genuinely so impressed with kendrick’s halftime show. i’ve seen a lot of people complain that it didn’t have enough energy but omg there was so much symbolism in it.

uncle sam being a black man and saying kendrick needs to calm down?? the american flag made up of black men being split? the plot line of him not being allowed to play not like us?? THE REVOLUTION WILL BE TELEVISED??? ENDING WITH TV OFF??

also the fact someone flew a Palestinian/Sudanese flag during the show and was immediately taken away by security and was not televised i think is very telling of our political situation.

kendrick is a musical genius and made his point very clear last night. the revolution is happening, even when they tell us to be calm.

and yes i turned my tv off after that performance
