First of all misogyny doesn't see colour. Doesn't matter if you're white or black or brown, if you're a woman you're gonna experience misogyny. Just because she's white doesn't mean she should be harrassed like this. Jay-z is a billionaire with double the amount of money Taylor has. Pretty sure his companies damage the environment is some way like we all do. So why is no one angry at him and why is his fake naked body not getting viral? Idk maybe the men who are making these ai are only making images of women's bodies bc they know most men who are the audience of these images are not gonna enjoy a man's naked body the way they would enjoy a woman's. And if it happened to Rihanna, who's also a billionaire, everyone would scream racism and be sympathetic.

Yes Taylor is ultra famous rn so she'd be easy target. But this can happen to anyone. If this happens to an average girl who's explicit ai photos get posted on the internet without her knowledge and the whole town is talking about her, can you imagine the the trauma she and her family would have. Now imagine the trauma Taylor and her family is experiencing while the whole world see her naked body which is not actually her body. Especially bc she was actually sexually assaulted when she was younger and couldn't speak out at the moment. No amount of money can make you immune to harrasment and forget this kind of experience. She's being stalked everyday and the stalker gets released everytime for some reason. How would you feel if you were not safe in your own house? Wherever she goes a huge crowd gathers. How is she supposed to know who has good intention and who doesn't! Anything can happen to her at any moment. I don't care if she's a billionaire as long as she spends her money on good purpose. She worked hard for whatever she's got. Do you expect her to throw all her money in the ocean? Would that make you more happy than her helping other people in need with her money?

You may not like her or her music. That's okay. It's not about that. But if you think this is what she deserves for being a billionaire and having a jet then you are as bad as the ones making those disgusting images. No matter what she's still a human.

Also, every fucking woman on this earth should be angry about this not just Taylor's fans, this could happen to any of us. And every man who cares about the women in their lives should be mad too.

billboard said “we included a clip that falsely depicted [taylor]” in their apology… that’s an interesting euphemism for “sexual harassment that traumatised, dehumanised, and violated her.” that revenge porn music video existing on youtube to this day is horrific enough as it is, but the fact that someone at billboard brought it back up now — eight years after it was released — in a video celebrating her various achievements is just vile and abhorrent. i’m glad they apologised at all, but either wilfully or ignorantly using a clip of revenge porn isn’t just a minor “error” — it’s wildly unethical and disrespectful.

but fr outside of my contracted madness i absolutely refuse to give joe alwyn gold rush like how is that song at all related to their relationship the lyrics clearly spell out a relationship that either never existed or only existed in implication and fantasies and maybe-maybe nots and its so bitter and yet desperately soft in the bridge where it almost projects a sense of envy, of wanting to be them as much as you want them. It continues an interesting oft ignored lyrical trend of taylor wanting just as much to be her lover as to have them, envying their easy charisma (you were flush with the currency of cool/i was always turning out my pockets) or quiet dignity (your integrity makes me seem small) dating back to her earliest songs (the kind of flawless i wish i could be). Theres a projected self hatred and yearning to be better that twists itself into both romantic and sexual lust for her partners thats so fascinating and speaks to how all of her songs regardless of who theyre about are also an act of self reflection on who she is and who she wishes to be.

The Bad Batch as People You See at a Taylor Swift Concert (in Honor of Crosshair being a Swiftie)

Hunter- The dad who’s a little confused but he’s got the spirit. He knows a few words to the popular songs and is looking around to make sure everyone is being safe and having a good time. Will let someone use his phone to call someone if they’re lost. Probably wearing a Chiefs shirt with “Go Taylor’s boyfriend” written on it or something similar.

Wrecker- The person with over a thousand friendship bracelets that they made to exchange and give away to people. The most wholesome person at the concert who afterwards will be in everyone’s story time videos as a wholesome and positive anecdote. Probably dressed as the Lover Era or 1989 Era.

Tech- Explaining all the lore, hidden meanings, and Easter eggs in the songs. Has very strong opinions and theories and can and will engage in debate (all in good fun of course).

Crosshair- Dressed as the Reputation Era of course. The person recording parts of the concert and singing at the top of their lungs the whole time. Somehow knows all the words to every song. Cries so hard during certain songs that you’re genuinely concerned for their health and wonder who hurt them (he’s just like me fr)

Omega- The kid at their first concert (this was me during the Speak Now Tour!) who is very excited to see Taylor Swift and probably first got into her from an older influence (Crosshair) being a fan of hers. Most likely dressed in Speak Now or Fearless Era, but could also be Lover.

Echo- The mom having the time of her life who may or may not have dressed up with her kiddos. Probably tipsy or drunk and spends the whole concert either singing and dancing along or taking a million pictures of her kids. Probably will also engage in very passionate discussions, either with Tech or with someone else; probably has personal beef with at least one of Taylor’s exes.

Hey, I told you a while back that I was entering a radio contest to win Taylor Swift tickets and a bunch of money in order to donate it. “i have a hot take: she ruined this weekend shows” is one of the worst takes i have come across. taylor gave the eras tour, this labor of love, her all over the last two years. declaring that she “ruined” these last three shows because she didn’t make any extravagant announcements and wore the same outfits — presumably for the sake of a future project that will give us even more of a look inside the tour — is absolutely ludicrous. your unreasonable expectations “ruined” the shows, not her.

Both celebrities have the ability to encourage their fans to boycott brands listed on the BDS list, both celebrities have the ability to encourage their fans to call and email their reps, both celebrities have the ability to encourage their fans to educate themselves about Palestine and post about the war on Gaza - but they won't because they don't actually care about human life, they care about being "politically correct" and not doing anything that will cost them money.

Selena who has always stood for kindness has shown her lack of it with regards to Palestine. Taylor who has always stood for activism has shown her hypocrisy by not only polluting this world with her private jet but also by refusing to even address the on-going genocide.

Liking their music does not inherently mean you are a bad person but defending their actions and endorsing them will make me question your moral stance.

Don't say you support Palestine when you support celebrities like them. And don't clain that they are kind souls when they have done nothing to spread awareness about Palestine. They chose ignorance, they chose silence and they chose to stand with the oppressor.
