yall i had this dream where i apparently got a squip before i started dreaming but i didnt pay for it so the girl i got it from messaged me to meet her somewhere to pay her and i was fully considering just booking it when i was in my car but i somehow accidentally went on the highway that was packed as fuck by the way i was bumping cars left and right. you know those pinball machines i felt like i was in those i was like dinging around and driving sideways from the passenger seat somehow (like door first sideways) when i got onto the highway i crawled over the center console to the drivers seat. and THEN i got to the place i was meeting the girl it was like some sort of mall but the entrance was under a highway it was weird. anyways the girl gets in my car and this box of donut english biscuit thing with pink glaze like the stereotypical cops have appeared on the center console. and then i woke up so i dunno if i ever paid the 300 dollars

ANWAYS all that to say i told my friends about the dream which lead to me explaining what a squip was which then lead to an hour long explanation about this stupid fucking show while we played bedwars. somehow during that hour i forgot to mention eminem dies so now im trying to explain why hes important to the plot

I’m sorry this took me so long! Even after collecting all the clips, it was just really tedious to organize them and list them, and at one point I accidentally closed the app without saving so I lost a ton of progress. Plus, I’ve just been kinda busy. But! It’s here now!

5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?

Okay. There's a few:

The one I've been sitting on the longest is one I called Be More Enhanced. It was inspired by a piece of fanart by maegimaki (I think) back in the day. I can't be bothered trying to find it rn but it was of Jake, Jeremy, and Rich but parts of their bodies that were affected by the squip were shaded in bright blue tv static (Jake's legs, Rich's burn scars, Jeremy's eyes). It gave me the idea for a fic of, like, essentially lab-made superheroes except they never reached superhero stage. Jake, Jeremy, and Rich had been in the lab for as long as they could remember. The second attempt at The Enhancement Project. Jeremy had enhanced intelligence and senses, Jake had enhanced strength/speed/durability, Rich could alter his appearance and physical form (enough to pass through walls). They eventually escape and end up on the doorstep of Michael Mell and his friends (the bmc girls), the failed and escaped first attempt of The Enhancement Project.

The other ideas arent necessarily things I won't write, I just might not get around to them. Those would be the popular kids polycule royalty au and The Poet's Garden. I love The Poet's Garden au so much, I just don't know what to do with it yet but I would love to talk about it

18. What’s one of your favorite lines you’ve written in a fic?

I love the entirety of the royal pains pantone fic.

There are so many lines I like but the first one to come to mind is Jake's Pinkberry pizza metaphor

Okay, here's a bit from be more enhanced

Christine walked out of the room and stood in the doorway of the kitchen, watching Brooke and Michael have a very animated conversation with each other. She wasn’t sure what either of them were saying, but it seemed more like an argument. She turned around when she heard a groan coming from the stairs.

“God, turn you’re voices down. I can hear you two arguing from upstairs,” Chloe groaned, joining Christine in the doorway.

“Michael’s voice is gone again…” Christine mumbled.

Brooke and Michael had stopped arguing. Michael huffed, leaning against the bench. Brooke sighed.

“Michael isn’t sure if we should keep them here for too long.”

“Keep who?” Chloe asked.

“Three boys turned up on our doorstep. They’re like us,” Christine said. “Jake seems to be the leader of the three. He did all the talking. Strong protective energy coming from him. Jeremy’s is very weak, scared… Michael- they need to stay here.”

‘But what if they were sent to find us. We still haven’t been able to get rid of all their tech from us. Or to fix whatever they took from us.’ Michael said.

“They’re kids, Michael!” Brooke hissed. “They’re kids… Who knows how long Squip had them for, what they did to them.”

“They’re broken…” Christine said softly, looking back towards the doorway.

Michael sighed and shook his head. Brooke hit the back of his head. She seemed to be scolding him.

Chloe sighed, frowning at the two.

“Stop arguing like little children. We’re keeping them here. We can call Jenna tomorrow and she can fix your voice again and whatever damage Squip did to the kids.”

“You’re like us?” A voice said from behind them. Christine and Chloe turned around and Michael and Brooke looked at the doorway to see Jake standing there.

Chloe raised an eyebrow and walked over to him. “One of the kids, huh?” She said, circling him. Jake bit his lip as she watched the girl, tensing up when she touched him.

