i dont think i actually want a canon answer to this because its kinda fun not knowing everything about every sonic characters' life and getting to fill in the gaps myself but i do wonder how vector espio and charmy met because i feel like thats the sort of thing that has to have a Story behind it beyond just oh they met and became friends one day and now theyre teammates

#likewhere did charmy come from how did vector acquire a little kid that hes clearly not blood related to #was charmy an actual baby when they first met or was it more recent than that #etc etc #i feel like something must have happened to charmys parents if hes living with vector #espio i dont question as much because its pretty normal in the sonic universe #for teenagers to just run around and do whatever with no parental supervision #and while there are some little kid characters who are confirmed to live by themselves or ar ejust running around doing whatever #i feel like the little kid characters are more likely to have adult supervision even if not all of them do if that makes sense #like tails lives on his own but cream and sage live with their parents and charmy lives with vector #marine and ray i feel like theres not an answer for i dont remember anything that confirms or denies them having a guardian of some sort #and kit is an outlier who should not be counted because of how weird his situation is
