A frosty morning so two brews before we managed to get the wheels turning, and then a stop at the first cafe we found for a third. A few stiff climbs through oak woods up, traversing over limestone plateaus before descending down into the agricultural bowl around Burgos.
Additional warm clothes and supplies were needed so we made a beeline through the city for Decathlon and Lidl. We followed an old railway route out and found ourselves a camp spot by a small chalk stream, under rustling poplars.

Six-hour bicycle tour around Tokyo
A bicycle tour is one of the best ways to explore Tokyo's vibrant and bustling streets. In this guide, we will suggest some of the best places to visit during your 6-hour bicycle tour of Tokyo.
First on our list is the Imperial Palace. This palace was once the residence of the Emperor of Japan and is now a popular tourist destination. The palace grounds are surrounded by a moat and feature beautiful gardens and ancient ruins. The palace is particularly beautiful during the cherry blossom season when the trees are in full bloom.
Next, we recommend a visit to the Meiji Shrine. This shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shoken, and is a symbol of Japan's transition from feudalism to modernity. The shrine is surrounded by a forested park, making it a peaceful oasis in the middle of the bustling city. The park is particularly beautiful during the autumn months when the leaves change colors.
Another must-see destination in Tokyo is the Asakusa District. This district is known for its traditional architecture and old-world charm. It's a great place to stroll around and take in the atmosphere of old Tokyo. The district is home to the famous Sensoji Temple, one of the oldest and most significant Buddhist temples in Tokyo. The temple features a towering gate, a main hall, and a five-story pagoda. The streets leading up to the temple are lined with traditional shops and food stalls selling everything from souvenirs to street food.
For a glimpse into modern Tokyo, we recommend a visit to the Shibuya District. This district is known for its fashion, music, and nightlife and is particularly popular with young people. The district is home to the famous Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest intersections in the world. The crossing is surrounded by towering skyscrapers, neon lights, and bustling crowds. It's a great place to people-watch and take in the energy of Tokyo.
If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, we recommend a visit to the Yoyogi Park. This park is located in the heart of Tokyo and is a popular spot for picnics, jogging, and people-watching. The park is home to the Meiji Jingu Shrine, one of the most popular shrines in Tokyo. The shrine is surrounded by a forested park, making it a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city.
Finally, we recommend a visit to the Odaiba District. This district is located on a man-made island in Tokyo Bay and is known for its futuristic architecture and entertainment options. The district is home to several shopping malls, a Ferris wheel, and the famous Rainbow Bridge. The bridge is particularly beautiful at night when it is lit up with colorful lights.
In conclusion, a bicycle tour is a great way to explore Tokyo's vibrant streets and unique neighborhoods. With our guide, you can create a 6-hour tour that will give you a glimpse into the rich history and modernity of Tokyo. Whether you're interested in ancient temples and shrines or modern architecture and entertainment, Tokyo has something for everyone.

A bicycle with an engine is commonly referred to as a motorcycle. This type of bike is equipped with a motor used to assist the rider while pedaling. These motors use electricity. The bikes engine may be smaller to help the rider propel the bike over difficult terrain. A large electric motor propels the bike over long distances. The bikes electricity is supplied by a rechargeable battery. Bicycles with motors for sale are only sold in very few countries such as Germany and China.
