why an infp would love an entp?
entp doesn’t truly love anybody under normal circumstances, not “really”. (this is why i associated extps and extjs as dismissive avoidants in another post) so if infp can make entp love her, she would get a super rare love that’s impossible to find in nature! and woot! infps are all about rare and unique and obscure.
also: “The Supervisor (infp) sees the Supervisee (entp) as quite interesting and capable, but incomplete and therefore in need of some help and advice.”
so for an infp, entp can be a very interesting project. can you teach this person totally alien to fi ability to love and trust and vulnerability and stuff? it’s like picking a mistreated dog from shelter and keep giving it love even though its first intinct is to bite. but the very fact earning hard to earn love makes it more valuable, more special to infp!
if you are interested with your supervisee pay attention as this is the most important part: “When there are more than two people present, the Supervisee (entp) often attempts to release themselves from the control of the Supervisor (infp) by starting arguments for the sake of it or by attempting to manoeuvre themselves into the commanding position.”
i definitely have been as asshole to my current infp gf in this way quite a few times. this is because okay, i guess i can trust you and be nice and “love”… geez! but that’s when we are one on one. others can not know i have feelings!
= fi trickster
= hard se role
advice to entp who is dealing with infp therefore: make sure and don't hurt the se vulnerable of them. don't be impactfully bossy or sudden or stuff like that. control the fe child, don't sacrifice the infp for a joke or something.

Someone should write a fanfiction where all the first mate/vice captains (and Nami) go on a vacation together. They founded a CLUB (see the previous post on this), they need a raise, they need a vacation and they need it now. So, their captains are left to fend for themselves for, let's say, a month.
For people like Shanks or Luffy, a week is probably their breaking point (or the time range before boredom and lack of adult supervision pushs them to declare war on the world government, thus forcing their first mates to come back ASAP from vacation).
Absolute chaos becomes unstoppable for the crews who never noticed how much life changes when a more adult adult than you fixes your messes in exchange for the stability of their own blood pressure. When they finally understand they NEED some adult supervision in order not to explode and/or commit mutiny, they despair at the notion that they are supposed to be their own adult for a whole month.
The first mates, who are relaxing on a tropical beach without a care in the world for once in their lives, watch their crews' shenanigans unfold on a maxi TV and start betting on whose captain will break and/or give up first. Shanks. They've never had so much fun and they all know they deserved it.
Finally, they return to their babysitting duties, relaxed and regenerated, and all the captains have never been happier to see their first mates again in all their lives (if Luffy's and Shanks's bear-like hugs are almost unbearable then it's just a matter between first mates, captains and the latter’s deep-seated abandonment issues).

Betas dropkick children...
unfortunately a small children may appear very similar to any other small and huntable animal when you are set up with instincts that really really badly want you to chase and jump on small moving objects and bite them very hard in a very lethal way. as you can see this can cause incidents

I feel like people have also pushed the social model of disability as the only valid model for explaining autism so much that it became just straight up misinformation. Like, listening to some autistic people on tiktok, it's like you can accommodate autism to such an extent that it stops being a disability or even a problem whatsoever. And maybe for some specific combination of traits this is true, but my guess is that it's quite rare. For most people who meet the current diagnostic criteria, autism would disable them in any context, especially since it is almost always comorbid with at least one other thing if not multiple, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, connective tissue disorders, epilepsy, ADHD, intellectual disability, dyslexia/dyscalculia/dyspraxia, auditory processing disorder... the list goes on.
Point is, of course accommodations, support, and a good environment can eliminate a lot of negative aspects of autism - but most autistic people are disabled by our neurotype and it cannot be accommodated out of existence. Accommodations can drastically improve our quality of life, but not make us function on the exact same level as neurotypical people. And because activist circles and tiktok and so on have an overrepresentation of people whose combination of traits allows them to function on a relatively normative level, people forget just how many struggles you can have, even as a low support person. Like some people think that needing help with filing paperwork or keeping your house clean is high support. That's not even mid support imho, that's something the vast majority of low support autistic people would benefit from. I'm mid support and I need help with tying my shoelaces and preparing simple meals - and I have a master's degree and no learning/intellectual disabilities.
Two things can be true at once. Yes, autism is a natural variation of brain types and we deserve the same rights and dignity as everyone else. Many of us would not want to be "cured" of autism and it is a part of us. Also, yes, it disables us, and limits our functioning, and can be (and is, for many people), a very negative experience, especially in the current world. It's not either or, it's not black or white. It is a complex neurodevelopmental difference that doesn't just boil down to being sensitive and passionate. And it does suck sometimes, maybe even a lot of times. Abled people should learn to respect us and our wishes and needs without either comparing autism to cancer or sugarcoating our experiences.
the way people online talk about autism is getting really weird, like do they know that neurotypicals still have interests? that someone being passionate about a hobby doesn't mean they're autistic? you guys know that right

It's always a little surreal for me when a parent commends me on being good or patient with their child cuz I'm quickly reminded that they have no idea the only group of people I'm truly comfortable around are kids
#like don't get me wrong. they are a handful and can be exhausting and frustrating at times.#but they are just so fun and genuine. I love talking to kids and seeing their brains work in real time to piece things together.#you forget just how much they don't know until you say something that seems obvious to you and they piece together#meaning through the only context clues they have. and ofc they're almost always wildly off track.#but it's a beautiful glimpse into a childish perspective#but anyways. I just feel like I'm so obvious bc I feel so awkward trying to connect with people my age#and that awkwardness clearly isn't there when I interact w kids bc... I mean. why would it be. I'm not trying to impress or relate to an 8yo#I also forget not everyone knows how many younger siblings I have.#I feel like a chef who studied extensively only the finest cuisine. and then I get commended on the finesse w which I pour a bowl of cereal#like ah. well yes I suppose it is very cool that I am somehow not losing my shit while teaching your 6yo how to play slappy hands and RPS#clearly you don't know abt the time I kept 7 of us alive for a month when I was 14 when my dad was in the icu and my mom stayed w him#and only came home around 11pm every night. I even did the grocery shopping for us. now that is something to commend.#the youngest at the time was 2. she slept w me in an armchair so I could keep an eye on her and I just. didn't sleep.#cuz I was terrified of somehow smothering her while unconscious.#try being 14 on no sleep raising 6 kids aged 12-2 from 6am-11pm w no adult supervision for a month.#turns out it makes you really good at slappy hands 10+ years later.
