I've been making paper stars lately, and I thought of a Little!Stolas headcanon.

Stolas taught Octavia how to make paper stars way before the events of Mastermind and Sinsmas.

When the owl prince regresses, he likes to create the little stars to help him calm down. Blitzø or Loona sometimes joins in on the fun!

This takes place during Sinsmas, and Stolas has regressed super young at Blitzø's apartment after Octavia got angry with him and disowned him (this also takes place before the Sinsmas party).

Boop! Here you go, friend! I had to rewatch the episodes before writing this, but they gave me so many thoughts of hurt/comfort for the two of them. Enjoy! (And yes, Christmasy Sinmasy title despite it being March)

Have Yourself a Merry Little Sinmas

Stolas was obviously depressed.  Not only that, but also very Little.

And who could blame him?  How else were you supposed to react after such traumatizing experiences?  When your own daughter disowned you?

As he wandered around his small kitchen preparing a snack of cereal for the prince, Blitzø couldn’t help but feel guilty for all that had happened.  Especially considering the role he played in Octavia’s decision to boot her father out of her life…I didn’t deserve such a sacrifice in the first place, let alone one that cost him his daughter, he thought miserably, recalling the fateful day when Stolas came to his rescue, stripped of his status, and consequently ruined his life (well, at least for the next 100 years of it)

  Blitzø sighed, shaking the despondent thoughts away.  Guilt could wait and it wouldn’t change anything. He would make things right, eventually at least, but for now all he could do was take care of his boyfriend.  

The prince’s eyes were glazed over, a blank stare overtaking his usually sharp and observant features.  He hadn’t moved from the couch since they returned to the apartment that afternoon.  Furthermore, he did not seem willing to discuss or process his feelings; the tears had dried up on the way home, since replaced by an eerie silence and that empty stare.  Lack of communication and movement combined most likely meant he was in one of his youngest headspaces.

Blitzø stared at him worriedly, pondering the best course of action.  The Sinmas party was only hours away; and while the guests themselves were the least of his worries, leaving Stolas so overwhelmed and surrounded by strangers was concerning.

Should he cancel the party altogether?  Technically it had Stolas’s best interests in mind, but the prince would undoubtedly feel guilty and Loona disappointed, so was it really worth it?  

He could tell Loona to keep the gathering small, limit it to her closest friends, Millie, and Moxie though.  Usually he enjoyed throwing ragers for the holidays, no matter how much he regretted it the next morning thanks to headaches and a trashed apartment, but this seemed like the perfect excuse to tone down the festivities. 

With that resolve, Blitzø sent his daughter a quick text, requesting only a small group of friends to be invited.  That’s done, he thought as Loona replied with a thumbs up.  But what can I do to actually help him feel better?

That answer came a little faster; he had a Sinsmas present already wrapped and hidden in his bedroom.  While Stolas had said he didn’t celebrate the holiday, it didn’t stop Blitzø from wanting to share the festivities and traditions with him, and that included having an excuse to give him a gift.

He sent a quick glance towards Stolas’s still frame, where he still sat unmoving on the couch.  Creeping quietly to not disturb or distress him, Blitzø tiptoed into his bedroom.  He had hidden the little gift box on top of his closet, it’s cheerful paper and sparkling bow promising smiles and happiness to its awaiting recipient.

Blitzø carried it reverently as he returned to the main room of the apartment.  Stolas still had not moved, so he took up the bowl of cereal in his other hand and returned to Stolas’ side.  

“Hey, handsome, got you a snack,” the imp smiled crookedly, holding out the bowl and setting the present on the floor, out of immediate sight.  “You didn’t eat lunch, you must be real hungry by now.”

Stolas didn’t reply; his eyes briefly flickered to Blitzø when he began speaking, but his gaze had since returned to the wall.  Not a great sign, but the caregiver was not deterred.  He took one of Stolas’s feathered hands into his own, giving it a light squeeze.

“Want to play?  Watch some TV?” Blitzø suggested.

Stolas blinked again, slowly processing the options given.  A look of overwhelm crossed his already worn, stressed features, before shrugging, lost.

“How about we put on a movie and have some snuggles?” Blitzø offered, seeing that his Little had no interest in making decisions at the moment.  

TV and close contact was their go to on bad days; when both could relax without the pressure of talking or straining their energy on crawling around the floor to play. 

Agreeing, Stolas nodded.  A bit of the tension in his limbs eased, as Blitzø smiled at him encouragingly.  With a yawn, he curled up and laid his head on his caregiver’s lap.  There he completely deflated, muscles slack and eyelids drooping.  Blitzø himself relaxed, glad his Little was cooperating with his attempted comforts.  

