you over the loud traffic.
“I was on my side of the lane. You’re the one who decided last minute to take the turn!” You yell back with equal anger as you meet his steel gaze, your own unflinching.
“You had your headphones on! If you would’ve looked around, we wouldn’t be here!” He said, even more annoyed than before now.
“What do you want? You know what, I offer you my sincerest fucking apology! Leave me alone!” You said, your coloured hands flailing in the air.
“An apology? Thats not good enough. You need to be aware of your surroundings.” He countered, his arms crossing over his chest.
“And you need to chill out. It’s just a traffic jam!” You exclaimed, your voice a pitch higher.
“You don’t understand! I almost ran you over!” You were certain that the man in front was giving out literal smoke now.
“Yeah, well I’m still here so calm down.” You said sarcastically. Your hands come down and rest at either side of your hip.
“You’re unbelievable. I can’t do this.” He said, huffing out a breath of disbelief.
“Fine. Suit yourself.” You said shrugging as you sat on your bicycle. And began to cycle.
“Watch where you’re going!” The man yelled for the last time.
Harry checked his watch again and again, contemplating if going out with his friends was a good decision considering how his utter shit his day had been. He had reached his office late because of a mishap that involved him arguing with a pretty girl in between a traffic jam which earned him an earful from his colleagues.
He looked around the neon street, the coloured lights metling into the dark night sky above him. He wondered, when he was the last time he went out with friends. When was the last time he went just as Harry, not as a top shot lawyer? When was the last time he didn’t think about work?
He couldn’t remember.
“Harry! I’m so happy you made it!” Lindsey, smiled and encased him in a hug.
Lindsay had been begging Harry to join her and her friends since the last two months. Harry as always, had politely refused saying that his workload was far too much. However, Lindsey wasn’t short of surprise when Harry called her late this afternoon and said he wanted to join her.
“I’m only here so that I don’t have to deal with you for the next two months.” Harry said rolling his eyes playfully. Lindsey smacked his arm and dragged him in the club.
It was large semi circle couch nestled in the back corner with a mammoth sized round wood table fitted in it like a puzzle piece.
Lindsey dragged Harry all the way to the back of the club where he spotted a few familiar faces. All of them waved to Harry and Harry said to hi them.
“Where’s Y/N?” Lindsey asked as she slid onto the seat.
“In the washroom.” A friend, Niall said before downing a shot in one go earning an impressed looking from Harry in return.
“You’ll love Y/N.” Lindsey said, winking at Harry who was still standing. He only gave her a slight smile.
Harry was about to go to the washroom before a voice boomed, seeming quite familiar.
“You! Oh my God you’re stalking me!” You yelled at him, your face showing how furious you are. Everyone at the table stopped eating and drinking because all their focus was fixated on you.
“What the fuck!” Harry said, his eyes widening at the accusation you hurled at him.
“You try to kill me first and now that I’m alive even after your murder attempt, you decide to do the deed here.” You said, referring to his attempt at ‘mudering’.
“Are you stupid?” Harry asked you in utter disbelief.
“No but I have a gun!” You said, not realising that you hadn’t even brought your purse with you tonight.
“Yeah, well where is it then?” Harry asked you, crossing his arms as he eyed you up and down like a predator assessing his prey.
“It’s none of your business!” You yell at him, realising that he caught you lying red handed. You size him up, your arms crossing over your chest.
“So I guess you two have met already. Harry this is Y/N, Y/N this is Harry.” Lindsey murmured from her side of the table, the overhanging lamp illuminating only a small part of her face.
“For the record, you and I know both know I didn’t try to kill you.” Harry said, his eyebrows raised as a wary look danced in his eyes.
“Fine.” You said.
“Great now that’s over, let’s get this party started!” Niall yelled, with excitement as the whole table broke out in a couple of hoots.
As the night proceeded, you downed drink after drink and danced like there would be no tomorrow. The lights flashing around you merged into your skin. The music blaring around you was pumping life into you.
In the corner of your eye, you see Harry who was leaning against the wall, a drink that he had been drinking for the past half hour still in his hand as he looked around with a bored look etched on his face. You walk toward him, your steps much more confident now because of a few drinks you had.
