In light of discovering I’ve been a friends to lover girlie this whole time. Here’s are my top ten friends to lovers of all time canon and non canon.

1. The ship that started it all admittedly I liked Raven more so I shipped her with Robin, but my god Robin and Starfire were cute a whole ass ship I didn’t even realize I was shipping until they kissed in the movie and I was squealing like well I was a kid lol. My favorite episode aside from the Raven ones were always the ones focused on their relationship. Stranded was chefs kiss. I’m not a girl I’m not your friend. Date with Destiny had me gagged. Sisters the arm reach as she’s kidnapped beautiful. No other couple will compare.

2. God when this was airing what a time to be fucking alive. I was so obsessed with this ship. My first fanfic ideas were about this ship. I used to roleplay this show at school. They were so fucking messy with their just friends bullshit. Just friends my ass. I used to watch episode 22 routine on repeat and yes I have it memorized they almost kissed then spent the rest of series pretending they weren’t down bad for each other. They never actually made it official either which will forever haunt me to this day.

3. This one crept on me. I didn’t realize I shipped it until I shipped it and there was no going back. I mean come on. The look of love is literally their theme song. What do you mean Langa only likes skateboarding when Reki is there to watch and cheer him on. What do you mean Reki is afraid of Langa getting hurt not himself but Langa. Cindereki need I say more. The most casual friends to lovers cause they don’t even realize till the end. I went to skate infinitely with you who says stuff like that to someone they’re just friends with. How they adopt each others love languages through your the show. Ugh.

4. Alright imma be honest. This one started as me just wanting to read more Itadori fics but my god. If gege wasn’t a coward they would’ve been official (jk mostly) but Megumi only wanting to live a domestic life with Yuji, regaining the will to live after Yuji says he misses him, not having a reason for saving him not wanting him to die, start by saving me itadori…yeah. And itadori never giving up saving fushiguro, first words out of his mouth are always fushiguro, tells Sukuna to give fushiguro back. I mean how could I not.

5. Might be too early for me to be adding them to this list but so far Momo and Okarun have all the makings of being just as great as Robin and Starfire if not better. Two idiots sharing one brain cell the way they actually communicate with each other, Okarun getting salty when people insult his wifey, Momo getting jealous when people flirt with her husband. Okarun straight up telling Momo he can’t read her mind but he cares about her and values her friendship. Momo straight up saying she wants to talk to Okarun and loves hanging out with him. I’m into deep and it’s only been nine episodes. First time I’ve been this invested in a straight ship in years.

6. Back to the classics with this one. And I’m lowkey starting to sense a pattern. Cause why do they all involve redheads in some way and do I have a type? (yes) Kim and Ron are the original boss wife/fail husband. They’re so cute cause if you rewatch the series there’s all these little hints that they always liked each other (it took you 12 stinking years to kiss me) (I mean me and Kim sure everyone expects it but) but like didn’t wanna ruin their friendship fucking cute as hell idk if it was intentional on the writers part but yeah

7. Gwen and Geoff from Total Drama Island. They had one episode together and I was a goner. Idk I just love my sun and moon motifs as yall can clearly see. Something about the black cat golden retriever dynamic just tickles me I guess. I know yall see the potential. I rewrote total drama island just to get them to together it was bad

8. Harry and Luna from HP. Idc he shoulda been with her and not Ginny. No shade to Ginny but I just feel like they would’ve been such a great couple. Harry with someone who understands him and will never make him feel like he needs to live up to the savior role and Luna with someone who will never judge her for being different or odd. Sigh. So much wasted potential. So stinking cute oddly doesn’t exist as much anymore sigh.

9. Birdflash. I will not deny a huge part of this stems from really liking Wally West and that’s pretty much it. And I wanted more fics about him. I did not like Artemis at all, no one else shipped him with Zatanna or Rocket or Batgirl or Megan so Robin it was lol. But I mean I’ve been eating since so I can’t complain.

10. Ok while I don’t like this ship anymore I can’t deny I was obsessed with it for a hot minute. Danny/Sam from Danny phantom so much freaking potential and actually really cute from 10 year old me’s pov too bad they don’t hold up as an adult. I was very much obsessed with goths as a kid huh.

Honorary mentions

Adrien/Marinette: I haven’t seen enough of this show to put em in my top ten but my god is it cute af sometimes I just need to cute sunshine’s falling in love that is all. I’ve seen enough to know I’m rooting for both of em. A

Jade/Andre: I was obsessed with the episode he had a crush on her. Also in canon he’s the only one she calls a friend, they have lunch dates, she isn’t ever mean to him not as mean as she is to everyone else. I think it’s be cute af alright. Plus Andre wouldn’t flirt with other girls and make her jealous

Tododeku idk yall I just think they’d be cute af together not much else say. Same goes for Mina and Bakugo. Idk I just like em.

Sheen/Libby very refreshing to see a black girl get a love interest and not be discarded later. Sigh too bad that hasn’t happened since like 2006

NOBODY ASKED but… Obviously Simon’s arc in adventure time solidified the series as one of greatest of all time (and I’m so hyped for this ice king sadness renaissance) but now I’m thinking of OTHER Adventure Time moments that rewired my brain as a kid. In no particular order:

1. “Once the strong guys got it how they liked it they said ‘this is fair now. This is the law.’ Once they were winning they changed the rules”. They really had the cartoon dog say that on tv in 2014.

