11 Aug 2017. Has anyone watched #AnneWithAnE yet? The first episode didn't have me hooked when I watched it WEEKS ago, but I binge-watched the rest of it last weekend and now I miss it. It's obviously not a faithful adaptation of #AnneOfGreenGables, but it does have the same kind of charm and the characters are always going to be engaging. How many times have I reread this series? 4-5 times? I don't know it could be more but the point is: I really really love this series. At first it was a cover buy and then bam! Plus, the Disney version (both animated and live action) both make me go 😆🥀. ⭐Who is your favorite fairy tale villain? This might be all the cold/October-y/autumn weather talking, but Bluebeard is *so* evil! He's a great villain. ⭐Favorite fairytale adaptation (in the last 5 years)? There have been so many! But I'm gonna have to go with the recent live action version of Beauty and the Beast. I think they did a really great job, and I adore Emma Watson 💗. ⭐Favorite fairytale teller? I do love me some Charles Perrault, but the Grimm brothers come out on top every time for me. ⭐ Fairytale that made me cry? They push young YA readers to really think about the importance of life, power, politics, and taking a stand. Sure they started a crazy hype for dystopian fiction, and many of those following stories were just blah... and so we tend to lump these with those, but I think The Hunger Games were totally worth all the hype... if I will forever be #teamgale .
