Easy recipe for canned tuna lovers

Canned tuna is one of Filipinos go to pantry staples. It is quick to cook and easy breakfast, lunch or dinner solution. Tuna with cabbage is my go to dish. Actually I had two go to dishes: this one and the tuna with egg. This dishes taught me a valuable lesson to appreciate the simple things in life. My Mom usually make this dish for breakfast and it was really good especially if she add lots of cabbage in it. It can increase your appetite and make you enjoy your meal even better.
This are the ingredients of Tuna Repolyo:
1/4 large cabbage or 1/2 small cabbage, chopped into bite sized pieces
1 canned tuna
1-2 tablespoons soy sauce
cooking oil or oil from the tuna can
pepper (optional)
Procedure:
Put the oil and add in the cabbage. Once the cabbage is tender, add the tuna. Stir. Add soy sauce (and pepper) and mix for 4-5 minutes
Share and enjoy!*** You can eat it as an appetizer too or with rice.

Kapitbahay : magpapansit ka? ang bango amoy na amoy mukhang masarap na agad.
Me : hindi po magpapansit, are po ay sa mga aso po namin.
Kapitbahay : kainaman na! aso lang ay pagkain na ng isang pamilya yan ng buong araw.
Me : pamilya din po namin mga aso, pusa, ibon at isda dito sa bahay namin.
Pagkain ni Choco 🐶 na may singen paste for recovery diet.

Tipid na ulam 😅
Mahal pag bili nang bili ng cooked food for baon and dinner, so dapat mag luto talaga. Yung mga niluluto ko palang is madadali na mura ang ingredients tapos tatagal ng halos 1 week.
Para dumami yung ulam, nilalagyan ko nalang ng repolyo hahaha. Ganun din ginagawa nila mommy at daddy pag nag titipid, ngayon ko nalang na-gets, dati kasi nag iinarte ako pag biglang merong repolyo ang ulam lol. Yung giniling naman halos 1 week din siguro tinagal sakin, salitan sila nung creamy mixed veggies. Sobrang tipid! Next na tinatarget ko na tipid ay munggo haha pero baka subukan ko mag Bicol Express and Pork Binagoongan dahil halos same lang sila ng ingredients.

• ang sarap ng lunch ko, paotsin. skl favorite ko ang siomai/dimsum/sharksfin like kung malungkot siguro ako at 100 pesos nalang pera ko bibili akong siomai tapos uuwi na akong masaya. tapos with maraming sili kasi ang boring ng pagkain pag di spicy? 🌶️

• di na dapat ako magdidinner but i saw repolyo sa ref so i cooked! ang sarap ng luto ko promise walang halong biro 🥰 sahog niyan ay hungarian sausage never thought na bagay sila
• and now, i’ll end this day crying & seeking & praising. feeling ko after everything i did today mabigat padin ang damdamin ko, i need to let this out.

My Meals for the Day: March 24, 2024
Dinner time:
Pritong Tilapia at Daing
Ginisang Repolyo at Carrots (Cabbage and Carrots Stir fry)

Cooked it myself
Cooked for 5 people
Total prep+cook time: 57 minutes
Recipes: no recipe followed, just winged it.
Wash then season tilapia with salt and pepper then fry until golden brown. Suggested Dipping sauce: few tsp of soy sauce, squeeze one Calamansi, half tsp of chili garlic oil/crispy chili garlic oil. Done
Fry Daing/Salted dried fish ‘til golden brown and crispy. Suggested dipping sauce: Seasoned vinegar (I prefer the sweet and spicy kind). Done
Cut veggies, I did minced for garlic and onion then thin strips for cabbage and carrots
Sauté onion then garlic in a pan with oil for few seconds ‘til garlic is slightly brown and onion is translucent
Add carrots then toss for 2-3 mins
Add seasoning, mine is: pinch of Salt and pepper to taste, few dashes of msg, dash of soy sauce, 1-2 tsp of sugar.
Add cabbage, stir fry until cabbage is cooked but not soggy. Done.

Dear God,
Thankful and blessed today. All is well after my 25 hours duty. I ate yogurt for breakfast. I arrived home safely. I had my self and skin care routine. I drank my vitamins and medicines. I slept until 3PM plus and I woke up early because the air-con inside the room is not functioning. I cooked my meal which is tuna with repolyo. I ate it with brown rice. I ate hopia mongo and leche flan. I was full after. I scrolled my social media accounts, chatted my family and friends. I played cooking fever. I watched random videos. I prepared myself for 1 hour duty. I arrived at Saif’s house safely. I cared and monitored my patient with the help of you Oh God. I had chit chats again with Ate Carme. I did cortex. 1 hour duty ended and I arrived home safely. I prepared myself for workout. I while doing exercise, I did laundry. I had 30 minutes indoor bicycle and 1 minute planking. I read few pages of the Bible. I drank my vitamins. Laundry is done and I hanged them to dry. I ate sweets that Jen shared to us. I will watched Meg part 2. Have mercy on us Oh God. Guide us always to the right path. Remove sickness, danger and negative things in our life. Answer our prayers in your perfect time. Thank you and I love you God.

Oo alam kong sobrang huli nako pero kailangan ko pa ring magbilang. Magbilang ng isa hanggang sampu para hindi ko makalimutan ang naramdaman ko sa panunuod ng KITA KITA. ISA. mag-isa lang akong nanuod ng Kita kita. 😂 DALAWA. Dalawang magkatulad na salita na may magkaibang diin at kahulugan ang bumuo sa titulo ng pelikula. Napakasimpleng titulo pero nakakamangha ang kwento. TATLO. tatlong beses akong umiyak dahil sa lungkot na dulot ng mga dulong eksena. Di ko akalaing ganoon pala ang katapusan ng pelikula. APAT. Sa apat na letra ko ilalarawan si Tonyo. 'POGI'. Pogi mo Tonyo! Iba ang kagwapuhan mo sa lahat ng mga bidang lalaki na napanuod ko. LIMA.
