not me missing Mint so much that even though I'm going to make that secondary save with Arisen Mint and Pawn Wildrose once I get back to Unmoored so I can easily make them some fashion to start with, I'm considering just skipping Aster and going back to Mint permanently on my main save.

Peter O'Toole, Sir David Lean, and "Lawrence-Editor-for Life" Anne Coates at sound-dubbing session in London studio. At top, Peter, Annes, and Sir David look over script. At center, Lean and O'Toole watch restored scenes which require new voice tracks. At bottom, O'Toole re-dubs dialogue for the restored "Seduction" scene. Harris's L.A. assistant Jude Schneider had previously organized lip-reading experts to interpret the dialogue "spoken" on restored scenes with missing sound tracks.

honestly modern art is fantastic conceptually because whether or not you personally enjoy it, the idea that something as simple as "canvas painted entirely one solid color" or "recontextualized everyday object" is enough to provoke ire in self-described "western traditionalists" (fascists) shows the sheer power of defying an established artistic convention as a statement and illuminates just how shockingly widespread these fascistic ideas are, even in the minds of leftists.
saw a lot of people in the notes of that post i rbed who were like "yeah but i still don't think a banana taped to a wall or dots on a canvas is art :/" and at that point i have to believe you're being willfully ignorant. it is inherently artistic in nature because there is a statement being made with putting something like that next to, say, a traditional canvas painting of a familiar subject because inevitably you walk away with one of two ideas:
that meaning can be ascribed to anything and that anything can be recontextualized as artistic in purpose, and that you understand that art extends beyond just the objective observation
that seeing a non-traditional method of artistic expression confirms your biases about what art is and isn't, thus proving its point: modern art is terrifying and powerful because it exists outside of the white western fascist's traditionalist notions of how the artist is to express themself, and whether by ignorance or lack of education, you are also subscribing to those ideas
you don't necessarily need to like it on a personal taste basis--modern art is evidently not for everyone--but the absolute least you can do is understand the movement, and why artists chose to express themselves in this way and how it is intrinsically tied to the rise of nazi-era fascism and how it is still used to this day by the alt-right to discredit jewish, lgbtq+, and generally leftist ideas and how the term 'degenerate' is used in a derogatory manner towards these groups and ways of thinking, as well as the unconventional artistic expression that rose from them.

Pink (or Blue) Frock Coat, November 1828.
Redingote de satin. Chapeau de satin doublé de velours orné de marabous saule.
Satin frock coat. Velvet-lined satin hat decorated with willowy marabous feathers.
"Redingote" in French translates to mean either the specific item of clothing called a redingote, or to more generally a "frock coat" - the difference can be told fairly easily, as a redingote does not close all the way in front, leaving the front part of the dress worn underneath visible.
