#togepi#looming#i think i can see why this one won!#anyway when i see this thing i think of the one episode of the anime that i SWEAR exists#i swear i'm not making this up#where it's like. an episode with no human characters. all pokémon. i think it's ash's team on a beach resort or some shit#and there's no dialogue outside of the pokémon saying their own names and the narrator describing what's happening#and they all go play hide & seek. and there's like a whole musical montage of them going and playing hide & seek#and. i swear this fucker was in it. and that's all i really remember about it#i think it was gen 2ish gen 3ish?? bc i remember the johto starters being in it and being a big focus#so it might've been gen 2#and by the time this post actually goes up on the blog i will have forgotten i wrote all this so if you leave comments#i will probably be confused at first but i will remember eventually

Not having many coherent thoughts about this but anyway vague Valgrace in a storm on water scenario (maybe during Argo II travels, maybe a different quest, maybe just trying to have a chill beach day, who knows)
Anyway Jason feels some mild discomfort towards the sea for the same reason Percy usually refuses to get on a plane but obviously Leo doesn’t really have any reason to be afraid of the water and is just like “eh it’s hot I’ll cool myself off a bit”
He does slightly underestimate the tide and briefly gets pulled under and Jason freaks because this is the sea as Thalia described it—dangerous and unrelenting and able to rip someone off their feet and pull them away from the shore in an instant
So without thinking Jason goes in after Leo with this stupid idea that he has to save him
Leo is a decent swimmer and since he’s a son of Hephaestus he’s fine but Jason is not fine due to the fact that his dad and Poseidon have beef, so Leo ends up being the one who has to do the saving. He’s cursing the whole time because it would have been fine if Jason had just waited a moment longer for his head to come back up, he’s not usually this impulsive, Jason is supposed to be the thinks things through guy, what is wrong with him
Jason is coughing and spitting water but then he’s gripping Leo’s wrist mumbling “couldn’t lose you again” and Leo absolutely cannot stay mad at Jason when he looks at him like that
#anyway! adding this to my personal Leo deserves to do more of the saving and Jason should get to be held agenda#Thalia is afraid of the sea because one time Beryl took her and Jason to the beach and into the water#knowing full well how dangerous it was but hoping it’d get Zeus’ attention. Back to school inspo ✨📚
#uhh basically study + run/lifting + more studying but its by the ocean#ive lived by the ocean my entire life but ive never studied there#mostly because its windy and sometimes smells bad lol#i do have “my spot” where i sit on the steps closest to the ocean and stare into the void while drinking an energy drink or something#thinking i should go there next week when i go back to school#maybe walk the beach or something if i have time#something more grounding because im very emotionally attached to places...#and since i wont be here this summer (for the first time in my life) i feel i must appreciate my hometown more#i have a year or two more before i leave this place for awhile and i want to remember every street and sit by the ocean close enough#to have the waves spray my face but only gently and only sometimes#and then in the summer ill get to know a new town but only for the summer and most likely never go back#another town by the water but not the ocean. with forests and freshwater lakes#itll be a lot colder despite being summer and i dont know if ill like it more or less than my hometown#i gues ive always kind of hated my hometown for not being “as good” as bigger cities. nothing to do here no one to care about...#but then i remember i grew up here and my friends are here i care about them#my memories are here and i care about that#going to the ocean in the winter and reading moominpapa and watching a play and getting rootbeer candy#slipping on the rocks and getting my shoes wet... but the water was a lot warmer than the air so i didnt mind too much until the sand#stuck to my shoes and i got the car dirty...#anyway#study#studyblr#student life#study motivation#study blog#journal#studyblr community#realistic studyblr#studying#studyspo

I love when I see posts like "Share how many crochet WIPs you currently have! I have 5, it's so many!"
Like, girl, I have unfinished projects from over a decade ago that I refuse to frog on the off chance I decide to finish them. I've found years-old projects I forgot I even started and will impulsively just finish it on the spot. I've started three different projects in the last 2 months, including one I started yesterday, that I already know I may or may not finish within the year depending on motivation.
The number of WIPs I have is infinite.
#crochet#knitting#needlepoint#sewing#embroidery#shoutout to the time it took me 4 years to make my dad a hat. and like 6 years to make a turtle for a teacher.#i picked up yarn spinning for ONE day in like 2017. i have not done it since.#there's a half finished elephant amigurumi sitting in a basket and i started that guy in like 2011#i have two maybe three shawls i know of that are sitting unfinished in a storage bag#plenty of swatches of things that i start and lose interest in#currently i have a cardigan i wanted to make and started it and then got bored so i stopped#there's a hat i was knitting for my nanna that i started maybe 2 days before she passed#and that's sat unfinished i can't even look at it. i have no clue if i'll ever actually finish it.#there's at least one skirt i never finished sewing. and two skirts i have all the materials for but haven't started.#i know i have one beach cover up dress and one cover up skirt that i started in 2017 and didn't finish.#i think my oldest work in progress though dates back to when i was 9 or 10. i made a slipper. never finished the other foot.#that was in 2005 or 06. so literally i might have WIPs older than someone who is reading this.#and those are the just some of the ones i REMEMBER. buried in my yarn stash are probably others i've just forgotten.

having the hc that minato is ace is incredibly funny sometimes when you think about how ryoji is oh so very bi because it's like. "ah. death stole my ability to be attracted to people," in the same way that ryoji stole minato's eye color and energy level. like wow, thanks ryoji, you just keep finding things to steal from minato!
#persona 3 spoilers#minato arisato#hc and au nonsense#lizzy speaks#happy international asexuality day to my fellow aces out there i hope you know that you are loved!!! 🎊🎉🥳#i like viewing minato with the lens of him being gay / ace. esp bc it stems from my own experiences so it's fun to look at-#him from that perspective even if that's not what was intended by atlus y'know?#and im sure others have other hcs from me that are informed by their own life experiences and i think that's great ^_^#something that i found interesting while playing FES was how. stilted? minato's animations felt when hugging the girls#you could definitely go with the perspective that it's a graphical limitation or they didn't have time to polish the animations#and that's def true!! but sometimes i see the hug @ yakushima beach + the other hugs and then i compare it to the sou/yo hug in p4#and there's like... a noticeable difference to me with how intimate and close together the hugs are...#that said i do know that the animations for reload are updated and the hugs are much more natural (good on them tbh!)#the other thing is (pensive sigh). the way you couldn't reject any of the girls when doing their social links in FES#objectively speaking i'm glad that they did away with that and i like how the rejections were handled in reload. it feels naturally written#but also a part of me enjoyed looking at the ��hey atlus what the FUCK” moment and thought of how to interpret it differently#specifically with the idea of minato having like.. little to no autonomy and kind of going along with the relationship#it kind of reminded me of myself tbh with like going along with the rship without considering what you want bc#it's what others want or expect out of you... LOL. i dont think atlus intended for someone to interpret it this way but#eh i think that's the fun part of hcs and looking at characters with certain lenses!#regardless of how you perceive minato i do think there's something to be said about him being the kind of guy who molds himself-#into someone that is needed. not wanted. but needed. important distinction here.#the one caveat my brain runs into when im like “minato is ace!” is when i remember thanatos exists and i go#“you know what these ideas can exist simultaneously” GKLHFHDFHD when in doubt schrodinger's headcanons#anyway that's all i've had this thought in my brain in awhile and haven't sat down to share it properly until now 👍#have an excellent weekend everyone !!! lizzy loves you all lets all nurture our inner yippee!!! 🥺💙
