when terry is 15 he tries out for the high school soccer team. he doesn't really care if he gets on the team or not, but he thought it would be fun to try. And Grant was trying out too so there was really no downside to it. Ron gets there early to pick him up from tryouts. (He had promised himself when he legally adopted TJ that he would always be on time. Never leave TJ wondering if he had been forgotten). He caught the tail end of the coach screaming at the kids. Ron knew it motivated some kids. he knew it could be an effective tactic. So he clenches his fists and sets his jaw, trying not to lose it. This doesn't last very long. when the coach screams directly at Terry, Ron sees red. "Stampler could you be any more useless?! Get your ass out-" the coach doesn't get the rest of his words out before Ron is in his face, so suddenly that the coach actually stumbles back. "don’t you dare call him useless" ron screams at him. actually red with anger. Darryl had shown up then. also early cause he promised Grant he wouldn't embarrass him but its Darryl so of course he showed up early. he pulls Ron off the coach. Ron almost punches him. "Terry i'll be in the car" He says gruffly. Not wanting to embarrass his son but also so angry at the coach he can barely see straight. it scared him. When terry gets in the car about ten minutes later, Ron has only calmed slightly. "sorry" he mumbles, genuinely. "Didn't mean to lose my temper like that" Terry shrugs "'salright. the coach is a dick anyways. I'd rather keep playing for Darryl anyways" Ron nods, and they sit in silence for a few more minutes. “You're not useless." Ron says out of nowhere. "You know that right?" Terry smiles, looking out the window "Yes Dad, i know" And finally, Ron relaxes a bit.

But Dungeons and Daddies has a character who is made of mostly their own recycled piss. And is a beloved NPC. Simulacrums that always read as pregnant on pregnancy tests would be a pretty average bit.

Grants house is always clean. It has to be. Things out of place make him spiral. Marco knows that grant always always means well but he copes with cleaning. With scrubbing has hands till they’re raw, always seeing someone else’s blood on them. The cool weight of a gun feels like home in his hand and it terrifies him. It’s why he encourages Lincoln to share his feelings and talk and express himself through everything and anything he wants to because he never ever wants Lincoln to have to feel the way he feels everyday. He doesn’t want Lincoln to have to resort to murder to have to feel something. But sons turn out like their dads one way or another, and Grant can only pray that Lincoln turns out like Marco
