The thing I love about the ending of mha is not only that there's no conclusive "canon ship", but the way he ended it as sort of a new beginning, so anything could start to happen.

And specifically for bkdk, it's not canon but he gave us AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT TO WORK WITH.

The forgone conclusion that Izuku and Katsuki will now be competing again as they ALWAYS WANTED. Their future could have them jockeying for rankings for the rest of their lives, constantly one upping each other, AND/OR they could become partners, or open their own agency!

The implication that Katsuki wanted a future WITH IZUKU so badly that he contributed a large chunk of his own money and resources to making it happen. That he MOST LIKELY was where they got a lot of the info on how the Quirks worked and how Izuku utilized them. Sure they have battle footage, but katsuki had intimate knowledge as Izukus closest person and sparring partner.

The fact that A PROPOSAL, A RING, AND A WEDDING WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER.

Like there are so many little ideas buzzing around my head and it's not fair that I don't even have enough time to sit down with them for post epilogue fics 😅

im always surprised when anyone lists jopsons promotion as a happy scene because when my friend and i were watching it they were like "papa's paying attention to you but he's not really Listening" cause like, a promotion isnt really what jopson wants and it doesnt benefit crozier to show this level of favouritism when the chances of mutiny are at an all time high and it wouldnt hold up if they returned to england anyway. so crozier giving jopson this promotion is akin to him admitting to himself "we won't make it" and more specifically "my best boy won't make it" and trying to give jopson some amount of recognition / daddylove before its too late. he does a shit job at it because it isnt the kinda love jopson truly wants, but crozier thinking he knows best for everyone else is pretty par for the course.

Actually, re: the soul getting stripped of memories and much of its personhood thing, could someone get turned into a lemure without undergoing that process, in that you would have a devil that still has all of their prior memories and personality?

I presume it's potentially possible, given, say... Zariel, who remembers her time as a Celestial (although she didn't become a devil the same way at all, from the little I understand)

Hmm...

Zariel isn't the same as a damned mortal, no. She's an archdevil, which is a different being to the rank and file. Several archdevils are fallen celestials, or rumoured to be. Were she not an archdevil, according to some sources, she would be classified as an erinyes, which are unique amongst the baatezu due to having a celestial rather than mortal origin and tend to look down their noses at the rest of devilkind because of it. And then back in 2e we had Planescape just having them as a regular rung on the promotion ladder: DnD! (There is the question of mortals turned celestials turned fallen, I suppose. I recall Planescape once saying that only the lower planes reproduce via mortal souls, but then there are definitely celestials like Selûne's Shards who are former mortals, so eh. Deities.)

Descent to Avernus has it that Lawful Evil mortals who die on the plane simply spawn as lemures direct from the styx, but that doesn't give them memories (and the styx destroys memories on contact anway). Lemures have sometimes been noted to retain some semblance of their former selves, like their face and a vague sense of loss, but it mostly just drives them mad with pain and grief knowing they've lost so much but not being able to comprehend it. (You can also use polymorph and take the shape of a lemure, but that's not quite the same thing)

If you sell your soul to a devil on the Fugue to avoid judgement then the devil is obligated to give you a better deal than usual, which can include skipping a few promotions higher than the lemure stage (I think that's just 'turn into a lemure and then get insta-promoted though). You could in theory bargain to keep your memories, I suppose. It might just make being a fiend worse though.

Likewise, some deities have deals with the Lords of the Nine may have their followers undergo the process to turn them into devils. These devils belong to the god rather than an archdevil, and deities may chose to have their regular petitioners keep their identities, so I guess a Banite or Loviatan could enjoy a brief stint in lemurehood, a promotion to some higher, more useful rank, and their deity will slap the personality back on if they want their follower that way. Maybe.

I'm sure somewhere in the history of DnD there's been at least one devil that retained some semblance of self. Even if not, it's DnD, there will always be unique one-in-a-million cases.

Annnd one of those pictures was also this: a Bersagliere in a historical uniform (some more details are in ID).

For non-Pasta speaker, know this: "bersagliere" translates as "sharpshooter".

hi! Don’t know if this has alreayd been mentioned, but I’ll put it in an ask in case it hasn’t!

if you’re doing a group’s stamp mission and are freaking out about how you missed all the virtual shows and there aren’t anymore until after the end of the stamp missions, i found a trick!

for the stamp mission that’s something like “go into a virtual show dressed as a fan of this group,” you can go into the haruka show (which has ended), change your avatar in the lobby, and then go back to “event stories”

Then, pick one at random to hop into the aftershow (bottom left of your screen) for! it even works for ones that you’ve already viewed.

and you don’t have to watch the whole thing, just, like, 10 seconds and you’re good to go!

tekken tag tournament 2 is an odd game. It didn’t meet sales requirements due to no marketing??? But also oh my god it’s so not like other tag fighters x_x

like you have to beat ONE of the opponents to win which just. Is such a werid requirement / rule to me. I mean. Everyone knows that you can make an insane comeback with just one character on very little health (so long as you play your cards right). If this game got any genuine competitive play I’d be genuinely surprised because there’s sooo many things going on in the game.

shadow generations is so fucked i thought i got every collectable and S rank in every challenge level in the game and then the game is like, "when you activate doom mode MORE challenge levels will appear!" like please why i have almost 20 hours in this game and im not even halfway through 100%ing it yet :sobs:
