Twi just found out that in Lu he IS a type of Hero's shade for Wild

Spirit of older hero that comes and goes in wolf form yep sounds familiar

The main difference being that Hero's shade was there to train Twilight, whereas Wolfie was there to simply be there for Wild

Twilight is over here avoiding telling Time anything about Hero's Shade and then Wild comes up like "haha I totally met a dead version of you in wolf form that helped me"

What Mahito did: Manipulate Junpei into being his friend and then killed him in front of Yuji, laughed about Yuji's desperation to save him, killed Nanami, got Nobara into a coma, destroyed one of Todo's hands

What Sukuna did: Threaten to kill Yuji's friend multiple times, ripped Yuji's heart out of his chest and then tricked him into making a Binding Vow that he would have to forget in order to bring him back to life, laughed at Yuji when he desperately begged him to try and save Junpei, told him over and over again that his mere existence would bring destruction simply by being his vessel, destroyed Shibuya and killed countless of innocent people, ditched Yuji to make Megumi his new vessel, then sinked Megumi's soul as deep as he could in darkness in order to keep control of his body, killed Tsumiki, killed Gojo, killed Kashimo, killed Higuruma, killed Choso, almost killed Yuta and pushed him into using Kenjaku's CT to get into Gojo's body, kept praising literally everyone else but Yuji (while still trying to kill them), who he kept talking shit about instead, got pissed when Yuji showed pity and told him that he would kill every single person still left alive that Yuji cared about before finally killing him

I know I made other posts of these moments but... so far this season both Sukuna (left side) and Yuuji (right side) have had some moments where they have done the same thing.

SO I was inspired by This Reblog and absolutely adore any and all dragon Aus. And was hit with a rapid bit of inspiration.

Danny sighed through his nose, rolling his shoulders as another blob coiled across his arm like a serpent. It was an interesting thing, how they mimicked other forms, though he didn't understand all of it.

Normally they wouldn't mimic him so much, not so strongly at least. But well, the ghosts here were mere whispers, visible to a few and unable to interact much. Which is what really brought him here in the first place.

Apparently something is blocking the access to the Realms here, enough that someone needs to do something about it. And look, he's not the Ghost King (thank fuck, he'd never be able to have Star-Time if he was) but he does sort of have a job to do. As the child of Time and new Ancient of Space to-be.

Not to mention that as said new Ancient-of-Space-to-be the Observants can't complain that much about him entering a world they didn't like.

And oh boy, this world. Yikes. There's some corrupted stuff freaking everywhere (even if not visibly), and monsters. And he does mean monsters, a lot of these things are corrupted as all heck- though thankfully the skeletal undead ones leave him alone no matter what form he takes.

On the other hand? There's this little gremlin child that reminds him of Ellie that runs into him repeatedly. Danny is starting to think it's on purpose actually. Child? Child where are your caretakers, you can't just charge at the lion-horse people- ... Danny despises prophecies. Alright child, he's going to start following you because you haven't even eaten tonight apparently. And your weapon has broken. Twice. And you're apparently surrounded by ghosts, how has he not noticed- alright. OKAY. This is fine.

Link, would like everyone to know, that he is actually having so much fun right now! There's this sort-of Hylian that he found when looking for Koroks whose sort of like a stal-hylian? Or something? But they're nice!

And they have wings! He thought it was some sort of cloak at first, but no, they're full on wings! And he's going to convince them to take him flying. He will.

After he takes care of this itching on his back, because it's getting really distracting...

Yes I used Flight Rising specifically because @fairy-lights-and-blobs mentioned it specifically for Danny's wings.

the whole "doflamingo has always been evil" thing doesn't sit right with me. idk. maybe it's because i think the environment during childhood is what shapes someone's personality, especially if there's a traumatic experience. and call me crazy, but perhaps being raised in a world full of supremacists and classists with an extreme god complex can affect your views on the world and yourself at a very early age. and perhaps i'm being a bit insane here, but, like, idk. maybe being fucking tied up and tortured and seeing everything you love burnt down to ashes while a whole town tells you you're evil for your mere existence could make you develop a hatred towards them. and, wow! maybe i'm saying something wild, but if you're taking care of your little brother and an older man tells you you're the chosen one to create a fucking mafia and he boosts your god complex to an insane, unhealthy, and almost grooming-like extent, of fucking course you're gonna end up like doflamingo.

so im a little new to your blog, and i just found your reincarnated blights au and i think its really neat. anyways do you know how the “plot” with them would work if they were actually in botw? idk i wanna see how their storyline goes lol

Thank you glad you like it! :D tbh I don’t really have too much about this it was just a silly idea I thought about awhile ago lol but I’ll still share :)

My original thought was that it would take place after beating all the blights and before defeating ganon like how the dlc goes. Instead of word from zelda or maz kosha, koume and kotake sets their plan in motion by contacting link through telepathy. From there somehow it branches off to each of the blights “reincarnations”. They’re not actually reincarnations but more of a host to their abilities using the remnants of the malice from each blight. The two carefully picked out each one throughout the years of link’s slumber and onward. The malice orb they’ve created feeds off strong negative energy making it easier to take control of someone. Eventually they all will fight link while a “mysterious lady” watches from close by (they’ll fight two like a finally boss type thing or something)

I know Nintendo mainly does this to not spoil Skyward Sword for new players, but, the fact that all of Hyrule seems to think Hylia is still watching over them is so bleak.

