just a silly little reminder ron was (probably) never able to properly heal from the trauma Willy caused him, not just because he had blocked some of it out and was thrown back into it (see here)  but then also because for the rest of his life he had to live knowing Willy was some forty floors beneath him but that thing he helped create took over the sky above him too and finally its too much one day Ron makes a decision and goes out to the lake his dad died in in a boat his nephew leant him with a bottle of beer he couldn’t stand to drink and a pair of shorts he could never wear and then ron is never seen again  and maybe just maybe in his final moments of living, the only thought that comes as a comfort to Terry Jr.’s mind is maybe he’ll see his dad again and then he dies

I never see it talked about but I firmly believe it’s Terry Senior that was french and not the vampire impersonator, bc then we can have bilingual TJ who grew up speaking both english and french

Romantically! I have been a Tergrant shipper since way back in s1, even before I knew we’d see them again in s2, I’ve held the headcanon that they dated in high school. To me! They are very much a Right Person Wrong Time type of ship, there are many timelines where they end up together

I also ship him with Veronica, we rarely get to see her, so to me, she’s a former goth, closet twilight renaissance girlie, and the two of them nerd out over both being former goths

Oh oh, and I love the idea of him and Lark having a single awkward kiss they don’t speak about/an office hookup bc it’s funny to me

Ugh, okay, I’m… nervous to admit this one and I’m politely begging people to be nice here, but I’ve always pictured him as white. From day one, he’s looked a bit similar to Ron Stoppable to me and I weirded up his design from there as I went.

I think it was a word association thing tbh, bc he’d been described as “blond” and then Ron’s name was said

To me, he’s the one friend who is glow in the dark, and everyone hounds him about sunblock, while he reminds them that melanin doesn’t protect them all from skin cancer.

To be super clear about that, I love the versions of him that are black, I adore them. But! I got into the fandom really late despite listening since s1, and ended up picturing him differently.

I picture visual headcanons to work like Spiderverse, all the TJ’s imagined by each of us could theoretically meet if we got real fucky with time and space : D

I wish we’d gotten to hear TJ talk to Grant after the Chimera, but Darryl interrupted and I am HAUNTED about it bc what were they going to talk about, I need to knowwww, what if Grant got to have a kiss from the person he never expected!!! : O

i have a lot of thoughts and they’re all about how Ron Stampler didn’t have a childhood (also i fucking hate JK Rowling she’s an actual ass and I in no way shape or form condone her actions or words but i had this idea at like 3 am and it made me cry)  the first time Ron watched the harry potter movies was with Terry Jr. Samantha had to be gone for a couple days, and thought it would be a good opportunity for the two of them to get to know each other. So thats how they ended up eating cold pizza  and sitting on the couch (they weren't supposed to eat in the living room but ron had secretly texted and asked permission) and watching the sorcerers stone. TJ thought it was both endearing and weird how Ron knew literally NOTHING about the films or the books. How he laughed at everything, no matter how cheesy, no matter how predictable. And it was genuine. Every. single. time. He gasped at all the right moments and didn't try to talk over the movie (one of terry's pet peeves). They watched the first three movies that night. Samantha was supposed to be gone until two days later. So after work the next day ron ran to the store and got everything the online recipe told him to. Terry and him (mostly terry, ron was happy to let him take the lead on this) made homemade butterbeer real quick. Terry thought it was a bit strange, but then Ron made an offhand comment about how "my dad never really cared about spending time together. never wanted to be my friend." with a shrug. Terry realized that while he may suck, and while he will never replace his dad, Ron was trying. And Terry decided he would let him

I’m so tired of people saying TJ would be the best at therapy

He would be the worst. without a doubt.

Homeboy is so fucking self aware. He knows he’s traumatized. He knows he has PTSD. he knows why he’s acting the way he is and he knows it’s justified he doesn’t NEED someone to explain to him why his brain is working the way it is.

He goes to therapy because he knows it’s “important” and “can help” but he only really talks about day to day shit going on in his life.

He doesn’t dig into the “deep shit” cause he’s already psychoanalyzed himself to the point of no return

He’s good at talking to his friends BECAUSE he’s good at psychology. He’s good at connecting behaviors to emotions, emotions to experiences and so on. he never addresses the problem because he thinks knowing the root of the problem is the same as fixing it

i have so many thoughts and they’re all about how Ron F. Stamper deserved better Ron didn’t know it was Father’s Day. He really really didn’t. They had never celebrated it before, and the memories associated with the date had been pushed so far down in his subconscious it wasn’t even an option anymore. So when Terry Jr and Samantha sat him down one Sunday in June, he was scared. Terry jr was 17 at the time, and Ron and Samantha had been married for just over five years. So when Ron opened the manila envelope Terry Jr handed him, he hadn’t expected anything good. He still didn’t understand when he read the words “Adoption certificate”. Terry jr patiently explained to him that while Ron might not be his first father, he wanted him to do be his Dad. Ron started crying before he even finished explaining it. This moment was all he had ever wanted. To be a dad who’s kid actually loved him, made him feel safe and wanted to be around him. Everything he wanted as a kid. Needless to say, Ron said yes, and had his first Father’s Day