2. “People get built different. We don’t have to understand it, we just gotta respect it”

3. The entirety of All The Little People. That shit was absolutely nuts for a kids show but also like…. I can’t articulate the lesson I just know there was one and it haunted me. The danger of the human ego. Hubris. Irreverence. Don’t play god bro.

4. Lady and Peebles. When PB ripped Ricardio’s leg off and bashed his skull in with it. And it was so hardcore they edited it out of the episode. Bro. I remember watching that after school one day and how my jaw just DROPPED at a PRINCESS being so brutal. They let her be so fucking angry and that was a game changer.

5. [Finn, about a horrific memory] “that one’s going in the vault. Aaaaaaaaaandd. It’s gone.” I quote that CONSTANTLY. It’s a great way to bring levity to a bad situation, but also forces me to go “hey wait a sec that’s not gonna work forever”. Things don’t stay in the vault.

6. Puhoy. He lived an entire life in that pillow world. He had kids. And then it’s just gone like a dream.

7. The deer. It was probably my first real introduction to horror. The hand wiggle. You all know exactly what I’m referencing. Were the candy people stuck in that well for 6 months???

8. What Was Missing!! Obviously now because it foreshadowed (and confirmed past) Bubbline, but back then just because it was so good??? IMO, this is the episode that defined WHO our main cast was, and how their relationships needed to grow for them to be content. It set up the next 6 years of the show! Plus it gave us 2 absolute BANGERS. Ugh i rewatched that recording so many times it wasn’t even funny.

9. Ghost Princess. Really just for the line where he sounds like he’s gonna shit his pants remembering his death and then in a clear narrator voice he’s like “I was a broken man.”

10. The pajama war episode. Now I’m doing this from memory so I could be wrong, but I think this really marks the start of Finn growing up. “I’ve really enjoyed just… hanging out with you.” The ability to start over with someone you’ve got complicated history with. The kindness. The growth from both of them!! It’s a direct parallel of episode 1 but their tones couldn’t be more different and I love it.

11. The slow and horrifying realization that The Mushroom War was nuclear Armageddon. Mushroom clouds. That went so far over my head as a kid even though they reference it constantly. It finally clicked during “I remember you”. Which I am NOT gonna go into because holy fuck that’s like 18 posts on its own.

12. Goliad! A child mirroring EVERYTHING they see, for better or worse. Seeing Jake in a bad moment screaming at the kids and goliad absorbing that behavior. Seeing she can use fear to control people. Also PB was Fucking Crazy! Her line “I’m not gonna live forever… I would if I could” is even more unhinged when we learn (like years later) that she’s already 900 years old. But she does physically age so I guess there’s that. The Suitor also falls into this category of episodes.

Ok getting into some of the more talked about moments

1. OK I LIED I have to talk about I remember you. I was 11 years old. I turned on the new adventure time episode like usual. 10 minutes later I was grappling with a grief I had never imagined before. Absolutely BAWLING not just for Simon and Marceline (the PLOT), but for what it showed me. The reality that every kid tries not to think about: your loved ones will leave you someday, even if they don’t want to. It’s an episode that becomes more powerful with every year I get older. To get a bit personal, dementia has completely taken my grandparents from me. I’ve seen sides of my grandfather that should never have existed, and I must constantly forgive him for what he does… now that he doesn’t remember me. And someday it’ll be my parents. That’s just the way of the world, ya know? Anyways, I remember my mom got home right as the credits were rolling and we had a long talk about keeping people alive with memory, mortality, and how the future was far away and we should decide on dinner lmao.

2. The Hall of Egress. I was almost 15. Life was changing. I was changing, and it was strange and frightening. That feeling where you know you’re losing your childhood but you just want to cling to it. Follow the same old familiar path, stick with what’s comfortable. But life doesn’t work that way. It took me years to really understand this episode and it’s symbolism. Honestly I still don’t think I could fully explain it. It’s like. How do I put this. I was so glad to be in the target age group in that moment. I was so glad that something I was growing up with was assuring me “you’re changing, but we’re changing too”. And isn’t that the theme of adventure time? Everything stays, but it still changes.

3. The absolute horror of Ferns existence. He’s Finn, but he’s wrong and warped. All those memories of the people he loves and they can’t stand to be in the same room as him.

4. Susan Strong. The introduction of a RUNNING PLOT. The show up to that point had really been so goofy and so monster of the week. I think the only really plot heavy episode before this one was It Came From the Nightosphere? And then suddenly they call into question the fact that Finn really is the ONLY HUMAN in all of OOO. And then… is he? It was SUCH a departure from the usual tone. Ending that episode with him reaching below her hat and gasping in shock, but never telling the audience what he found. And then she’s just gone. Which leads us to Islands!

5. Min and Marty. Second saddest episode in the entirety of adventure time, made worse because you know exactly how this family is gonna end up. There’s SO MUCH to dissect about Martins behavior in the series. A reformed con artist receives a traumatic brain injury while attempting to save his son. They’re both lost at sea, and he never looks for him. Was it the emotional trauma? Was it the physical damage? Meanwhile a mother loses her husband and her child in a single night and never EVER learns why. Nobody but Martin knows what happened that night. Also Finns fear of the ocean from season 1 is finally explained. 7 years of ignoring Finns origins and then they throw you THIS??? Watching it live was unreal.

