Roommaarriage
Luffy and Law live togheter.
They started living together after Luffy's older brother, Ace, decided to go on a trip around the world with his friends. Luffy was left alone and besides being terrible at taking care of himself, he hates loneliness.but none of his friends had space for him, already having their own roommates or living with their parents. So, Law proposes that they live together, he lives in a huge house and has a huge crush on Luffy, it doesn't hurt to help the guy he likes, even if it can cause a lot of headaches. and hes right, in less than a week everything is already a mess, Luffy's friends come to visit, everything is noisy and so chaotic in the house that used to always be quiet and peaceful.
Still, he persists, determined not to go back on his decision and simply kick Luffy out of the house. That's when everything gets confusing; Luffy was always clingy and honest with how he felt, but since he moved in with Law, this has become more frequent and more intense.He hugs Law in the morning when he wakes up, kisses him on the forehead to thank him for the food, he carries Law when he decides that Law has to sleep no matter what, he sits on Law's lap when they are watching TV, he goes to the hospital to remember Law of eating and worst of all: he often, all the time, at any time, in any place, on any occasion, tells Law that he loves him. And it just drives Law crazy. He knows it's not a lie, Luffy doesn't lie. Luffy loves him, it's just not the love Law wants it to be
All of their domesticity, all of their intimacy, all of it drives Law crazy. He wants all of it, but he also wants more. He is in love with Luffy and has no idea what to do, after all he doesn't want to just ruin their friendship and lose it all because of his greed. So, after months of freaking out about all this, he decides that what's best for everyone is if he puts some boundaries between them, draws a firm line between them, friendship, something less intimate and less...suggestive. something that allows him to sleep properly at night.
Meanwhile, Luffy is confused, Torao has been acting strangely, moving away from him, not letting him touch him or kiss him, almost like in the beginning, when he moved in and Law was still shy. Could this be what people call problems in paradise? WILL TORAO FILE FOR DIVORCE? And suddenly Law has Luffy's friends calling desperately wanting to know what happened? Why are they getting divorced so soon? Why is Luffy depressed about the end of their marriage? Why is the marriage ending in the first place???

I kiss him. landlord did not send me the lease until today. i signed it and have done everything except pay the prorated rent. they wont give me access to the apartment until i pay. however, the amount they're asking for is based off the full rental amount and not based on what should be my portion. i dont know what my portion will exactly be, the housing people haven't told me. emailed the housing people, i get an autoresponse "hey we're closed today! we'll respond next business day (monday) (day after ur supposed to move)." this is funny to me, bc landlord had to send the signed lease over to the housing people and housing people sent me a form earlier today, so like. someone *was* working.

Hey Ontario folks, since we're in the time of year when the temperature is dropping but a lot of landlords haven't bothered to turn the heat on yet, the Landlord Tenant Board requires that rental units in Ontario be heated to 20 degrees C from Sept 1 - June 15. Your local municipality might set the requirement higher - for example, in mine it's 21 degrees C throughout the year.
Please note that this only applies to units where your landlord provides heat - so, for example, in an apartment where the heat is controlled by the landlord, not in a house you rent where you can turn the heat up and down. (Also worth noting that if you live in the same unit as your landlord - for example, renting a room in your landlord's house - LTB regulations do not apply to you.)
But yeah if it's fucking cold in your apartment or rental unit and you don't control the heat, ask your landlord to turn it on - and if they're an asshole about it, and the LTB covers you, call them on it or file a complaint.
And if you're not sure about how cold/warm your place is, buy one of those cheap outdoor thermometers and keep it somewhere. I bought one last year just so I could call my landlord on keeping the place like 4 degrees below the requirement.
I can't speak for other places, but most will have similar heat requirements, so check your local tenancy laws!!

Do people commission artists/caligraphers for hyousatsu or how does it work? Especially with uncommon names or styles.
It hadn't occurred to me that you might commission them, how interesting! Google says that does happen, but I believe it's mostly from design companies. My icon is actually from a simulator like this where you can input text and try out different typefaces, designs, materials, etc.
If you wanna try it out, click the left icon ("Choose from series") to see all the different templates. (Or choose by door type [middle] or from the gallery [right].) If you find one you like, click the green button below it. From there it's mostly self-explanatory regardless of Japanese ability :)

#borbtalks#yay i love unexpected additions to my budget#yay i love new policies that make it so im paying extra for shit i can't even use#(mandatory parking spot getting new permit system. permit is tied to a vehicle. i don't own a car.#i can't get a permit for guests to use my spot. im effectively paying for a parking spot i can't even use.#have already asked landlord if i can stop paying for it. since their new rules make it so i can't even use it)#(and like 95% of rental assistance programs like the one i use will help with utility payments. but not the one im in !!#which they don't make fucking clear on their site !!!#and of course the unit i picked i have to pay all the utilities on my own !!!!#AND they just changed policies so if i had signed my lease after the new year i could've gotten a much cheaper rent#BUT NO IM UNLUCKY AND HAD TO MOVE OUT BEFORE I KILLED MYSELF. BC SPENDING XMAS WITH MY FAMILY WOULD'VE DONE THAT#aha.#medicaid suggested i should apply for food stamps even before i moved out#but according to a calculator. even with all my new housing costs with rent and utilities. i would only get the absolute minimum in snap#besties is a stressful interview + application process worth it for only $20/a month#like woohoo. i could get a teensy bit of money off my grocery bill. this is totally worth it /s)#dont get me wrong i would choose this stress over living with my parents any day. but that doesn't mean this isn't stressful

i was dumb and misread a tenancy agreement as a rental application when i was signing it (which i would have signed anyway but it speeds the process up a bit lmao) so NOW im almost definitely moving into an apartment with my sister on march 1st which is exciting!! big things to come!!! bob's burgers calenders to hang etc

got to sleep in for 1/2 hour before fridge woke me up with a horrid grinding sound, what a luxurious way to begin my weekend

Spent the entire day burning whatever admiration and respect at least three of my employees have for me by being unable to read signs or follow gps directions while driving 🙃🙃🙃
#legit got lost in the rental car garage for like an HOUR#because it is an inescapable labyrinth if you miss a single sign#and no one knew how to direct us to the right place#until one angel at enterprise finally helped us#then i missed like three or four different turns driving to the hotel#anyway driving in a new area is FUN#especially with spectators
