Ever realize that there were two instances of UAF predicting a TCW/Rebels episode?

Mentor character fakes his death and goes undercover while claiming it was for the greater good despite the trauma it inflicted.

One of the heroes gets stranded on a hostile world with one of the villains and they’re forced to work together to survive. The villain’s ideology is slowly deconstructed and the seeds for their redemption which will later pay off are planted. The episode also spawned a lot of shippers.

Another fun fact, TCW and UAF aired during the same period (2008-2012) and were sometimes advertised together on Cartoon Network.

I love Ben/Reiny :) I've actually written a few ficlets for them, and have an old AMV I made, haha. I think the set-up for their ship is so wonderfully absurd.

I mean, imagine that ship from an outside perspective! Imagine being a citizen of the Highbreed empire and all of a sudden yours and everyone else's DNA is different. Apparently this was caused by some random Earthian who has the most powerful device in the universe?? Okay, whatever. You're sure that your wonderful, exalted leaders will kill him quickly. What's this, now? Your wonderful, exalted leaders have all stepped down?? They're being replaced by some twink (by your species' standards) who went missing and was discharged dishonorably from the army months ago?? And he thinks that this human who toppled your amazing empire in a couple of minutes is the best person ever??? HUH.

I love how down bad for Ben Reiny is, wjfjrjejedkc lmao. He loves that stupid, tiny human!! They are ✨besties✨ And Ben also loves Reiny so so much, him memorizing Reiny's ridiculous, long-ass title and rambling it off perfectly with a smug grin lives in my head Rent Fucking FREE.

I think they'd be the most bizarre power couple in the galaxy. Absolutely everyone would look on with nothing but bafflement. They'll never understand what happened between Ben and Reiny on that desert planet. And, honestly? Good for them.

Heute nen Flyer der afd im briefkasten gehabt. Thema medizinische Versorgung durchgelesen. Flächendeckende Versorgung - haben wir. Für Notfälle - haben wir. Gute Konditionen für niederlassungen auf dem Land - haben wir auch schon.

Aber jetzt kommts: ein Teil der studienplätze soll für "landeskinder" reserviert werden. Also ihr deppen: Ärzte sollen Ärzte werden, weil sie dafür geeignet sind. Und nicht, weil sie reinrassige arier sind. Wenn man krank ist, zählt nicht die nationalität, sondern ob der Arzt einem helfen kann.

Ich möchte nicht in einer Welt leben, in der Deutsche Ärzte werden obwohl sie doof sind, nur weil sie deutsche sind...

Die afd hält es für unmöglich. Aber es gibt tatsächlich dämliche deutsche. Es gibt auch deutsche, die keine Steuern zahlen (meist sind das die reichen...). Nur weil einer hier geboren ist, macht ihn das nicht zu einem besseren Menschen. Es waren übrigens deutsche, die massenweise Kinder in diesen Wohnwagen missbraucht haben.

Reinrassig III showed that the reason why the Highbreed think we're all inferior beings is because their species is dying and is on the brink of extinction. Thanks to Ben, they gained a second chance at life when their DNA was reconstructed thanks to the Omnitrix. So it's considered a blessing for them. And Reiny is proud to be the new Highbreed supreme, so all the other Highbreed respect him.

The human teen followed the Omnitrix’s directions, though its “mental” voice had slowly become more withdrawn. Not that they blamed it as they passed through the gate to the slightly overgrown cemetery. This place wasn’t advertised and had been expertly hidden with the fence having hedges intertwined into it.

Several tombstones of varying types were interspaced around. Unlike what they were expecting, the rows were spread out as if the lines on a globe rather than being straight. A quick look at the sheer length between some birthdates to death dates clued them in fast. This was the resting place of not only humans…A variety of mementos had been left beside several different graves—flowers having been grown around some of the neat nature of them was any indication. Very peaceful looking.

It took ages to find the Tennyson family graves and even longer to find Ben’s. His tombstone didn’t have Benjamin K. Tennyson on it, but B. Kirby Tennyson. The Omnitrix plainly admitted Ben’s son and grandchildren had worried about someone stumbling across his actual grave. So some minor concessions had to be made as the middle name Kirby was common in the family.