If your circumstance wasn’t so compelling you might have thought Harry to be quite an attractive man. You could make out the sculpted muscles of his biceps and abdomen through his shirt.
Harry watched you intently, drinking in your frame with every movement of yours. He didn’t fail to notice how wondrous your body looked in that little white dress you paired with a metal chain waist belt which had blue stones engraved on it, resting on the swell of your hips.
“You look as if you’re at a funeral.” You snickered, coming to stand close to him. Your forearms touch and you feel your focus narrow to the sparks of fire you felt coming from there.
Harry let his lips show a sliver of smile, a chuckle coming out of him.
“Ah well I’m not really in the mood to dance or party tonight.” Harry said shrugging slightly.
“What! You’re at a club, with such amazing people. Come on, if you’re not gonna dance on your own then dance with me.” You said smiling at him as your turn your face to look at him, admiring how the dancing lights accentuated his eyes and upraised cheekbones and his plush lips.
“You’re drunk, arent ya?” Harry asked you.
“It takes me more than three sleazy drinks to get drunk.” You said patting his arm.
“Well, I can’t really dance.” Harry said, evidently stalling like a five year old.
“It’s about having fun Harry.”
Those words somehow snapped a leash on Harry which he didn’t know existed. You extended your hand towards him that he gladly took.
Harry never knew he could have that much fun. He danced all night with you, drinking to his hearts content and screaming every song that played, even the ones he swore he’d never listen, ‘stupid pop music’ he called those same songs.
His hands were on your waist now and you broke out in a string of giggles, the alcohol in your system heightening every feeling. Harry looked at you and marvelled at your face, how pretty it looked and smiled at you softly drawing you closer to him.
“If you hadn’t tried mudering me this morning, I would’ve called you handsome y’know.” You said flicking his nose.
“I’m sorry. It wasn’t my intention to murder you.” Harry said smiling.
“God, you’re so handsome Harry.”
Harry woke up with a groan as he clutched his head. He looked around and found himself in a room he couldn’t recognise. There were sun catchers hanging from the large window which was installed, as large as a wall casting sparkles all over the room. There were plush colourful stuff toys strewn all over the orange couch opposite to the bed he found himself in. He looked over and saw you sleeping.
The sight of you alone nearly knocked out his breath.
You slowly you open your eyes and once the realisation hits, you scramble out of the bed, looking at yourself and then Harry. You were in an oversized tee shirt of yours while Harry was in a pair of boxers.
“Did we?” You ask him, standing barefoot at your wooden floor.
“No, we were too out of it.” Harry said looking at you.
“Oh thank God.” You sighed, your shoulders slumping. “Wait, it’s not like I don’t want to do it with you, seriously don’t take it that way-”
“Hmmm.” Harry hummed, clearly amused with your state of chaos.
“I dont want to do it with you if we’re like.. drunk and all. I’d rather be stone cold sober.” You said.
“I’ll keep that in mind Y/N.” Harry said chuckling.
“Oh my God I’ll just shut up.” You said, covering your face with your hand.
Harry looked at the time and got up, stretching. You avoided the urge to look at his sculpted arms, chest and stomach but you managed to sneak in a few glances.
“I’ve got a case to prepare for. I’ll text you in a few.” Harry said as he buttoned his white shirt.
“You don’t have my number.” You said.
“But Lindsey does.” Harry said shrugging.
He wore his trousers and grabbed his stuff. Before leaving he ran a hand over your hair playfully. He then snaked an arm around your waist and tugged you towards him. You bit down a gasp at the sudden movement and closeness that was now there.
“I’d kiss you if i wasn’t so late for work.” Harry said.
“Are you making excuses Harry?” You said, peering up at him as you rested your hands on his chest.
“I’m waiting for the right moment Love.” He said.
He dipped his head and kissed the corner of your lips. He slowly moved his lips over yours. You could feel them hovering over yours. You could imagine and feel how kissing him would be like, sparks running down your bones and veins.
“I’ll see you.” Harry said, kissing your cheek before leaving for work.
