See, when people ask me what I would do in my life if I had more time, I say things like sleeping or writing or traveling. It’s a lie. I would be editing the Lockwood and Co TV show to see how many times you could replace Lockwood or Lucy’s face with a heart eyes emoji and no notable difference.

Look, the fact that the Golden Blade pulls a gun on Lockwood at the cemetery in episode 8 is so freaking funny to me. Because it's the same night as the auction, where he clearly didn't have a gun or he would have used it on the roof. And maybe he just left his gun in his car, but my personal belief is at some point after watching Lockwood and Lucy chaos gremlin themselves into and out of an underworld auction and yeet into the Thames he just... looked at his fancy gold plated rapier, thought "this is not going to be enough weapon", and went back to his flat or whatever to grab his pistol before continuing to chase them down. And that is so hilarious to me, you don't understand

Supernatural Fandom, y’all still kickin here?
Dunno how many of you caught Ruth Connell aka Rowena appear in the Netflix show Dead Boy Detectives, but she was phenomenal. The cast and writers were all impeccable, and the characters and story were so whimsical and complex. Both Misha Collins and Richard Speight Jr. backed the show on their socials and for good reason- it was the best show I never knew I needed!
Of Course, Netflix took it upon themselves to cancel it. They waited four months for a long weekend to launch the announcement through a separate news source like the cowards they are- so how about a little chaos? They screwed the creatives out of their jobs and dragged it out for months- not to mention the actors.
Maybe you saw the show and it wasn’t your cup of tea, maybe you didn’t even hear about it because Netflix and marketing their YA Fantasy is about as likely as Destiel getting a happy ending. 30 seconds to sign the petition, maybe leave a comment here or there on Netflix’s page, use the plethora of gifs that have never once gathered dust. Make a money grubbing entertainment corporation run around like a chicken with its head cut off.

I feel like one of the many reasons Lockwood has such an ego complex, such a desire to be great and famous, and to make the Lockwood name go down in history is because it’s what his parents deserved, and they never received any of the fame. And by gods, if no one will give them credit for solving the Problem and being two of the brightest researchers of their age, he’ll make their name great despite it.
He might have failed once, but he won’t do it again.
He’ll make them proud to call him their son.

Sure, George is the third wheel.
If by third wheel you mean the front wheel of a tricycle friendship, which falls apart immediately if you remove even one of said wheels, and the little toddler riding it ends up with a face-full of pavement and disappointment. The whole of 35 Portland Row would probably be reduced to ashes without him, at this point.

hc that lockwood was out running an errand earlier on the morning of Lucy's interview and saw a pretty girl looking into a shop window and was taken aback by how pretty she was and ran home to tell george. george could honestly care less but lockwood is so happy because he noticed that she had a rapier case on her back and rants to george about how she must be an agent and that means that he has a shot of seeing her again/talking to her.
and then a couple of hours later lucy carlyle, the pretty girl that lockwood had seen while he was running his errands, walks into 35 Portland Row and asks about getting a job and lockwood has to fight the urge to give it to her before even giving her an interview. george immediately knows what's going on and that's one of the reasons that he doesn't want lockwood to hire her- bc he can see that lockwood is all but jumping for joy when he sees her again and he knows that lockwood is already falling for her. george teases him relentlessly while lucy unpacks later that night.
EDIT: if yall wanna see some funny stuff and additive headcannons pls check the reblogs !!! they're fucking hilarious and there's a lot of memes

Since the bigwigs @netflix can’t seem to figure out how to run a profitable business on what should be a platform that’s raking in money, here’s some tips:
- Offer cheaper subscriptions. You are alienating potential customers, myself included, by making subscription prices so high that people can’t afford them long term and will buy a subscription to watch the shows they want and then cancel it after a month or two
- Encourage password sharing. People don’t know what’s on your platform if they can’t afford an account and they aren’t going to fork out £11 / $15 for the cheapest subscription if there’s nothing on there they want to watch. If you encourage and facilitate password sharing then people can discover content they enjoy and might be persuaded to buy their own accounts.
- Stop cancelling shows before they get a chance to take off. All shows should be given minimum two seasons with minimum 10 episodes per season or else how can people get into a show and grow an audience.
- Give a one year grace period for fanbases to grow before cancelling a show. Fandoms don’t grow in a week.
- If a show is in the top 10 for 14 consecutive days it should be automatically qualified for renewal.
- People don’t want 20 different dating shows about the same 5 generic looking people. I promise you they’re only watching them because they’re bored and it’s the only content you have on the platform.
- For goodness sake listen to your fans. You only have to spend a couple minutes scrolling through the tags for your shows on here to see how much love there is and how much fan content is being created.
Netflix is not the only streaming platform guilty of this, Prime and Max have a lot to answer for too, but Netflix is by far the worst repeat offender

What pisses me off the most is the fact that Netflix has cited low viewing numbers as one of the main reasons to cancel Lockwood and Co, but might I just point out that the viewing numbers (which were already great) might have been higher if Netflix hadn't developed a reputation for itself by cancelling literally every YA show in recent times. Not to mention the fact that most of the shows produced by Netflix, leave the endings open to another season or on a cliffhanger. As a result, people were quite literally terrified of starting a new show in this genre in the fear of it getting cancelled and just being left with NO conclusion and therefore no fucking closure for the audience. I hope it gets picked up by another network.

I've been thinking about the door on the landing.
It's easy to understand that opening that door is a sign of Lockwood's growth, him learning to trust his friends and let people in, but... keeping it closed was also learning to let people in. Specifically, letting George in. George Karim was fired from Fittes for breaking rules, asking too many questions, and visiting areas he wasn't allowed into. Lockwood knew that and brought him into his metaphorically haunted childhood home anyway. Then Lockwood made a rule that George could not enter the door on the landing, and could not ask why, the three things George had not been able to do at Fittes.
And George didn't.
He didn't ask, he didn't push, and he didn't go in. And that, Lockwood deciding to trust George even when he could be setting himself up for pain and George being worthy of that trust, that's the first cornerstone on which Lockwood could eventually build a new home, a new family. Trusting George not to cross his boundaries was Lockwood's first big leap of faith, his first step towards opening himself to others and healing.
George is just... so important. Lucy and Lockwood are incredible for each other, they're the catalysts for so much of each other's growth, but if Lockwood had met her before he met George he wouldn't have had deep enough roots to begin to bloom.