Anyways I’m sure I’ll think of more. I might add on to this later for my own sake lmao, but I’d love to hear other peoples formative moments, quotes, episodes, etc. I really just needed to dump this information out of my brain so I can get on with my week.

those like first 5 seasons of supernatural ive rewatched so often i also love a good weekly monster hunting show like buffy too!! ugh, so good.

would love ghoap as 2 ppl just cruising down long roads and crashing in random hotels, picking themselves up a cute little thing that /totally/ needs them and cant /live/ without their guidance.

i feel like the current state of media (8 episodes per season, so the plot needs to be crammed into every second of the show) means that there's a current dearth of "monster of the week" type shows and it's actually such a bummer because i love episodic series like that, where the plot does shift a little with each episode, but it's also disconnected enough that you can just enjoy them hunting the monsters and learning about them. x files, buffy, supernatural - we used to feast........now we merely have scraps to eat

the Supernatural format is so built for ghoap though, especially the early seasons where it felt very grimy and dingy. crashing in random motels, drinking at dirty dive bars where the wait staff would rather spit on them than give them directions, freaking out the locals when Ghost starts asking them questions in his low, growling voice.

maybe it's a fledgling vampire they find or maybe it's just a bartender who's been having a rough go at it and finds herself in a particularly bad spot with a malicious spirit, and after Soap and Ghost take care of it, they decide she'd be better off coming along with them. Ghost thinks that Soap needs a sweet thing to take the edge off - they have to deal with such nasty creatures and horrendous carnage on a weekly basis and it's beaten his boy down to the point where he doesn't seem to have anything driving him forward anymore, his soul languishing and rotting in his chest.

so yeah, even though she screams and squirms when he drags her to the car, the girl's coming with them. tough shit for her.

How I would re-write Supergirl Season 2/3

(as some one who stopped watching after season three, and also has not rewatched the series since 2020) (reign arc and heroes of the week will remain unchanged)

So, starting off strong, at Alex and Maggie would not have gotten engaged. Season 2 finale would have been Maggie realizing she was rushing into things, Alex being all "no I love you, I know I do" and Maggie being like "there is a whole gay world for you to explore... go do it." This would lead to sadness, a bit of tears (Chyler and Floriana would be AMAZING- daytime emmy nominee worthy performance).

Rhea would reveal Kara's identity to Lena in the finale. It would be casual too, she would be like "you are much better for my son Lena, that kryptonian isn't worth her weight in dirt here. I can't believe he would settle for a lowly slave." And then Lena would be all "reporter" and Rhea would be like "Yes Kara Danver's, former slave to a, Cat Grant I believe her name is" and then Rhea would continue on her spiel and there would be a cut scene as the camera focuses on Lena taking in the information

They save the day- Monel leaves for what ever reason he had to leave- don't remember, don't care. Also, Kara and Mon-el would have never dated, he would have just pined for her and James and Winn would be all "join the club"

Season 3

Alex mourned over her first lesbian relationship over the 6 month gap between seasons, Lena hasn't told Kara she knows.

First DEO scene of Season 3 is Alex talking to Kara (and invertedly Winn and James) about her most recent date on an app. It went bad, Winn chimes in like "what was it this time" and Alex is like "she was weirdly into ___" then J'onn walks in, like "Alex I am sorry to interrupt but there are pressing matter to attend to- there is a meta human down town" (que hero of the week intro)

Lena and Kara hang out, audience find out that Lena hasn't told Kara cause Kara has to leave to deal with a alien and does the usual "uh, I hear my named being called, ugh bye" and Lena just smiles and nodds, and sighs wistfully, staring after her (supercorp shippers go crazy)

Ep 2 or three we first see Sam and Ruby in line for Noonan's or something (why did they establish that as a brand, just to immediately ditch it after season 1???) and it's just a cute simple little "Hi, I'm Alex, let me help you out" but Sam is endeared and Ruby just smiles because (I love Ruby but honestly) she didn't have that much of a personality early on in the season

That same ep we see Lena reuniting with Sam. After that, when ever Sam and Lena meet each other (I don't remember when or how) Kara and Lena are like "you two know each other" and Alex is all blushy like "yeah, Kinda, I mean, not really" and Sam is like "yeah, Lena she is the girl from the place". Sam and Lena share a look (agent reign shippers go crazy)

Sprinkles of supercorp here and there- Just Kara and Lena doing their normal friend shit but Kara being like "woah, I am feeling things maybe"

At ep 8 or so Kara is at the bar with Alex and ask her how she knew with Maggie, that she liked Maggie. And Alex is all "well, I guess I always knew I liked girls but it was always objective. Like, I would think, she is so kind and smart and beautiful and amazing, any guy would be lucky to have her. But something about Maggie just forced me to realize that I was the one feeling these things, not some guy. I don't know, something about her just made alot of things clearer. Like, I realized I was the one driving the car, not a passenger. She made me stop being so passive in my own life" and Kara is quiet the whole time. Alex then ask "why" and Kara is all "no reason". Cut to Lena at L-Corp working on something relevant to the plot (supercorp shippers go crazy) (that conversation inspires Alex to ask Sam out- they then start to date)

Next ep, Kara goes to Lena's office, and is all, "there is something I need to tell you" and Lena is all "I already know" and Kara is shocked an all "how do you know" and Lena is like "in hindsight it was obvious. *list of things that hold double meanings cause miscommunication trope*" "Lee- I would have told you earlier but I-" "It's fine, I get it. You were doing it to protect me" "protect you???" "yeah- you're supergirl". Que Kara sighing and then freaking out, Lena saying Rhea told her, Kara being pulled away by some kind of supe situation, and Lena being all "go get them supergirl"

Kara admits her feelings at the end of the episode. Lena is shocked, but agrees. They agree to go on a date, a real romantic date and not a friend one, but oops- it's ep 9 which means Kara fights reign, goes comatose and then we get angsty, driven lena being like "we gotta fix Kara"

From then on, the show goes like usual, but Alex and Sam are dating and Kara and Lena are as well. The show ends with Season 3, Alex leads Deo, Winn stays but James leaves to help in the future but it really doesn't matter because the show it over. Supercorp is canon, Alex and Sam have a daughter and everyone lives happily ever after.