You felt yourself melt into a puddle of emotions and glitter as you sank to the floor with a youthful smile on your face.
Harry, in all his corporate glory was late to pick you up tonight. Meaning, he had no time to change his clothes which is why he stood at your door, in his black trousers and ruffled white shirt, a single rose he plucked from his office garden dangling from his hand.
Harry most positively hated everyone. He hated large crowds. He hated too much colour. He’d rather live life in black and white but you brought about a change. A change dripping with colours and laughter and undiluted joy.
He rang your doorbell which was splattered with coloured fingerprints, probably yours.
“Hi.” You said, emerging out of the apartment which was installed above your art studio where you took classes and painted by yourself.
“You look beautiful.” Harry said, as you dressed up in a short white satin skirt which you paired with a yellow top. Your cowboy boots clicked with every step.
“You look like… you came straight from work.” You said chuckling.
“That’s because I did.” Harry said as he handed you over the single rose, already whitering.
“Cute.” You said.
———————
Harry looked around the restraunt, sitting opposite to you. It hadn’t occurred to him how silent and how much of a grump he had been all evening. You observed him silently, waiting for a sliver of conversation to appear between you two.
“Get up.” You said, breaking Harry out of his daze.
“What?”
“Did I stutter? Here’s my half of the bill, give yours and let’s get the hell out of here.” You said callinh a waiter, giving her half as you waited for Harry. He handed her his half as well and stood up and followed her out.
———————
Harry had no clue you bring him here out of all the places he could think of. You handed over Harry his rollerskates, a devious smile on your face.
“No.” He said, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked around the skating rink, purple lights flashing all over his face.
“Come on, don’t be a sour sport.” You said lacing your shoes.
“We could have had a nice dinner-”
“Not with you ignoring me all night Harry.” You shot back before he could finish his sentence. “I don’t know what was bothering you but now we’re here. You’ll only have fun if you let go.” You added gently.
“Fine.” Harry said as he laced his shoes and stepped into a rink.
Harry holds your hand as you guide him, picking up pace gradually. You smile at him as you leave his hand and circle around him, twirling like a small child. You let out a laugh as Harry yanks to his side, almost making you two fall down on the ground.
“Harry!” You squeal as his hand reaches your waist and pulls you towards him.
“What?” He asks, feigning innocence, gliding with you effortlessly. You jab his side causing him to let go. You poke your tongue at him and skate away backwards, your eyes at him.
Harry tries to skate as fast as you but ends up almost tripping. “Come here Y/N!” He says, from one end his face full of joy.
You slowly glide towards him and interlace your hands with his. You pull him towards yourself this time and rest your arms on his neck, a smile on his lips at your movement.
“You look very beautiful tonight Love.” Harry said, an idle coming to rest at the curve of your back.
“You happened to mention it earlier.” You said blushing.
Harry looked at you and realised how much you meant to him. He realised that he in fact didn’t how to have fun or let loose before he met you. Hell, he’s even rollerblading with you. Harry felt free. Harry felt himself. Harry felt at home.
And perhaps that’s why he kissed you.
His hand reached out, cupping your cheek while the other reached the nape of your neck. His touch sent shivers down your spine. And there it was, without a word he kissed.
Harry kissed you and the world slowed down.
In that moment, all colours merged into one. Your focus narrowed down to the entirety of the kiss and how it felt to move your tongue against his, savouring him slowly and sinfully.
Harry pulled away and looked into yours. His being a pool of utter joy and happiness. He picked you up slightly, sounds of laughter of coming out of the two of you.
“It’s the Rollerblading, I tell ya.” Harry said smiling.
You were sitting in your art studio all by yourself when the bell rang. You found it peculiar since you had no classes scheduled today. You wiped your hands off a towel and opened the door to see Harry, dressed in normal clothes for the first time in months.
You and Harry had been meeting on and off for a quite a while now. Kissing him, cuddling him, simply staying with him brought you happiness and same was for harry. You saw him open up to new things like dancing in the rain, going to McDonalds at midnight, screaming songs and appreciate life.
“How can I help you today?” You ask him, your arms coming to rest at either shoulder as he pulled you in and kissed you hard and slow.