Christine bit her lip. “Chloe…”

Chloe ignored her, although she sighed and looked at Brooke.

Brooke glared at her. Chloe huffed.

Fanfics about Rich's tattoos. Drawings of Rich's tattoos. Are they real or does he draw them on? What are they of? Does he get some redone after the fire (I'm assuming most were ruined by the burns)? Does Jake help pick them out? Are they meaningful or is he one of those people that tattoos memes all over his body for no reason? Are they words or designs? Small or extravagant? Colored? I obviously do not care what they looked like in canon. I want the fandom to make a detailed exhibit of what they are because. fandom shit is better than canon. I want an entire subsection of tumblr dedicated to this cause. I need it.

Halloween: I really like both versions of this song :)

The Broadway instrumental, specifically adding the saxophone is really cool to me :)

I don't like how the Broadway version combined the first chorus and second chorus and got rid of the Jeremy and Brooke conversation.

I really the part they added to the end, foreshadowing that Rich sets a fire (and burns down the house)

Do You Wanna Hang?: I think we can all agree this song is uncomfortable, and thus the following I'm about to say doesn't mean I support sexual harassment or like this song.

Don't kill me, but I actually kinda like this song?? I don't know how to describe it, but I kinda relate to it? (I have been sexually harassed before 😞)

Besides that, I actually really kinda like the conversation part they added in the middle. Idk why, I just do.

Michael In The Bathroom: It's kinda the same in both versions?? I mean, I kinda like the Broadway version better but idk why.

The Smartphone Hour (Rich Set A Fire): When I first listened to the Broadway version, I didn't really like it. I don't exactly remember why, but I think it was because of Broadway Jenna?

Now it is my preferred version. We love the smartphone hour girls <3 That's about it though.

The Pants Song: I fricken love the Broadway version. I think it might be because during the conversation between Michael and Jeremy's dad, a guitar cover of Michael In The Bathroom plays.

I just wish my vinyl of the Broadway cast of BMC (only during the pants song) didn't come completely scratched when I got it 😒

The Pitiful Children: Where do I even begin?

First, I really like the electric guitar added in the Broadway version at the beginning.

The new lyrics are fine. They go along with the story better, but I prefer the original lyrics.

Also JASON TAM'S SINGING VOICE IS SO FRICKIN GOOD WTF. (I just wish the voice he does matched better with it 😞)

The conversation between Jeremy and Jenna makes me laugh so hard wtf. ALSO, SPEAKING OF JENNA, THE RIFFS SHE DOES IS SO GOOD WTF LET ME HAVE THOSE VOCAL CHORDS.

Also you can hear Jeremy and The Squip during the last chorus singing together better in the Broadway version.

Also, I love the random addition of Rich in the end. It's so fricken funny for no reason, I'm literally laughing while thinking about it (no offense, it's just funny to my broken humor brain)

The Play: Once again, this is just six minutes of talking 😔 (Also I never listened to the two river version, but shhh 🤫(I might make a separate post of all of the song references in this tho bcuz I am mentally unwell))

OH also btw I like how Christine's voice at the end smoothly transitions into a synth.

Voices In My Head: Can we all agree that all of the characters in BMC need to go to therapy 🤠

Anyway, the new lyrics in the second verse are fine. All of the changes are just fine. idc about the Broadway version that much, but I do like how Jeremy asks out Christine using bowling alley performance arts even though it sounds like he's saying it sooo quickly to fit in with the rythym 😭

What I DON'T like however, is that the beginning sounds sped up so I think I accidentally bumped the tune thing or whatever on my record player because that is the only way I listen to the Broadway version.

I also like how Rich's lisp is more pronounced.

Gonna talk about richjake because i love them

Personally i think jake really liked that confidence and persuasiveness in rich(squipped) and his unpredictability just exponentially increased his interest in rich. After halloween he was in a tight spot and was really conflicted(pissed at rich for burning his house down but also pissed at him for being in a short coma for days so jake can’t confront him immediately)(don’t think the musical said he was in a coma but i say so) and not squipped rich is like a whole new world to jake. He still had that persuasiveness(honestly jake would go along to anything rich said anyway) and that confidence(it’s not always there but that makes him human and not just some guy controlled by a supercomputer) and jake decided that he likes this rich more, the rich that didn’t seem distant and was more genuine and more predictable now(jake doesn’t like not knowing stuff it freaks him out and he overthinks)
