IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ACOWAR 👋 SORRY GUYS! • • • 🎶I will go down with this ship.🎶 Hello Puddings 💜 This was one of my favorite pages to color in the ACOTAR coloring book and one of my favorite scenes of ACOWAR. I loved ACOWAR. I gave it 5 stars and *shock* I LOVED IT MORE THAN ACOMAF. Yes, you heard me. ACOMAF is beautiful, but being a fan on both of Sarah's series I found ACOTAR to lack the incredible world building of Throne of Glass. It had AMAZING characters and relationships...but the world was a little lacking. ACOWAR flipped the tables in my opinion. The world that I knew I loved is HERE, in this book. And while I love Rhys and Feyre, it was wonderful for the spotlight to finally shine more on the side characters. We get to know more of the Archeron sisters (that I loved), we see more of Azriel (😍), we finally learn why Mor friendzones Az for 500 years!!!! AND WE MEET THE HIGH LORDS! I truly believe Sarah could not write a better book given the LIMITED FIRST PERSON POV. And Elriel. They were the biggest highlight for me. It is the simplicity of their relationship, how easily they just click and how comfortable and strong they make one another. It is exactly what I would love for myself. And have you noticed the only two moments Elain is violent is when Az is attacked and when she stabs Hybern to protect Nesta? Coincidence? I THINK NOT! I could write manuals on all the reasons why they are perfect and why I think we will get A LOT of them in the future. And since a lot of you said I am like Elain and Azriel is my hubby, I call this a win. Is this Elriel? Is this Cazriel? The choice is yours! • QoTD: What was your favorite scene in ACOWAR? Tomorrow, however, I shall tackle the slump with Legion by Julie Kagawa. I didn't like it guys. I rarely give one star to a book but this was...no. Didn't like it at all. Buuuuut I am going to start The Song of Achilles today so I am very excited about that! • Note on the picture: my ToG coloring book goddess was Luna (lu-cien.tumblr.com). It's thanks to her that I have most of the drawings in color because I have yet to buy it myself. She is also my salvation when it comes to finding SJM related artwork from new artists and hilarious posts about the series. In short, I adore her and if you have Tumblr, definitely check her out. • Two QOTD today! 1) (also #acomay) Who is your favorite vain character? My answer is and forever will be Aelin in Throne of Glass. 2) Who is your least favorite love interest? My list is eternal.