Edit: forgot to say this orginally but more Cat cameos. I love that woman so much- she has to come back at least twice in season 3 and be like "I leave the city for five minutes and you let her do WHAT? Agent Scully, why on EARTH would you let your sister fight a world killer??? Have you no brains under that thick skull" or something. I just want for her to be there, see Kara and Lena together and pull out of peice of paper from her purse that says "gay" and be like "I knew when you first walked into my office. No straight women would willingly be yelled at that often" or something. Idk, she was just very deeply missed

DRDT - Milgram AU: T1 "Voice Reveal" Lines

Hey there! Back at it with this AU. I figured if I'm going to commit to the bit, I might as well commit fully. At the start of every Trial, Milgram gives a sneak peak at some of the lines which will appear in the VDs, combined with "glitchy" lines which relate to their murder. So I'm doing that too! Keep in mind this is not professional in the slightest, so exact wording might change between now and when I actually post the VDs. Especially since it's been a while since I rewatched DRDT so the wording could feel a bit off. Anyways, here we go!

Lost S2 Rewatch - spontaneous, random thoughts (might change my mind)

Kinda dig Ana Lucia. I remember that, back when the show first aired, I didn't like her but I guess I've changed my mind. I like the fact that she seems to be unapologetic, she's leader-material and she knows it and acts as such but she's not smug about it. She does bad things, she knows it and doesn't hide behind excuses. Honestly? So far she's cool.

The introduction of the Tailies was a ballsy move, we haven't seen our fearless leader Jack for 6 episodes now (I've reached S2E7) and the show is still compelling and exciting. We meet five new characters and their introductions are different from those of the main characters in s1: it's fast, no flashbacks, direct. The comparison works because I find myself wanting to know more even though I wasn't even given enough screen-time to care about them. Ballsy, well-executed professional writing move.

I like how the first 3 episodes are taking place on the same night/day as the last 3 episodes of S1 (or 2 episodes, according to how you're watching "Exodus"). We see the events from different perspectives and this method of storytelling sometimes is very effective, sometimes I personally find it a bit boring. This doesn't happen here at all.

Hurley is such a more interesting character when you rewatch the show! I think that he's the only character (so far) where knowing things in advance makes him better and I'm like "hell, yes, why didn't I see that before?". Like, when I first watched the show I thought that Hurley was the "comic relief" of the series. He kinda is, but he's also not and so much more? Upon rewatching the show you can clearly see why he was the right leader and the best protector of the island. Gotta love The Dude.

I've said it once, I'll say it again (and forever): JUSTICE FOR SHANNON. I'll protect her against anyone. Her centric episode "Abandoned" is okay but I find it very distasteful that her death is framed as manpain fodder for Sayid. Also, she has sex at the beginning of the episode and at the end she dies? Ugh. Again, distasteful, it felt a little like she had completed her function so off we go. My girl deserved so much more :(.

Speaking of Shannon, her relationship with Sayid is meh. I actually liked it 20 years ago but thank god I've definitely changed because it's a badly written ship. I mean, I can see that the two characters have potential, but there's no "meat" behind it. The story is not "built", it's just there. One day Sayid finds her attractive and that's it. The two of them have spent like 1 afternoon together and all of a sudden the guy creates a romantic location on the beach so they can have sex. Shallow. And also, let's never forget that these people are on a fucking island full of things AND people that want to kill them, but okay, let's go beachsex-camping somewhere!

I'm an anti-Charlie. It really costs me a lot to say this because he was my favorite twenty years ago and now I can't stand him. I've reckoned that if I have to spend more time trying to make excuses for him while I actively don't like his actions... well, it's wasted time. Let's call is as it is: Charlie's a dick. That scene after Locke was holding Aaron and Charlie was jelaous or, I'd rather say, unhingedly possessive? Brrr, chills bruh and the wrong kind. Dude, you're cringe.

Pit Babe Anniversary Rewatch! Episode 1!

I can't even begin to describe how happy I am to be rewatching one of my favourite shows and sharing in the joy with others 🥹 Below are my thoughts of the episode as I watched it, I'm trying not to simp so much for the show and the actors entirely, but I think I failed in that department 🤣

• I love dogs. I have a poodle named Brienne after the GOT character, she’s 5 years old so that means she got me through pandemic and she’s my love and joy. Isn’t she adorable? Yes, she is.

• I’m unfortunately allergic to cats (yep, like Pedro) and can’t pet them unless I wish for an asthma attack. That sucks, I know.

• I have deep brown curly hair, brown eyes and I’m short (158 cm).

• I’ve been to more than 100 concerts in my life including some festivals abroad.

• Cults scare the shit out of me but at the same time they’re one of the things that makes me more curious ‘cause my mind can’t really comprehend what happens in people’s mind when they get sucked into them.