I think totk pretty much confirms (imo) that the goddess statues all sorta have their own sentience. That obviously isn’t Skyward Zelda speaking to Link from the statues. The statues are more like servants in place of the goddess that give out blessings.

botw Zelda never awoken her powers by praying to Hylia because Hylia is gone. She’s been gone for close to a million years now. Zelda found her powers from within because she is the mortal reincarnation of Hylia.

Imagine how many prayers have gone unanswered throughout thousands of years due to everyone thinking Hylia is still up there looking out for them. I mean, I guess in a way she is. Zelda cares deeply for her country. But, people are not praying to Zelda. They’re praying to someone who cannot help them in the way she would have been able to when she was still a goddess.

See another thing is the way each reacts to Dracula's violent obsession.

They are all dogged into hunting him down and killing him but there are a few differences.

Van Helsing speaks with fascination and to his admittance admiration about the man Dracula was. He's impressed how he was an alchemist, a sorcerer, and a successful warlord. It makes sense, as Van Helsing has like 5 doctorates. He calls him a manchild too but still.

Jonathan feels for him the silent rage of a thousand white-hot diamond suns. His hate for Dracula can only be matched by his love for Mina.

Mina, after getting attacked and calming down feels pity for him. Corrupted Frodo's pity for Smeagol levels. 'Feel pity for him, for one day I may become like him, and I hope you will not hate me when that happens (please don't hate me.)'

I don't know about you but the reactions of the former two create much more potential chemistry towards Dracula's obsession than pity does.

I AGREE ANON!!! I personally don't engage with media adapting the book that always centers it on Mina or Lucy getting "enraptured" by the Count when that doesn't really happen in the books? At least, not in a romantic sense! That's a huge tangent for another day, but I actually think that Mina's strength as a character comes in her relationships with her human buddies rather than the count :o) But if she was the reincarnation of a Belmont (hoo hoo hee hee a certain blonde catholic perhaps?) the parallels with Dracula would be sooo good.

But that also adds to your point about Van Helsing and Jonathan's relationships being way more interesting with Dracula!!! If we are talking in regards to the AU, I think that if Jonathan was the reincarnation of Dracula's lover and ALSO hated his guts right now... l that is so juicy and objectively such an interesting dynamic??? I also once read a really good fanfic that explored if Dracula knew Lisa was Elisabetha's reincarnation and there is so much understated horror that it actually drives me insane how it isn't explored more in media (it's ok guys I'm Buddhist i got this the dukkha and whatever). Maybe it's because I'm on the ace spectrum but soulmates, reincarnated lovers, and the ilk kinda freak me out, but are also so interesting as a storytelling and character device when used effectively.

Van Helsing always felt like a guy who had a very long and mysterious past, so my brain automatically put him as Alucard, but reading your analysis I also kinda agree... maybe others can suggest whether Van Helsing should just be some dutch guy or not lol? also please if someone could get a catchier name for this au i would be appreciative 😭😭😭

Okay so after I finish my finals I'm going to wrap up Damage Control/Unbroken Spirit and despite how much I say I hate writing multi chapter fics I'm going to start another one lol

I have two ideas I've had for a while that I've wanted to write and have been thinking about them both equally recently and can't decide which one to start so! help

This is the first one, it's a Skyward Sword rewrite but cyberpunk/future au. The actual oneshot is rated M but if you want to skip that you can stop reading from "It didn't take long" to "They were dangerous thoughts to think."

The second one is an au that has modern reincarnations of the triforce trio except they're not needed anymore because the whole good v evil battle has been over for centuries. However there are still side effects to being chosen by the gods and there's still people trying to revive Demise's curse, so Link ends up with Ghirahim's sword instead of the Master Sword. I hadn't actually planned on continuing this one but several people have asked

Both would be a T or M, the cyberpunk is more ghiralink centered and the modern fantasy is more gen

Luffy wants to call him an idiot, because it figures he would get lost finding his way home.

But Zoro just blinks at him, flushes, one eye still framed by a familiar scar and says, “Oh, sorry,” and makes it so much worse when he says, “Do I know you?”
