why does it always have to be older bitter bitches that want to start beef at random pharmacy techs/interns? You never see male customers or younger customers acting like that. It's always the grown ass women over 45 (I would say over 40, but you cannot tell me that it's not gen x/boomers that do this shit), like y'all are too old to be acting like that, you have children, you cannot be acting like you're still 16, you pathetic waste of space. Like excuse me for being more successful and happier than your miserable ass lol

CVS Health Announces Leadership Change Amid Financial Struggles
CVS Health Announces Leadership Change Amid Struggles In a surprising move, CVS Health has removed its chief executive, Karen S. Lynch, from her position as the company grapples with sluggish growth and increasing pressure from investors. The board of directors has appointed David Joyner, who previously led CVS Caremark, the company’s pharmacy benefits manager unit, as the new chief executive…

wish i had this that time a customer stopped me in my pharmacy to ask me for help. I recognized them, they were a patient with us.
...however we were two states away from my home state and I absolutely had no clue where what they needed was.

I’ve been thinking about writing an op-ed piece about the working conditions as a pharmacy tech, the reasons all the major pharmacy chains in the US are doing so poorly, and just generally exposing how bad the industry is and trying to get it published somewhere, but I don’t know how to go about finding someone to publish something like that and even though I no longer work in the industry at all (and have no intention of ever doing so again) I’m worried about some kind retaliation. Should I leave well enough alone and say “that part of my life is over, just move on” or should I try to give everyday people an insight into why things are so bad in the world of pharmacy?

I work in a retail pharmacy and keep these handy. The waters are good for when we're busy as hell (especially the holidays/end of year) and I like the teas because they are low in sugar while still tasting good (I'm type2 diabetic and also a Southern Boy - gotta have my iced tea)
Surprised I hadn't seen this cross posted over here

Liquid Death is renaming their Armless Palmer iced tea and lemonade to Dead Billionaire because Arnold Palmer's estate threatened to sue for the use of the word Palmer. What a brand

Customer: I'd like Anginacin, please.
Me: Mh, never heard of that one, do you maybe mean Angocin? *shows customer the product*
Customer: Oh yes, that's it! Anginacin!
Me: 🙄

Hey, retail pharmacist here: if you are uninsured AND have a state ID, driver's license, and/or social security number, you get your COVID shot(s) for free. Anyone telling you otherwise is not correct.
Unfortunately, we do have to charge individuals now if they do not have either of these forms of ID. Previously, we did not charge anyone.
Additionally, for the insured folks out there: since we are required to try to bill insurance first, we also have to charge those whose insurance plans are not contracted with us (i.e. certain BC/BS plans at CVS, Express Scripts at Kroger, etc). That situation is easy to fix. Definitely take your business elsewhere. Because if your COVID shot (or another medication for that matter) is not covered at one retail pharmacy, it IS likely covered somewhere else, barring any, you know, stupid insurance shenanigans or limitations or whatever.
Couldn't get my covid booster because CVS isn't honoring their "free for uninsured until December 31st, 2024" bit on their site and it was going to cost me $190 to get it.
So I guess I'll just die.

Scheduled my flu and covid shots online
The website really asked me if I wanted to get my Tdap that day as well since "the cdc says you can receive up to FOUR immunizations at one time!"
Buddy I don't actually want go do flu and covid both at the same time except that I ran into Scheduling Issues, and I'm not taking any time off.
Why would I want to be miserable with THREE shots at once?