[User] hesitated as someone else was in front of his grave. The Highbreed had the beginnings of “hood” that older members of his species had. Yet the most noticeable feature was his right green arm patterns. They idled for a while trying to see if he was going to leave anytime soon or if they would have to leave their gift in short visit… The Highbreed raised his right arm causing several of the plants on Ben’s grave to freshen up a bit.

“If you remain respectful, then you may join me, young one.” He suddenly spoke from where he was standing not even looking at them. At being noticed, the human teen trudged over to the taller alien. It was always awkward meeting new beings for [User] yet their social anxiety gradually went away since meeting Azmuth.

Ben Ben Tennyson’s true resting place was not a well known fact. His kin had ensured as such to avoid anyone with malicious intent seeking to vandalize it. The Highbreed’s forever resting ally deserved to rest in whatever place humans went to after death. Imagine his surprise at a fairly young human (definitely a hybrid with such sharp canines) knowing where to look. He had been tracking them through his faint phytokinesis ever since they stepped foot here.

“Sorry. I didn’t want to to disturb your visit.” They apologized, standing a respectable distance away from his larger build. The young human’s body language was nervous—he was unsure if it was him or where they were.

The Highbreed Supreme shook his head, a more human physical expression to show his uncaring. “I have witnessed worse visitors. You are at least respectful of these sacred resting grounds… Are you a descendant of Ben Ben Tennyson?” Their eyes weren’t any familiar shade of green, but human genetics could be quite finicky as more species were introduced.

“Ah, no.” The young one denied before offering one of their hands for a handshake. “I’m [User]. I’m just… a friend of a friend who knew him.”

He gingerly shook their hand with his right hand taking note of how the human didn’t falter despite the texture being unpleasant to them. “Reinrassig the Third. You may call me Reinrassig or Reiny should that be more comfortable.” He very rarely let others call him by Ben Ben Tennyson’s nickname—their young age made him make a very rare exception.

“With all due respect for the leader of an entire race, I think I will stick with Reinrassig.” They informed revealing that they were aware of his technical rank. “I’m not exactly the best at treating officials with the proper respect. So I hope you don’t mind if I consider us both merely beings wishing to pay respect.”

Ben has large monuments that are dedicated to him after his death, even a public grave. But this is where he truly lies.

I'm not surprised that Ben's actual grave was hidden. People tend to do really stupid or very disrespectful things to the dead. Especially if the person in question very popular.

Good to know some of Ben's acquaintances still visit.

I love Ben’s friendship with the Highbreed, Reinrassig. In the short time they worked together, they developed a sweet bond with each other and I LOVE THEIR NICKNAMES! Ben Ben and Reiny. That is so cute!!!

Something that has been on my mind for a while and I wanted to write an essay about is the idea of Ben being a spotlight hogging narcissist. I think people take that one scene from OV where Ben took credit for Rook’s idea to go after Khyber and make it his entire character. He did have trouble in the OS with Gwen getting something special in the form of the Charms of Bezel but accepted it and congratulated her at the end. In SOTO he learned to let Gwen enjoy what she wants instead of it being about him by offering to go to the mall at the end despite finding it boring.

Even at his most arrogant in AF s3, he could still give credit where it was due. In “Vengeance of Vilgax part 1” he claimed that “we deserve to enjoy our success” referring to Gwen and Kevin so it’s not like he acts like he was the only one who stopped the Highbreed. In “If all Else Fails” he admitted that the Highbreed who activated the weapon in the first place was the one who saved the day when Reiny gave him the credit.

“Not that well. The other Highbreed was in there. He’s the one who saved the power plant”.

He also never took credit for stopping Aggregor or Ultimate Kevin. He brought up the former in an argument with Max about how he wasn’t going to give up but never said he defeated him. For the latter, he corrected Ra’ad that it wasn’t him that stopped Kevin and restored the Andromeda aliens, “it was all of us”. He subdued Kevin but Gwen was the one who convinced him to spare his life and Cooper built the machine to cure him. During his speech towards Driscoll, he only took credit for stopping Vilgax and the Highbreed and admitted prior to that, it was his actions that forced Kevin to absorb the ultimatrix to stop Aggregor from taking over the universe.

I’m not saying Ben is a perfect uwu soft boy who can do no wrong because he does have flaws which I even wrote about but some fans like to paint him as just a narcissist who can’t give others credit and is only a hero to boost his ego.