He pulled away and shifted on his feet.
“What’s wrong?” You asked him as you sat back on your seat and began finishing your painting.
Harry fished out a piece of paper and started reading, a smile of amusement on your face.
“Y/N, you’re the reason I feel no shame in singing at the top of my lungs or at skinny dipping late night. You make me live. And I know I’m not what you want and I know I’m an arrogant son of a bitch but the minute I saw you at the intersection, I knew was I fucked. So-” Harry stopped mid way, crumbled the letter and looked at you, his gaze unflinching as he asked, “Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes. A thousand times yes.” You said as you ran over to him, your painted hands grabbing his face as you kissed him with all your might.

Hi YuuRei! How are you?
In terms of the students in the main cast, the only ones I know that have a driver’s license canonically would be mostly Leona, but also Lilia, sort of. (It is expired if I recall correctly). I couldn’t help but notice that it is likely that people in Twisted Wonderland don’t really need a permit or license to operate a Magical Wheel? It certainly is interesting since it is kind of like a motorcycle. Thank you!
Hello hello! Thank you very much for this question, I never expected it to be such a rabbit hole! ^^
⚠️Tamashna Muina Spoilers below!⚠️ (and technically above 💦)
It does seems possible that Lilia's license has expired, but also possible that he never had one in the first place? He does not seem to be able to remember!
The revelation of Leona's driver's license was a fascinating one because, as you say, Deuce has been riding Magical Wheels since middle school, somewhere between the ages of 13 and 15 years old!
Epel says he had a neighbor who would take him out for rides back home, but in his dorm vignette he says he has "always wanted to ride" one, implying that the opportunity from Vil to drive one for the Film Club was possibly his first time ever driving on his own--with nothing about licenses ever mentioned!
We get a vague explanation about how magical wheels work in Book 5 from a bully who says that, while you can drive a magical wheel without magic, he just happens to have enough magic to work one.
They have technomantic batteries to power them but those seem to be meant as back-ups: they are designed to be powered at least partially by magic.
And this is very reminiscent of certain road traffic laws that exist in Japan! :>
As explained here, "vehicles" like electric bicycles must, by law, have an "assistance" function in Japan (such as pedal power) to keep them from being 100% motorized.
If your electric bicycle does not require pedaling then it is no longer considered a bicycle--it is an automobile--and you will need a license in order to ride it.
And this does not only apply to bicycles, but other electric modes of transportation such as electric scooters and skateboards!
(I know someone with an electric skateboard imported from overseas who keeps the remote control stealthily in a pocket so as not to be caught 👀 It is more than an "electric assistant", it is 100% electric, which classifies the skateboard as an automobile under the law!)
Things are changing recently, with an alteration to the law in 2023 (seen above, full article here) to allow people to ride electric kick scooters for businesses such as rental services.
Until July 2023, though, even electric scooters required a driver's license, as they are 100% motorized--and maybe the same thing is being applied to magical wheels?
Is it possible that magical wheels are legal to drive without licenses because they are not 100% electric and require magical assistance, just like assisted bicycles that require pedaling? 🧐
Except!
When Riddle balks at being asked to drive a chariot in Book 6 a STYX staff member explains that they maneuver just like blastcycles. Riddle responds with, "I should've taken taken driving lessons and gotten a technomantic vehicle license," so maybe blastcycle licenses actually are a thing? 🧐
Except "technomantic vehicle" might be implying vehicles like the chariot that are 100% technomantic power and not Magical Wheels, which integrate magic! Do they not technically count, much like partially-pedal-powered electric bicycles?
Riddle comments, "Then again, this IS private property. Maybe I don't have to worry about (a driver's license)."
Do maybe the laws vary by country? Was hooligan-Deuce illegally driving those blastcycles in middle school, or are laws more lax in the Queendom of Roses (Riddle's reaction would lead one to believe otherwise ww), or does the Queendom not consider them automobiles at all?
Is Epel able to drive that blastcycle on campus (and with Vil's encouragement) because NRC is private property? Was Deuce breaking the law when he took Epel off campus, or are blastcycles treated like electric bicycles on Sage's Island?