Ugh the Celebrimbor and Annatar stuff this episode was SO GOOD! Tell me where is Elrond though, I feel like I haven’t seen him since episode 2🥲 hopefully the next couple of episodes will make up for the Elrond lack.

I’d love to hear your more in depth thoughts about this season so far sometime, no pressure of course! But you always have such balanced and knowledgable opinions on this show. I’m liking the season so far, but have some major problems with it still and have come to the conclusion that it’s probably never going to be what I want it to be, and that’s ok! I do love the community around it though, and reading everyone’s thoughts and theories, and I love your blog!

I'm super late to responding to this but holy god yeah. Just in general the Eregion plotline is carrying this entire season. Though the Numenor plotline is doing a lot of interesting things, too! Thank you so much for the ask.

Under the cut for potential spoilers (I am not being super specific in this at all though, but I want to be safe!)

As for some Season 2 opinions, I'm trying to withhold a lot of judgement until we reach the finale, but there have been some things they've done/lines they've chosen to use which are rather...how shall I put this...lore breaking? I will probably have to do a rewatch of the series and take notes. There are certain moments which stand out to me (most of them being in the uh. Really, really, really bad Rhun plotline. I want to like the Stranger & Poppy and Nori, I really do, but it's just...not. good). A couple lines said by Cirdan and moments in the Lindon-focused episode also come to mind. It's frustrating because the writers seem to grasp so many things about the lore and Middle Earth and Tolkien's themes -- and in general they do a good job! But there are a few moments where they miss the mark so widely that it's honestly lore-breaking - much of that has to do with choices they're making regarding the nature of Ainur and uh, the rings, but again I think I'll have to do a rewatch and take notes on the parts that really irk me to be able to explain myself properly. My criticisms in that regard are mostly vague right now.

But I love what they're doing with the dwarves. I adore what they're doing with orcs. I love the characterization of Elrond (though I have no doubt that a huge chunk - at least 70% if not more has to do with Rob being the one who's playing him). And of course the exploration of gaslighting and abuse within the Eregion plotline is so well-written that it's astounding to me. I love that they are being so clear that Sauron is a manipulative, truly evil asshole. They're not making excuses for him. They're not trying to romanticize things or soften things, neither do they try to excuse his behavior in interviews and bonus content either. Sauron sucks. He's a manipulative abuser and I'm so relieved that this is the direction they went with him. Sure, he's sexy as hell while he's doing it, but...how else can I put this...they're not turning that sexiness into an excuse, you know? It just makes it that much more unsettling and scary how sexy and charismatic he is.

Also from a production perspective I'm so pleased to see just how much more time, budget, and allowance was given to the props and costuming department! The thing is -- it's not that the costumes last season were bad, necessarily, but it was painfully obvious that the (immensely skilled, if you look at the roster!) costuming department simply wasn't given enough time and budget to make anything competitive. And while I hate that the show has been forced into competition with other fantasy shows (House of the Dragon, cough cough), it's simply a reality that people are comparing the two, and House of the Dragon's costuming had, thus far, simply been far superior in terms of tailoring, structure, and quality of fabric. They're not really super comparable (Game of Thrones has always gone for prop/costuming realism -- taking more direct inspiration from historical fashion, vs the Rings of Power's art department clearly taking inspiration from Romantic and Baroque art). I'm really pleased to see that they've stuck to their art direction while being obviously given the appropriate time to create something of higher quality. The difference between the fabrics and tailoring from S1 to S2 (as well as the wig quality, holy shit), is just astronomical.

This season in general just feels like a massive upgrade to season one. I loved season one. I didn't really think it was very good, but it was fun. Whereas season two I'm slowly transitioning into "this is good. this is well made" (with the unfortunate exceptions of Rhun and certain moments in Lindon, but that again comes down to writing which bafflingly continues to be a weak point. I say baffling because now the writers have proved to me that they are capable of writing some truly incredible stuff via the Eregion arc. So I simply don't understand how we got the Eregion arc alongside uh. Some really glaringly awful writing in the Rhun arc. And it's such a shame because the art direction and production in Rhun is so good. I wish the writing lived up to it).

I'm a bit nervous for the time budget for the finale, but I'm withholding judgement until we have it in our hands.

Anyway thanks for giving me the opportunity to ramble! I have more thoughts for sure, but this is what comes to my mind off the top of my head lol.

I finished watching ep 1 and 2 of bad buddy series and I love it already. I really want to watch more but it's already super late and I need to go sleep. Here are my thoughts on this series so far.

The production is really good so far.

The music really stands out to me. It is used a lot but doesn't feel overdone. I need to rewatch to be sure if it's as intentional as I think it is, but the music adds context to the scenes which is fun.

This show is so funny. Not in a cringey way either. More like a lighthearted and natural way. Like I found myself genuinely laughing out loud at times.

Pat, Pran and Pa are so adorable.

The baby versions of the characters are so cute oh my motherly heart.

I am really digging the PatPran frenemy dynamics. I need to see more before I elaborate why I like their dynamics so much. I just adore them already.

When I look at Pat I just see a husky.

Pran seems to be the most self aware character so far. I want to see if he will be the first one to notice the dynamic shift as their relationship changes.

Seeing the PatPa sibling dynamic made me appreciate my sister so much. Sure, she often uses the older sister card to make me do stuff, but at least she is not gross. Also she gives me tasks, not chores. Yes Pat I am telling you to stop making Pa do your chores. Justice for younger siblings who have to do chores for their older siblings!

