Pyrite Girl is one of the remixes I've been revising SINCE December 2022. There's like,,, a couple of versions of the remix i uploaded to my old soundcloud acc (it's just my username) and a lot of them sound like ass but there were MORE versions I haven't and will NEVER show to the public. I'm very glad I'm able to make a version that I'm actually happy with and I'll definitely leave remixing this song a rest 😊😊

Also the eagle part that I added before the solo is so funny to me idk why (I only used it because R.I.Producer has mentioned that they've used distorted eagle screeches in Monochrome Mentality and probably What Gave It Away and i thought it be funny to do that in mine 😭😭😭😭)

Is there a word for when a song is heavily based upon another song by another artist while distinctly being its own thing, in a "tribute to" or "inspired by" kind of way, and then that song gets remixed by a third artist, and the result is something like the second song run through a water filter, seperating out the context of the first song and yielding the concentrated essence of everything the second did differently? I fucking love shit like that.