While magical wheel-specific licenses do technically exist, they were a product of an April Fool's campaign and are probably not supposed to be considered canon to the game ^^
Twst once had a delightful theme of introducing magical-wheel-inspired content for April Fool's!
While the theme seems to have been discontinued from 2024, the 2022 video that was created for JP-server players has been translated here!
And here is an explanation of the content from 2023!
The 2023 campaign included not only the physical magical wheel driver's license for prefects (with a purchase of a magical wheel tape dispenser), but also a magical wheel for the guest room, while the 2022 campaign included a title that you can use in the game: Magical Wheel License! ^^
The EN-server has never acknowledged April Fool's and it is unclear if items such as the title or the guest room furniture (a magical wheel in 2023 and a TV in 2024 that plays the Absolutely Beautiful performance first screened at Twst Fes) will ever reach on EN, but maybe one day!

Hi, Are you interested in cycling? If you do, then you’re in the right spot let’s talk about them shall we?
But, what is Cycling?
Cycling is a physical activity that involves riding a bicycle for transportation, recreation, or sport. It is characterized by the use of pedals to propel the bike forward, typically requiring coordination between the legs and upper body to maintain balance and control. Cycling offers numerous benefits, both physical and mental. Physically, it enhances cardiovascular fitness, strengthens muscles, and improves flexibility and coordination. Regular cycling can help manage weight, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and promote overall health. Mentally, cycling can reduce stress, boost mood, and provide a sense of freedom and adventure, often allowing individuals to connect with nature and their surroundings.
As for my experience it was really fun,. I ride with my uncle, and my friends, I suddenly reached a total of 472.km in 3 months. Riding with my bicycle took me everywhere, also cycling helps me forget my problems, and also cycling helps relieve stress. My furthest I’ve gone is Tagaytay that distance is 100.96km it was tiring but fun. The app i used to record my bicycle journey was “STRAVA” this app used to track your activities, heart rate, route, distance, and etc. if you want to try it out here’s the link https://www.strava.com. Strava is a popular fitness tracking app and social network designed primarily for cyclists and runners. It allows users to record their workouts using GPS technology, track their performance over time, and connect with other athletes.
Cycling with friends refers to the practice of riding bicycles in a group, typically for recreation, fitness, or social interaction. This activity allows participants to enjoy the camaraderie of shared experiences while exploring different routes, landscapes, and terrains together. Then cycling with friends makes the ride even more fun, encourages social bonding, and allows for shared enjoyment of the outdoors. Cycling with friends is important because it enhances the overall experience of the activity by fostering motivation, support, and social connection.
Here are some helpful tips for cycling, whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve your skills:
1. Choose the Right Bike:
Select a bike that suits your riding style (road bike, mountain bike, gravel bike and etc.) and ensure it’s the right size for you.
2. Wear Proper Gear:
Invest in a good-quality helmet for safety.
Wear moisture-wicking clothing and padded shorts for comfort.
Use cycling shoes if you have clipless pedals.
3. Maintain Your Bike:
Regularly check tire pressure, brakes, and gears.
Clean and lubricate the chain to ensure smooth operation.
4. Plan Your Route:
Familiarize yourself with the terrain and traffic conditions.
Use cycling apps or maps to find safe and scenic routes.
5. Stay Hydrated:
Carry water and take regular breaks to drink, especially on long rides.
6. Practice Good Cycling Etiquette:
Signal your intentions to other cyclists and motorists.
Ride in a straight line and be aware of your surroundings.
7. Start Slowly:
If you’re new to cycling, begin with shorter rides and gradually increase your distance and intensity.
8. Work on Your Technique:
Focus on maintaining a steady cadence and proper posture to avoid strain.
Practice shifting gears smoothly to adapt to varying terrains.
9. Ride with Friends:
Group rides can be more enjoyable and provide motivation and safety in numbers.
10. Listen to Your Body:
Pay attention to how you feel. Rest if you’re fatigued, and don’t push through pain.