The PatPran fake fighting is so funny. Baby PatPran falling over when their hands are a mile away from each other was so hilarious. The adult version of the fake fighting is actually one of my favorite scenes so far. I need to revisit this when I am done watching the whole thing because I know there's a lot I missed here.

I hate when parents try to indoctrinate their children. Just let them breathe okay? Have your feuds and friends and whatever without dragging your children into it. Also stop putting pressure on your children and let them do what they want. Just give them the freedom to grow. They are their own person, so let them explore themselves on their own. Ugh I'll leave it at that for now but I already have so much more to say about both sets of parents and I can tell its probably going to get worse. Like I know they love their children a lot but ugh. I just know these parents are going to piss me off later on in this show. I just know it.

That one scene where Pat touches Pran's face without washing his hands after peeing was so gross. I know Pat is gross in general but that was too much.

The number of times I went 'boys being idiots' in just 2 eps is astounding. This is the brand of idiocy I have only ever seen within a group of boys. These boys sent me back to my school days. I have seen these exact scenes and conversations happen. Especially the one where Pran's friends tease him about being hit on. I will never forget that tone of voice. Even the getting ready to fight at the drop of a hat is so familiar. The number of times I have seen boys getting all up in each others' faces for the stupidest reasons imaginable are countless. I have never seen boys actually fight in school but I had a guy friend tell me all about their fights outside of school. Then these same boys who were punching each other because one hit the other with a paper bullet launched from a rubber band slingshot(they were having a war in class and I almost got hit multiple times) would hug each other and jump around when the school team won a sports match. Also, their collective IQ seems to magically disappear when they are together and they are left with half a braincell to be shared by the whole group. That's why they become boys being idiots.

OhmNanon are undoubtedly the stars of this show and not just because they are the main characters. They are doing such a great job of selling me their characters. Their scenes together are so fun to watch.

I am going to write a separate post about Ohm Pawat specifically because I already have so much to say about him.

Yeah I think that's about it. Actually there is more but I want to see how some things develop before I comment on those. @airenyah I am so glad I can share this with you. I love it so much already. I totally understand the obsession, I am quickly getting there too. Like I want to rewatch it already. I knew I was going to like bbs considering our mutual love for simm and ha but I really didn't expect to like it so much already. I didn't even watch the trailer, I just jumped into the 1st ep directly. And well I am having a blast!

Everyone's attention suddenly snaps to you as you mumble out words, no one thought you were anywhere near sober enough to hear them.

Mike, ever the leader, speaks first "Nothing y/n go to bed."

"No don't brush me off I wanna know!" You huff and Sam has to adjust her grip on you.

Jess rolls her eyes and walks closer to you "Look y/n all you need to know is we're playing a little prank on Hannah, she's been trying to get with Mike and needs to be taught a lesson."

You frown "But that's mean, Hannah- Hannah invited us all up here, this is her place, we gotta be nice invitees." your eyes are starting to slip close and more and more weight is being leaned onto Sam.

Ashley steps forward now "Technically it was Josh who invited us, but anyways it's nothing bad, just a small little prank." She smiles at you in a way that reassures your drunken mind.

You giggle, "Okk then, I'll help her dye all your teeth blue later in revenge." You are humored by your own joke and start giggling and laughing more.

Sam lets out a sigh and starts to drag you away. "Bye guys, I hope you make the right decision."

You close your eyes and lean againist Sam trusting her to take you somewhere as the world spins beneath your eyelids. By the time you open then again you are in a room lit by a fire that you can see Beth standing by and a couch in front of it that holds your boyfriend.

"Joshhhh" you break off from Sam and stumble to the couch, nearly tripping over the edge of it before flopping down on top of the man already laying there.

"Y/n babyyy my gorgeous amazing other half." His words were also slurred and his arms clumsily come up to curl around you tightly as he buries his face in your hair. You giggle and turn your face towards the fire to find Beth looking at the two of you fondly.

"Hiii Elizabeth, Bethy, my lovely friend." You reach the hand closest out to her and she takes it and gives it a little squeeze.

"Hi y/n. Partied hard?" She's smiling in a way that says she's already taken pictures of the scene to use as blackmail later on.

"Ugh yes, and just give me like thirty minutes and I will be ready to party again." As you say this your eyes drift further closed and you feel yourself relaxing more and more into Josh.

"Mhm sure." She snorts and lets go of your hand which you wrap around Josh. "Sleep well y/n, we can party tomorrow night."

You hum contently and close your eyes. You nestle your face into the crook of Josh's neck and settle further into your comfy human pillow. Between the heat of your boyfriend and the fire, you find yourself drifting off to sleep to the quiet crackle of wood, and breathing of Josh in minutes.

Prologue is finished! Sorry if this isn't accurate to how you personally would act drunk. Featuring a little fluffy moment with Josh and Beth before the bad stuff. :( Did all the talk of seeing Hannah and Beth later make you sad hehe. I felt evil putting that in.

UGH! I love these two so much!!!!!!!! I don’t care what anyone says, but their chemistry is definitely one of a kind compared to many. Definitely in my top 3 couples. They won my heart when i watched the series and were just the cutest. So i’ve decided to make a FF about them because i’m just obsessed, no literally, i’ve rewatched the series like 3 times already

Sarawat- “So when are you coming back from work?”

