Does WooCommerce handle returns?
WooCommerce provides some built-in functionality for handling returns, but it is fairly basic. To better manage returns and refunds, it is recommended to use a dedicated WooCommerce returns management plugin. Here are the key points:
WooCommerce has limited native support for returns and refunds. It lacks flexibility and advanced features needed by most stores.
To offer a good customer experience, it's important to have a clear returns policy and make the returns process easy for customers. Many customers expect a hassle-free returns option.
There are several WooCommerce returns management plugins that add more robust functionality, such as:
Allowing customers to initiate returns directly from their account page
Providing a branded returns portal for customers
Automatically generating return shipping labels
Sending automated updates on return status to reduce customer inquiries
Enabling partial refunds, store credit refunds, and automatic refund approvals
Key features to look for in a returns plugin include a customizable returns form, bulk return management, automated emails, and the ability to handle refunds and exchanges.
Some top WooCommerce returns plugins are WooCommerce Integration with AfterShip Returns, WooCommerce Smart Refunder, and Flexible Refund and Return Order for WooCommerce.
The WooCommerce RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) by WP Swings plugin offers a variety of key features designed to streamline the return, refund, and exchange processes for online stores. Here are the main functionalities:
Return Management: Customers can easily initiate return requests through their accounts, allowing for a straightforward process.
Exchange Management: The plugin supports product exchanges, enabling customers to swap items without hassle.
Refund Management: Admins can process refunds efficiently, including options for partial refunds and automated refund workflows.
Automated RMA Workflows: The plugin automates various steps in the RMA process, improving efficiency and reducing manual workload for store managers.
Customer Communication: It includes features for notifying customers about the status of their return requests via email, enhancing transparency.
Return Labels: The ability to generate return shipping labels simplifies the return process for customers, making it more convenient.
Inventory Management: The plugin helps track inventory levels accurately during the return process, ensuring that stock levels are updated correctly.
Multi-language Support: It is compatible with multiple languages, making it suitable for international stores.
Customizable Policies: Admins can set specific return policies and timeframes for different products, tailoring the experience to their business needs.
Image Uploads: Customers can upload images when submitting RMA requests, providing necessary documentation for the return.
Additional Features
The plugin is compatible with various WooCommerce extensions like Product Bundles, Gift Cards, and Bookings.
It supports multi-language and multi-currency stores.
Customers can upload images when submitting RMA requests for better documentation.
These features collectively enhance the customer experience by making returns and exchanges easier while also helping store owners manage these processes more effectively.

ok listen. listen. hear me out. what if Angel was the one to propose the contract
like.... the intensification of heartbreak and guilt when Val tells him 'I own you, or have you forgotten that?' as Angel looks at his signature, the heart he drew next to it. the extra layer in 'what's the worst part of this hell? I can only blame myself'. and above all it plays well with my observation that their contract had to have been composed with some level of input from Angel, because... why on earth/in hell would Val have given him control of his life outside of the studio; and while Val invokes the contract to put Angel back in 'his place', Angel invokes it to remind Valentino that he can defy him. It's actually similar in composition to a kink contract/agreement--if I'm in this specific place, you hold all the power and call the shots; but outside of it, I don't give you that level of control. Angel can straight up tell Val to fuck off in front of a crowd and all Val can do is say he'll make Angel regret it next time he's in the studio (and isn't that an extremely dark variation of the classic kinky romance beat of 'sub misbehaves when they're in public and can get away with it, dom promises they'll pay for it later'?)
so like. all of that about the contract also works if Val proposed it, but I love headcanoning that their relationship was on the rocks around the time it was signed, and one of the factors was Vox coming onto the scene... and so now i'm just thinking about Angel in his peak era of both-sides-ing their relationship problems, knowing his 'commitment issues' (partly real, partly consisting of val's 'you know other men??' issues) are a major cause, furious and disconcerted at someone else drawing so much of Val's attention, wanting to make a stupid desperate Hail Mary pass to save their relationship but devoid of the usual options of 'have kid' or 'impulsively propose marriage' or 'move to a new house that's inevitably haunted' i watch too much horror, going for the option of '...hey do you want to make the kind of binding contract that is accessible to us?'
and surely it's not that stupid! he's only really giving Val a formal version of the power he gives him already, right? Val's his dom and his director and manager, and maybe there's... problems but it's mostly been great for Angel so far, so if having it on (magic eternally binding) paper would make Val happy and make him understand that Angel really wants him, wants them, the risk is toooootally worth it. just, best not to tell Cherri about it she'd definitely think it was insane.
(and when, much later, she learns about the contract and berates him for being an idiot and not telling her when Val brought it up, maybe don't correct her assumption. just keep it to yourself and feel even worse.)

