i have an issue I see with ppl trying to make shippers "understand" their ship could not become canon, and I dont think many would expect it.

Why are we pretending being in your late 30s is being middle age? Dont get me wrong, being a middle aged person doesn't have to mean anything about someone, but its just- not middle age literally.

I dont really understand bringing that up anyways, iit feels wrong to me to believe just ppl in their teens and 20s could ever do anything pro LGBT+ in general... I find it insulting, as if this is a new thing or impossible to believe older people could believe in queerness in a positive light or be queer themselves. The main reason in the west, and im assuming other parts of the world, there arent as many or as visible is, well, because people were dying because of the AIDS crisis + the isolation from being older and every single public space made for or just young queers or cishet older adults.

I get the point, but if I remember correctly every time I see someone trying to do that (of course im believing they have the best intentions in mind), they have to bring up how this is a Japanese middle aged man as a good enough reason.

I don't really mind about what others want to believe or how much they care in terms of shipping -if you prefer to be casual and not paying that much attention to what's canon or not, good for you! Many ppl are also like that and its completely valid, here in this side of Tumblr might seem like all of us believe and theorize about their endgame potential bc we are the ones that usually make more posts or longer content. But I dont like those assumptions about queerness being tied to young westerners, and I wanted to rant a little bit.

Again, I dont believe that was the intention in any of those posts, and im not trying to call out anyone, just rant.

mr dipshit right after a vet visit HE CAUSED!!!

#not to tmi it but. he barfed‚ then shat on the floor just Casually no resistence. and made no effort to move away from his own poopflow.#so he just Laid There for a second while i held his tail up to offer him the bare minimum dignity of not getting it covered in poop.#and then eventually moved him away when he was Done With That y'know. bc he wasn't planning on it evidently #and that whole time he was just drooling and wheezing. having like a whole freakout #for about 30-45 minutes of the carride he offered 0 resistence for the situation and was just completely limp and out of it.#then just sort of. slowly perked up. Realised he was in a car. and was Offended to put it lightly.#not that he's ever a hassle he was just kinda crying and wiggleworming a bit to look around confused. teenage boy who just woke up style #but yeah. basically fine by the time we got there so they just said Lol looks fine! i swear to god i do more work in three hours in this job than i did in ten months at the other job lolllll. but i can’t even be too resentful towards old job because 1) i’m out of it and never have to think of it again YIPPEE and 2) the timing of that job (specifically my lead escalating shit to Unbearable Misery Levels) enabled me to be in exactly the right place & right time to apply for this job.

#i am all amped up #partly from knocking out a bunch of shit this morning #and partly from the lowgrade hum of pregnancy-related anxiety #ultrasound scheduled for sunday morning #which feels sooooo far away #but i guess i just have to get through three days after today #i wish interviews were this week so i could kill a bunch of time that way lol #i need to be prepared for the slow rising levels to mean bad news on the ultrasound #but i am also trying to not fret too much or read The Forums #kinda wish i had one more blood test to reassure me or help me brace myself but #trying to also resist the Hunger for Data as i know it is just an emotional desire to assert some semblance of control #over a process i ultimately cannot control in any meaningful way #anywayyyy ok #killing 20 min before my last meeting #then i'm going to drive home and try to listen to a webinar in my car #then i can be done since i started at 6:45 this morning