Sarawat turned around, looking towards Tine with a gentle smile widening on his lips. He curved his palms around Tine’s waist, digging his nose into the crevice of his neck.

Tine- “Get off of me you idiot”

Tine shoved himself off of Sarawat, which of course made him a little disheartened as his smile slouched.

It’s what happens when you delete Tine’s lawful files off of his laptop. He works as an attorney, and keeps his clients information on his laptop. And not surprisingly, with how bad Sarawat is at using technology, he accidentally deleted them when looking for his own files.

Sarawat is a solo artist, working as a musician day in and day out. He was in a group called Ctrl+S a while back, but after a couple of years being together, they disbanded due to them wanting to focus on their own careers and personal lives. They are all still very close as friends even with how busy they are.

With Sarawat and Tine having busy busy jobs, they still own a home together, still cute together, still sleep together, still go on dates together. All in all, they’re still 2gether, since Sarawat first laid his bambi eyes on his chic little bunny, Tine.

And they plan to keep it that way for the rest of their lives, ever since Sarawat found him again after bumping into him at a Scrubb concert. The endless thoughts in his mind of maybe never being able to see the one he admired ever again almost horrified him. But that day wouldn’t of come anyways.

The love he felt in his heart when he found Tine again, oh Sarawat couldn’t help but fall all over him just the same as Tine did for him.

Sarawat- “Oh Tine baby..I said i was sorry about the files..”

Tine- “You’re sorry, but i’ll never be able to get them back. I’m gonna have to re-write all of that all over again y’know?”

Sarawat- “I know..and i feel really bad about it, you know i do..”

Sarawat tugged onto Tine, even if he shoved him off a million times, he’d never let his baby go. Tine looked at him with his dark circles on the prowl after the sleepless nights he’s been having to work with.

Tine- “I’m heading to work, i’ll be back by 9pm”

Tine grabbed his satchel bag, one which carried the paper files which surprisingly didn’t get deleted. He latched onto his keys, which was hung on a rusty key ring. The mirror was the last thing Tine met as he adjusted his hair in the reflection of it so he doesn’t look like a complete mess.

Sarawat shifted towards Tine, as his heart was palpitating against his chest under his old t-shirt which was bound to be years old by now,

Sarawat- “No kiss goodbye baby?”

Tine- “Do you deserve one?”

Sarawat instantly looked down at his feet as he kicked at the carpet on the floor a little. He then looked up with a little pout on his lips

Tine couldn’t help but give into his cuddly boyfriend, as he looked like a sad little dog who wanted some love

Tine- “I’m only joking, you know i’d never deny a kiss from you, come here Wat”

Sarawat’s smile sprouted up again as he quickly went over to Tine. He put his fingers on his soft cheeks before giving him a delicate kiss on his lips. No matter how tired Tine was, he could never decline Sarawat’s sweet kisses.

Tine- “I forgive you alright? I know it was an accident, but please be careful next time okay?”

Sarawat- “Mhm, i will be as careful as possible. Thank you baby..~~”

Tine forgave Sarawat still, even if he would have to go through another sleepless night. He couldn’t go through the day with thinking about how he didn’t forgive him. Tine cared for him deeply especially when it comes to his feelings.

Sarawat let Tine go after a little while before they both said their goodbyes with Tine shutting the door behind him. And with that, Sarawat was all alone. With no work, no Tine, no nothing. Just a boring Wednesday. He figured he’d spend today writing a song for Tine, as his guitar glistened in the corner of his eye. He’s been singing Scrubb songs for years now, and maybe he could finally write his own for his darling boy.

This would also be good for Tine, as he’s been so stressed lately with his job. This could be a good way to break through that hardheadedness since he’s been so reckless with his well-being lately.

Sarawat decided to take that chance and picked up his guitar, his notebook and went on to their balcony. That’s where his brain was the most efficient. In a relaxed breeze over the city, as he sat in his chair, pondering through all of his best love lines for Tine.

Later that day

Tine shoved himself through the front door, shutting it behind him before dropping his bag on the floor. He sighed deeply before leaning against the door. His eyes filled with tears before he broke down on the floor. Tine brought his knees to his head as he sat on the floor, unable to keep himself from sobbing quietly. He didn’t even know why he was crying, it was all such a trouble to his mind as he thought of how weak he was.

Sarawat was sat on his chair, studying his lyrics as he heard the front door open and close. It must be Tine, his baby. He left his chair, as he walked out of their bedroom to see him.

Sarawat- “Hey my love, how was work-..”

Sarawat’s words soon stopped as he realised Tine was on the floor, swept up in his tears. He ducked down immediately, wanting to know why he was crying so hard.

Sarawat- “Oh baby..why are you crying?”

Tine sniffled hard as he looked up at Sarawat with his twinkling eyes filled with salty tears. He still looked so angelic, even in such a state.

Tine- “Wat..”

That’s the only thing Tine said before rushing into Sarawat’s hefty arms, forcing his warm body into a deep hug. Of course, Sarawat gave into that heartbreaking hug Tine was wanting so badly. He could tell Tine was feeling so messy and out of place.

Sarawat- “Shh..baby, relax okay? I’m here, i’m here for you Tine��

Tine- “W-Wat..”

Tine’s voice was so quiet, as he was stuttering, struggling to talk properly. He was really emotional right now, and Sarawat could only feel so sympathetic, wanting to help his love with anything

Tine- “It’s so stressful..it’s so hard..i can’t do anything.”

