Изучала совершенно другую информацию, которая никак не связана с Depeche Mode. И вдруг наткнулась на фотографию Ричарда Блейда (Richard Blade) с Мартином и Дейвом. Не думаю, что это редкая фотография. Тем не менее, пусть будет тут!

Любопытные у ведущих футболки! Наверняка, просто использовали данную символику и слоган Revolutionize Your Ears (в том числе это использовал KROQ). Под этой символикой я имею в виду знаменитый агитационный плакат 1920-х годов "Ты записался добровольцем?" (Poster “Have You Signed up as a Volunteer?” by Dmitry Moor) художника Дмитрия Моора (полное имя - Дмитрий Стахиевич Орлов). На нем изображен красноармеец в буденовке.

Наверняка, они не интересовались подробно историей советского революционного плаката. А зря! Там очень много интересных сюжетов, подходов.

Но, безусловно, те годы уже совершенно другое время, и эта атрибутика становилась частью моды. Мода или актуализирует смыслы или поглощает эти смыслы, и тогда содержание не играет существенную роль. По-разному бывает. Это целая большая тема для разговора или дискуссии, конечно. Меня не туда занесло :D

Но на самом деле я еще хотела обратить внимание на Мартина и Дейва - два брата акробата! И разные, и одинаковые! Эта фотография ближе к рубрике общий или одинаковый гардероб. Вообще, интересная, хорошая фотография!

Actors I want to see play vampires in something because I love bloodsuckers

Sebastian Stan - The Covenant is what made me think this initially. Hearing that (at one point at least) he wanted to be Dracula and tried using the fact that he's Romanian to make it happen just makes me smile. There's fanart, fanfiction, manips, and AMVs that help me know that I'm not alone in this line of thinking.

Mads Mikkelsen - Did you know that he's actually in a vampire movie? He's not a vampire from what I can tell, he's a vampire hunter, but that's still something to think about. It's called Nattens engel (or, Angel of the Night) from 1998. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was also in this movie. Speaking of which....

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would be a good vampire in something. Tell me I'm wrong. He has the charisma for it.

Adam Driver - Hear me out! Look at him in The Last Duel, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, and the poster for Hungry Hearts if you don't agree, and then get back to me. He's big, he's sexy, he's got that nice deep purr of a voice, and the Reylos agree that's why there's already art and fanfiction of it! Somebody please give me Adam Driver Dracula I'm begging you!!!

Eva Green - Stop giving me Eva Green witches and give me a bloodsucker! She. Would. Slay. That. Shit.

Cara Delevingne - It's the eyes that do it for me.

Abbey Lee (Kershaw) - I don't want to profile, but look at her. Tall, sexy, scary, she's perfect!

Oscar Isaac - Annihilation convinced me. And the little bit of The Card Counter I saw. And the little bit of Big Gold Brick. And a really good chunk of Moon Knight. Look, just trust me. I know what I'm talking about.

I like my vampires to walk that perfect line between sexy and scary. If you disagree, you're wrong. Simple as that. And here are my favorite examples just to prove my point.

I have more examples. A lot more. But only thirty pictures are allowed per post and I wanted a structure. Sexy/scary vampires are the best vampires. I love the scary ones, I love the sexy ones, but the ones that can be both are perfect.

Pitch for a one-off, MCU movie/miniseries: “The League of Losers”

Plot:

The Beyonders are omnipotent beings who exist in the Beyond-Realm, which is located outside of the Marvel Multiverse. These all-powerful beings observe the events of the multiverse and, from time to time, conduct experiments in their own constructed dimension known as Battleworld. For their experiments, they periodically pull characters from the multiverse and put them in Battleworld to see how they’ll react to the scenarios they come up with.

Two Beyonders - let’s call them A and B - have just finished observing the events of “Deadpool and Wolverine”. The two are fascinated by how Deadpool was able to redeem the supposed worst version of Wolverine to exist in the entire multiverse. Curious to see if they can recreate Wolverine’s redemption arc, the two Beyonders form an experiment.

The experiment is that they will gather/kidnap the supposed worst versions of established Marvel superheroes and put them in a situation that requires them to work as a team (hence, the League of Losers). Beyonder A believes that, when push comes to shove, the team will come together as one unit and save the day. Beyonder B is more pessimistic, believing that the team will fall apart because of their numerous flaws and differences from their more respected variants.

And the result is…Beyonder B is proven right.

The reason why this is a one-off is that the entire team fails to save the day because they fell apart. This is less of a superhero team-up and more of a cautionary tale of what would happen if the worst of the worst were brought together and told to get along. In the end, Beyonder A hypothesizes that perhaps the reason why the “worst” Wolverine redeemed himself was because he had Deadpool and X-23 by his side. That even though Wolverine chose to redeem himself, he only did so because Deadpool put him on the path of redemption and X-23 believed in him.

So…yeah. Kind of a dark movie/miniseries, about the same tone as the darkest episodes of the first season of “What If…?”