Using this tips make's your cycling journey more smooth, also my advice for beginners is start in short rides, focus on technique, invest in gears, basic maintenance, discuss your routes, stay hydrated, and most important be humble. Because when my first time in cycling with my friend's the first thing we do is boasting contest, because your not filipino without it, So when we took are first ride in the vermosa road we challenged ourselves to the limit, the challenge was the first who stop will do the consequence, after the loop i was the first one to stop then i used to take 10 pushups in a row without stop, it was tiring but fun.
That's all
Always ride safe! and take care.

Trying to get to know Adam better was part of an effort by Charlie to make them friends. Lucifer made the mistake of asking Adam what some of his favourite songs and bands were to do just that. He’d been talking for about twenty minutes about bands, songs, or maybe even technical jargon Lucifer didn’t understand enough to know the difference between the three when Adam went, “and you just fucking know I love a good 1812 Overture.”
“What?” Lucifer was pulled from his confusion by the one music piece he could recognize. “You like the 1812 Overture?”
“Well duh. They use a fucking canon. Hardcore as shit.”
“You know they’re playing that this weekend at an opera house a few cities over. Real canons. I have a permanent box there, we could go-“
“Fuck, yeah!” Adam practically jumped out of his seat in excitement.
Unlike the drive, that answer was quick. Lucifer had been planning on thinking about going. He used to go with Lilith and she always liked to make the most of the trip instead of portalling or teleporting. A little weekend vacation, just the two of them.
It was an impulse to ask Adam. Now Lucifer was committed. Of course, it would feel good to go to a show again. He hadn’t been up to it but he couldn’t imagine not making the most of it. Maybe doing some things he’d always wanted to do, but he just never got around to.
“Did you want to get dinner first?”
“You buying?”
Lucifer almost made a comment about Adam being a mooch when he remembered, Adam didn’t have a normal job. He helped out around the hotel but that didn’t net him much pocket money. Adam had to actually budget his money to buy crap like clothing or meals outside of the hotel.
“It’s on me. There’s a place I’ve been dying to try that I’m told makes a mean steak.”
Adam grinned and nodded, “yeah, sure then. Do you know the times? Charlie was asking me about some replanting that needs to be done along the pathway and I was going to get to it this weekend.”
“I’ll look it up and send you the information. Then we can decide when a good time for me to pick you up would be.” Lucifer frowned for a moment. The city was a good three hours drive. “Maybe we should spend the night there. It’s a bit of a long trip. I have an apartment in the city we can stay in.”
Looking less sure now, Adam asked. “How long of a trip is it?”
“Three hours, but more depending on traffic. We could probably just take the town car. I haven’t driven in a while but I’m sure it’s like riding a bicycle.”
“I dunno. I really was looking forward to fixing up the flowers along the pathway.”
Lucifer didn’t want to have to drive back in the middle of the night. The 1812 Overture was part of a whole showcase of classics and the other times he’d gone it didn’t end until eleven at least. After dropping Adam off, he wouldn’t get home until like two thirty maybe three before he got to bed. But if they stayed in the city they could drop the car off at the apartment, take a cab around, maybe get a nightcap, and be in bed by midnight. He wouldn’t have to deal with city parking.
He could still just teleport them, open a portal even. But, he was kinda looking forward to a bit of guys trip. Adam could play his music in the car. They could get shitty road snacks they’d regret later. If they stayed up afterwards or decided to get drunk off their asses they didn’t have to worry about trying to teleport when he was drunk. They could just hail a cab.
“I make a killer stack of pancakes. Breakfast will be on me. Name how you like them and I’ll have the ingredients delivered to the apartment.”
That seemed to temp Adam into it, “aw fuck, why not? Sure. Send me the time and I’ll see what I can do about the plants this week instead. I better go talk to Charlie about what she wants done and get to it.” Adam left with a quick, later, over his shoulder and Lucifer was pleased.
They’d made great process in getting along. They were even going to a show that weekend.
‘This will be fun.’
He was barely to the door when Alastor slinked out of a shadow. “Planning an outing with the first man, are we?”
“We, are not. I am. And it’s none of your concern.” Lucifer went to brush past the asshole when Alastor’s staff swung out to stop him.