Sarawat’s eyebrows furrowed slightly, as he looked at Tine’s glistening face which was filled with watery tears. This wasn’t like Tine, he loved his job so much

Sarawat- “What makes you say that honey?”

Tine- “I just k-keep on messing up with files and my boss complained at me so much today. I-It was always little concerns but this time was so serious. H-He said my clients don’t deserve me as an attorney. I feel so stupid a-and idiotic and and-”

Sarawat- “Tine”

Tine was interrupted with Sarawat’s voice, as he looked at his serious sort of expression. Tine bucked down, a bit worried of his sudden attitude.

Sarawat- “Do you really think you’re not a good attorney?”

Tine- “N-No..i don’t think i am”

Sarawat- “And you believe that because your boss said it?”

Tine- “Well yeah, b-because he’s my boss and he has to be honest with his employees”

Sarawat- “Do you love your job?”

Tine- “Yeah..i love being a lawyer..”

Sarawat- “So if you love being a lawyer, why do you care if your boss believes you’re not cut out to be one?”

Tine- “B-Because-”

Sarawat- “Because you don’t believe in yourself.”

Tine looked at Sarawat with a softer expression, his lips quivering at his words. Sarawat’s heart shook harder in his chest as he stared at Tine’s pink and puffy cheeks, his saddened expression.

Sarawat- “Tine baby, you’re amazing at your job. No matter how many mistakes you make, you always find a way around them. It makes me admire you even more as a person and as your boyfriend. Your boss doesn’t realise who he’s treating wrong alright? If you love being an attorney, then you need to focus on your passion than other people’s negative opinions of you.”

Tine’s eyes filled with more tears, as Sarawat’s words tugged onto his heartstrings. Sarawat's smile formed on his soft lips, unable to not smile at his sweet Tine. Hearing words like this made Tine feel more relieved, relieved he has someone on his side. Instead of against him

Tine- “Y-You really think so Wat..?”

Sarawat- “I don’t think so, i know so”

Tine couldn’t help but smile a little, looking like a cute little bunny as his arms wrapped around Sarawat again. He sniffled his sadness away, his love for Sarawat only blooming more and more. He doesn’t even know what he’d do without his beautiful man beside him.

Sarawat- “I love you baby, so so much alright? And i don’t want you to think anything otherwise”

Tine- “Mmh..okay Wat..i-i love you too, really i do”

Sarawat- “I know my love, i know you do..”

Tine- “Im so glad i have you Wat, even when i’m so overworked and tired..there’s not a day that i don’t want you”

Sarawat- “Really?”

Tine- “Of course..”

Sarawat- “So..can i have you right now?”

Tine’s eyes widened in slight shock, as Sarawat had a playful smile on his lips. He knew exactly what he meant. His sly and dirty intentions were obvious. So, he quickly hit Sarawat’s shoulder, a sort of punishment for his words

Tine- “Ai! Wat?!”

Sarawat- “Im joking, i’m joking honey, don’t hurt me..!”

Sarawat’s smirk soon went into a pout, his mischievous expression changed into something more worried. Worried about where Tine would hit him next.

Sarawat- “But if i’m serious with you, no matter how you look or feel, i’ll always love you just the way you are Tine.”

He placed a small kiss on Tine’s temple, as he inhaled his aroma of pure sweet vanilla.

Sarawat- “And to show you how amazing you are, i wrote you a song”

Tine’s eyes widened slightly as he looked at Sarawat. He was slightly shocked he wrote a song for him. Spending all of his time to write a full blown song? Tine couldn’t even comprehend the fact Sarawat would even go all those lengths for him. He felt so appreciated.

Tine- “You wrote a song..? For me?”

Sarawat nodded; a small chuckle escaping his lips as he left a little tickle at Tine’s jaw

Sarawat- “Of course baby, why wouldn’t i? Come, jump on my lap” Tine’s smile sprouted even more, like a daffodil blooming in late spring time. He planted himself into Sarawat’s legs, as he brought a guitar and placed it in front of Tine. Tine’s eyes were glued onto Sarawat’s long fingers tuning the guitar as he couldn’t help but admire his beautiful man.

Sarawat- “You ready honey?”

Tine- “Yeah, of course i am~~”

Tine giggled cutely, as Sarawat cleared his throat. He was a little nervous, but started his pretty lyrics anyways.

Sarawat felt his heart race against his chest, which was tight in his shirt as he watched Tine’s eyes fill with tears. He couldn’t bare to see that as he quickly wiped them away for him. Tine’s words had him on a slight chokehold as he let out a small giggle. His lips curved into his signature smirk.

Sarawat- “Oh Tine..you’re so sweet to me. You give me too much for my heart to handle..”

Tine grabbed the guitar, placing in on the ground beside them both. Confused Sarawat watched his boy get more comfortable on his lap, as his arms were wrapped around his neck.

He soon found it relaxing as the both of them stayed in that same position, feeling each other’s warm bodies pressed against one another.

Sarawat- “I love you baby”

Tine smiled quickly, placing a kiss on his temple

He rolled over so his back was facing Sarawat, as Sarawat laughed a bit more loudly at Tine’s reactions.

Sarawat- “Okay okay baby, i was joking, come back to me”

Sarawat shifted back to Tine, rubbing his sides gently as they both snuggled into one another again.

Tine- “Good night sweetheart”

Sarawat- “Sweet dreams angel”

Sarawat left a kiss at his temple before their eyes closed and they fell into dreamland with their hearts intertwined.
