Every day in here I get proven right for not wanting to go to a Christian university. Like, fine, I'm coming to Rome and getting mad there are Romans, but god if literally everything isn't somehow related to the fact that they're Christians. Lightsaber Theory: Obi-Wan "Sith Lords are Our Specialty" Kenobi consistently loses duels to Dooku not for any reason of technical form mismatch or lack of ability, but because Dooku is not even pretending to try to kill him. Resultantly, Obi-Wan can’t figure out what the fuck is going on when they fight. 

Obi-Wan: (preparing to defend an expected lethal strike) You’ll answer for your enormities, Count!

Dooku: (giving him the lightest love tap on the leg) Don’t be so sure, my special good lineage baby boy, so perfect in my eyes.

Which Dooku and Obi-Wan proud lineage moment is even the most unhinged? There are so many to choose from! Is it Dooku’s frequent inability, both in AotC and TCW, to keep from spontaneously gushing about Sidious’s plans and even his own dark secrets to Obi-Wan?? Is it the time in Labyrinth of Evil where Dooku drags a long-suffering, bored Grievous over to watch a holorecording of Anakin and Obi-Wan thwarting his plans yet again, to point out how beautifully they’re working together as a team and how much he likes watching their lightsaber work evolve? Is it in the recent Brotherhood novel, where Obi-Wan just has to casually namedrop Qui-Gon to get Dooku to do exactly what he wants?

Obi-Wan is a big problem for Sidious in his mission to destabilize and corrupt Anakin, and Sidious knows it. He needs him out of the picture to do the same isolating, evil bullshit that worked so well when ensnaring Dooku himself. But the war has been going on for years now, and guess who remains inconveniently alive? And whose job was that to take care of? Oh yeah. I remember. His useless, Padawan assassin-collecting apprentice: fucking Count Dooku. By the time of RotS, Sidious has specifically ordered Dooku to make fucking sure Obi-Wan is dead only for him to completely ignore the command about a half-dozen times.

Going by the Stover RotS novelization, in the same scene where Dooku also literally refers to Obi-Wan as his fucking grandson actually, add that to our earlier list, Sidious reiterates that KILL OBI-WAN is the plan (over the sound of Dooku’s loud complaining) moments before that final duel.  I kind of wish we’d gotten a shot of Sidious's incredulous, enraged expression as Dooku knocks Obi-Wan unconscious and pins him safely out of the way. He is, once again, going out of his way to not kill Obi-Wan in that duel, and this time directly disobeying his Master to his face after they just had a conversation about it. You just know exactly what Sidious must be thinking at that moment. Oh, Dooku. You are so fucking fired.

Do you have any plans for Space King/Orbit Revolved/Draconian? I think if nothing else you could at least get *something* for them if you threw them up on itchio

I run across them sometimes and think about what I could do with them, but at this point I feel like they would be best served to be rewritten from the ground up. They were all made with me trying to come to terms with mobile game development when I had no idea what that was so in the case of Draconian everything is slow and floaty.

In some cases I patched them by boosting the framerates a little bit to speed up internal game logic, but that's a weird fix.

But like, with Space King, that needs to be a horizontal shooter, not vertical. You need more space to fit more ships on screen, and more space for them to fly in specific patterns.

For Draconian, I keep having ideas of "what if I made Spelunky, but you go up, not down." The original game had some element of that, but only very very very lightly (enemy placement randomization, basically).

Orbit is maybe the one game that's most of the way there already, but I want more music. It is ultimately something of a rhythm game.

But I dunno. I look back on those and I don't think I could release them as-is unless I put a gigantic disclaimer on them or something.

Did he and his wife end up having a daughter in the future too? What is even happening now? Maybe he'll ask Sanan or Hijikata if they know anything about this time-traveling thing and having alternate versions of themselves.

Landgraab High School Yearbook, circa 2014

This is an illustration of some of the teenage townies from the Sims 4 in a school yearbook. This is based on my own story I’m making inspired by these characters, which is why some of them look different to their original Maxis counterparts (I gave them in game makeovers since they’re important characters).

The main characters of this story are Cassandra Goth, Hugo Villareal, Wolfgang Munch, Morgan Fyres, and Malcolm Landgraab. Luna Villareal, Sofia Bjergsen, Yuki Behr and Darling Walsh are all important to the story as well. And of course all of the family members of the characters mentioned are very important. The story is a coming of age mystery drama with a little bit of romance and comedy. It revovles around the daily lives of these teen characters but takes a turning point when Bella Goth goes missing, which leads Cassandra and other characters to start an investigation looking for her. There is of course the whole matter of Jacques Villareal and Nancy Landgraab running a whole underground crime ring as well, so things get pretty crazy and dark secrets about the families are revealed as the investigation continues.

I’ve been really obsessed with drawing these guys lately, but I’ve barely had any time to play the actual game, so most of the story is in my head or written hastily in my notes app lol. Let me know if you guys want to see more Sims art inspired by my townie story! I’d love to delve more into each character and their relationships with one another. Maybe even make some comics?

If I was watching Bluey on a nice Sunday morning, who would like it best and why: Remmy, Liu, Carnis, Dea, Clem, or Sammy?

Oof- That's a tough one- Any of them would have a pleasant experience since they're watching it with you, but as for who would like the show itself most it's a tie between Liu, Carnis, and Dea.

Liu is a sucker for any shows/films that revovle strongly around family. They try not to watch TV besides the occasional cooking show for that very reason. Being that vulnerable around people especially in the early stages of your relationship makes them bashful. Liu thinks they'll have a peaceful morning with you, watching the silly dog cartoon only for it to end with them tightly clutching your arm - quietly inquiring when you'd like to watch it again.

Carnis can tell right from wrong in most medias, but they still some use things they learn from watching television to better integrate themselves with human society. A nice, family friendly show like bluey is perfect for them compared to shows and movies with excessive violence/gore which they've not a fan of, and teach them some life lessons the scientists in charge of them kept hidden. They also think the characters are cute.

Dea, similar to Liu, has a giant soft spot for comfort and community in human television. They're certainly more emotional about it than the butcher, and if they're not careful they'll wind up sobbing on your shoulder over a touching scene - tears flowing like a waterfall if you make the harmless mistake of consoling them. (They appreciate the thought, they're just a crybaby)

Building off the hallmark movie ask- I need to see them watch A Christmas Prince (idk if that's the right name). Girl who literally lies her way into the palace so she can do a news article, falls for the prince who does not want to do his job at all, important family/state secrets being held in a CHRISMAS TREE ORNAMENT (I hope I remembered that right), and the sequel with its brushed over economical crisis while the royals do cutesy couple shit and worry about a school play and whether a curse on the unborn baby is real. I just. I have thoughts about this franchise as someone whose mother loved them and I think the boys would also have Thoughts. Specifically the royals/royal associated, and obvi the film club.

Leona wants to fucking bite the sun with how frustrated this movie makes him. He's never been more upset at a fake prince in his whole life and he's dealt with at least three of them.

Malleus is deeply confused why this entire country revovles around Christmas. Like EVERYTHING has to be holiday centered or it's like...not cultural. He asks if Christmas came from this country. The answer is no and he says they have no excuse.

THE FUCKING CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT THING.