“I merely desired to wish you well on your date.” Alastor grinned wider and Lucifer knew he was up to something. “So, I hope it goes well. Very well indeed.” He melted back into the shadows and Lucifer wanted to take a shower just from being in that freak’s presence.
“‘I merely desired to wish you well on your date’.” Lucifer mocked for the empty room. “As if. As if he was want to wish me well on a date.”
…
…
…
“Wait. DATE?!”

Three times this week I rode my bike downtown to work.
In a lifetime of bicycling I've run 8,412 stop signs and 1,204 red lights, as of last night. But never do I blow through an intersection expecting cross traffic to yield to me. I have seen some bicyclists and skateboarders do that but haven't seen one turned into road jelly. Yet. If I don't stop or slow down I at least make sure I don't affect someone else. FAFO isn't something I want to try.
Occasionally drivers approaching me see that I want to make a left turn (because I entered a left turn lane, stopped for oncoming traffic, and signaled my intention). Though they arrived first at the intersections they waived for me to go first. Play nicely, get treated nicely, I guess.
Yesterday on the way home I stopped at the brewery and met Sheila. The food truck was a pizza place we don't care for. The pizzas have an outrageously bad crust to toppings ratio. Unsurprisingly, our dogs love this pizza truck because they get a ton of crusts that Sheila and I won't eat.
Knowing I'd be hungry for something else, Sheila packed her lunch box for me. Honeycrisp (my favorite) apple slices, string cheese, slices of summer sausage, cherry tomatoes and crackers. It was a nice little charcuterie board at the bar.
After riding home I'm in a good mood. And not even because I stopped for beer. I love riding through the city, seeing everything and getting exercise.
I've been thinking about the benefits and costs of bike commuting.
Getting exercise is good. Not paying for gasoline or parking saves money. I feel smug pedaling down a bike lane, passing cars stopped in afternoon traffic or construction.
But when I ride I take two showers a day, one at the office before work and second one when I get home. Biking clothes in the morning and daytime work clothes will need laundering. If it's one of these cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon days, like today, There's even more laundry. I don't wear my work clothes in the evening so there's yet another outfit. My water and Tide pod usage goes way up compared to when I work at home.

For years ARMYS have been victimizing bts group. About how the industry treats them, about how other kpop labels treat them, about how other idols treated them, about how their own government treats them....
Solos aren't doing anything different there, they learnt it from armys.
Infantilizing and victimizing grown ass bts men is also what armys do.
Look even now you'll victimizing Suga, like it's the police's fault that they fined him for violating traffic rules riding a scooter drunk and falling off it. "No one got hurt". Okay so? "The govt said this, govt did that". Okay so? He still broke the rule and he just got fined.
Armys need to start treating and respecting them as grown ass adults first before preaching to others.
Well not every one can be objective all the time. And these are solo stans so obviously their bias level would be through the roof.
Like I don't understand are you mad that they are defending Suga?? I would defend him too if people wanna take it too far and tear into him for this just because.
The point of calling someone out is so they do the right thing and fix their mess not traumatize them, dehumanize them deplatform them and drive them to the edge of suicide. People like to disguise their hatred under constructive criticism.
He issued a statement taking accountability for his actions rather than staying silent posting thirst traps, posting photos of him and other members and using his band and his band mates to cover up his mess.
We all misjudge situations all the time and sometimes we think it's a good idea to run naked to the front lawn to pick a cord we dropped cos it's the middle of the night and everyone is sleeping but then people's cctv's got your naked ass with leather all over and now people are sharing it on social media 🥲
What matters is what we do after we've messed up and that man has set the tone right. He is not making excuses for his actions.
Plus two things can be true at once. He can be a grown man and the government can have a vendetta against him and his company.
We just happy he didn't get hurt and no one got hurt and he perhaps have to be more careful cos drinking and driving is crazy, even if it's a scooter or bicycle 😵
And I know it can feel dismissive when people won't even acknowledge when they've done something wrong just because they like them.
But at the same time I feel because people hate him they capitalize on his messes and his flaws to break him down.
So I think what he did was wrong, its nice that he's taken accountability for it and people trying to use this to drag the shit out of him or cancel him need to fuck off too