Something that compels me so much about Maglor/Luthien is that if you change Beren with Maglor, the quest for the silmaril becomes so much more juicy
Because, yeah, on one hand it's still a suicide quest designated to either make Maglor give up Luthien or die in the process of the quest, thus freeing Luthien.
But on the other hand, this is Maglor's family treasure he is asking as bride price (which also makes it an actually accurate as a bride price is supposed to be something the groom's family already has yk), Thingol is asking Maglor to give him the whole reason the Feanorians even left Aman in the first place, the thing Feanor died trying to re-take, the reason he has been fighting for years.
Not to mention that depending on how you decide to read the oath, Thingol is asking him to not only curse himself but his entire family for Luthien, asking him if a life with Luthien is worth eternal damnation.

Ghost gifts a single tiny ear loop to Soap one day. Says he noticed Soap had pierced ears. That rings keep from handling a gun or a knife properly. He doesn't make eye contact, tries to hide his face, even as he's already wearing his balaclava.
Soap blinks. Ghost has already given him gifts and only behaved that way for the very first one. He doesn't understand. The earring is very simple, but seems to be made of expensive material and not only covered with a thin leaf of gold.
"Didnae it come with another one?" he says, jokingly.
But Ghost flushes, turns his head, and lifts his mask, only enough for Soap to see the glinting of the other earring on his ear. Suddenly he understands that it's not simply a gift. Ghost favoured practicality, but he wanted to give him a ring.
He grabs his hand as it falls back down.
"Simon, what is this?" he asks softly, not daring to be hopeful just yet.
With his other hand, he reaches out to gently turn Simon's head back towards him. His cheeks and his nose are flushed, it makes the warmth of his dark eyes, generally hidden behind a sneer or a bored expression, undeniable.
He looks nervous. Johnny's heart is beating faster. Could it really be...?
"I know", Simon starts then pauses, uncertain. "I know I'm probably not what you thought you'd have, when you were younger" Soap wants to interrupt, to scoff, to protest that Simon is way better than anyone he could have hoped for, but doesn't. He never wants to cut off his love when he's barely starting to open up.
"I know that I'm not easy to be with some days, that I'm not friendly and easy going like you, like someone you'd deserved to be with." he continues, unconsciously pushing his face more into Soap's hand. "But... I love you, more than I thought I could, and I'd like... I'd like to be with you, for as long as you'd have me..."
Johnny's heart is soaring. He has no idea how to react. He'd have to get all the giddiness out first, and the moment doesn't seem appropriate for jumping around and squealing.
"Officially," Simon continues, voice quieter, out of breath. "If you want to."
A gigantic grin splits Johnny's face. All of his limbs are buzzing, he needs to stand up, to run, to explode something. But he's terrified to spook Simon so instead he just squeezes the hand he's holding rhythmically and moves his feet back and forth.
"Baby, are ye asking me tae marry ye?" Johnny says. He's pretty sure his voice is wobbly, but can't really hear it himself as the blood in his ears is louder than the rest.
Simon's eyes do something, what is visible of his face looks like he has an expression on but Johnny can't analyze it now, doesn't dare to see the hope in his eyes, the pleading in his brows.
"I... Yes, I guess I am," the love of his life says finally. "If you want to. You don't have to."
Soap can't keep himself in check any longer. He's making a high pitched noise, jumping up and down where he's seating on the bed, and throws himself at Simon.
"Of course ah fooking want tae!!!"
Simon lets out an excited giggle, swept in Johnny's mood, and tightens his arms around his lover. No, his fiancé.
This is the best day of his life. He just has to deal with this mission tomorrow, and then they can start to plan everything.
