What is the Best Doctor Who Story Ever Told?

Hello everybody and welcome to this, frankly ridiculously sized, tournament between not only every televised Doctor Who story, not only the spinoffs, not only a large number of minisodes, but over a 100 audios and dozens of other stories from other corners of the EU.

Now we will have to whittle over 600 stories down to jusst one, that is a lot of matches, a lot of rounds, just a lot, until very late in the game, rounds will be posted across several days. Right now the goal is to post (up to) new matches daily from Sunday to Thursday, with Friday's a day off for my own sake, which in my current plan places the final on the 18th of December (thats right, this'll be out of date before its even over, during round 2 in fact)

• Favorite Holiday - I do more to celebrate Christmas than any of the other holiday because the whole country celebrates it, religious or not. But I usually prefer to celebrate different holidays than just the standardised Christian ones.

• Night owl or day person - I am a night owl as a writer but for my mental health I gotta force myself to be a day person.

• Fave day of week - Friday night! Purely for nostalgic reasons. TV in the 90s and 00s was the best on Friday nights. And before I moved in with him, my dad would take me for the weekends. Oh, and it was fish and chips night!

• Tattoos - (In chronological order) 'Justice' in Enochian on my wrist; a triquetra and stag horns on my leg; a bumblebee and heather on my ribs; and last week I got Arthur Morgan's sketch of a prancing deer (with antlers added) on my forearm

• Like to cook - I adore it! I have so many themed cookbooks. You can learn so much about a character or where they lived by what they eat.

• Beer or wine or neither - Neither! Beer tastes like sweat and dries out my mouth. And wine takes too much effort to like lol. I prefer sweet drinks. (My fave is gold spiced rum and Dr Pepper.)

• Can you drive a manual transmissions - Can't drive and wouldn't trust myself to. I have really bad attention. So bad that I bang into lampposts and people when I'm walking.

• Favorite color - Blue but I prefer colour combinations. For example, green and pink is beautiful.

• Do you like vegetables - Adore them! I prefer to eat them raw, though. The natural sweetness is everything.

• Do you wear glasses - Yep, but I use contacts when I'm out and about.

• Favorite season - Tail end of spring or beginning of autumn.

Calling them BABY.

Calling someone "baby" who isn't a baby.

This is an insult.

Not because babies are evil, but because they're not babies.

It would be odd to want to still be a baby. Babies wear diapers, shit theirselves, are helpless, don't move around on their own, and have to be completely taken care of by another.

Hearing two people, especially married, call each other "baby" just sounds like they have a fetish as adults for this kind of crap.

It's in our music.

I'm currently even listening to it in a song as i type this. I like the beat of the song, the sounds, but the lyrics are shit. It makes me feel upset, apathetic.

I imagine a child in the room listening to it, looking at me when I know better, as i basically listen to a song that is singing about fucking the baby and treating it with disrespect, telling it that it must "give me love". I'm listening to Calm Down by Rema and Selena Gomez.

It makes me want to rip myself apart.

I just want to die rather than live in this hell.

But i suffer anyway, and listen to this rather than silence and my thoughts.

Better to live in a sick fantasy than hear the truth that i can't fix.

It's like smoking cigarettes all day, listening to this music and watching the tv, and reading all the shitty children books that are often just as bad.

Either stupid or sinful, a book normalizing bullying. That's the kind of shit i got for "entertainment". The things i wanted as a kid and i guess i didnt know better, and my family just bought the stuff for me, read it with me, watched the shows with me, listened to the music with me. Instead of knowing better????? I call bullshit.