“Alright, buddy,” he grinned softly, running a hand through his already mussed feathers.  

Ordinarily, he might attempt to indoctrinate the Goethals into Spirit or My Little Pony (the magnum opus of the Sinner’s race), but he knew better than introducing something new at such a stressful time.  Stolas had his own favorites and comfort shows; the perfect picking for a day marred by turbulent emotions.

So, the imp reached forward to snatch the remote from the coffee table, careful not to jostle Stolas in the process.  It only took a minute to scroll through his streaming services and find The Owl House.  Unironically, his prince loved it; he would watch it for hours on end, sometimes even choosing it over playtime.  

Blitzø selected the episode that left off the last time they binged the series.  Stolas cooed softly, already seeming calmed by the familiar scene and characters that unfolded on the TV screen.  

“Oh yeah, I’ve got a surprise for you,” Blitzø grinned, picking up the present box from the floor.  “Merry Sinsmas.”

Stolas’s eyes widened, a faint glisten returning to them as he took in the sight of his gift.  He fingers flexed as he reached up for it, grabby hands.  Blitzø breathed a silent sigh of relief as he handed it over; it was another good sign that Stolas was reacting despite his sadness.

With fumbling movements, the prince tore away the wrapping paper and ribbons.  A little light returned to his eyes, which brightened further after he pulled the box open and revealed its contents.  Eagerly, he reached in and pulled out an elaborate paci, decorated with gold glitter and a red heart charm on its center.  Fittingly, the words “My Heart” were beaded onto the handle.

Stolas cooed, an almost smile on his face as he immediately pushed the pacifier into his mouth.  Looking up at Blitzø, seeming so sweet and innocent and cute, the imp couldn’t help smile adoringly down at him.

Stolas didn’t say anything, not that Blitzø expected him to, but his nuzzle against the imp’s stomach, pure enthusiasm, and soft coos showed his gratitude well enough.

“You’re welcome, love,” his caregiver laughed lightly.

Considering everything that had transpired that day, their position was far from perfect.  Already it has been a rough month, and Blitzø was expecting the next one to be even harder.  But for now, he counted his blessings.  He and Stolas were safe and secure, sheltered by each other’s company.  They couldn’t predict the future, but they could make the present as comfortable as possible and enjoy a merry little Sinsmas together.

Authors note: this is my first time writing up a agere fic, so it’s not my best work if I’m honest, but it was super fun! Should I post more?

Story beneath the cut!

Loona was never a fan of storms, they were always so loud and scary.

For the most part, she had managed to keep herself calm during them, usually curling up with a blanket and reading, or listening to music to drown out the noise.

But none of her usual tactics seemed to be working tonight, the storm just simply would not leave. Which in turn left her scared, ears pinned down, tail curled around herself as a safety blanket. A soft whimper escaping her lips from where she hid underneath her bed. Tears brimming at her eyes as she let out a distressed whine at yet another loud clap of thunder.

Blitzo on the other hand had just gotten home from a little outing with Stolas, having flung open the apartment door- he wasn’t that surprised to see well.. nobody.

Loona usually kept to herself for the most part, but he also knew she wasn’t a fan of storms.

“Loony? Loony tuney?” He called out, slipping off his shoes and jacket, setting down his keys.

At first he didn’t hear anything, thinking she may have been asleep. At least until he heard the whimpers coming from her room.

Brows furrowed, he had knocked lightly on the door. “Loony?” He called out softly before carefully opening the door.

At first he hadn’t seen her, until he saw a bit of her tail poking out from under the bed, the very distressed hellhound had let out another whimper.

“Aw Loon..” he frowned, getting down onto his hands and knees to look at her.

“Hey there Loony..” he spoke, almost immediately recognizing she had slipped into a smaller headspace to keep herself safe.

She had shifted slightly, watching Blitzo as he offered a hand out to her.

“Would you like to come out and tell me what’s wrong?” Blitzo asked, already having a plan laid out to comfort his little hellhound.

Loona had hesitated for a moment, on one hand being under the bed away from all the monsters was a good idea, but papa Blitzo also kept away the scary monsters.

At another strike of lightning, she gave a shake of her head, hiding her face into her tail.

Blitzo had set up, back on his hunches. “Okay.. well..” He trailed off, “that means I’ll have to eat all these yummy snacks alone and watch this cool show uncle Moxx suggested-“ He started, knowing she’d likely come out for some snacks and cartoons.

Having stood, he began walking to the door- stopping as he watched her crawl out from under the bed. In one of her pj onesies, she had gathered up her lovey and favorite blanket from the bed.

Despite her anxiety, she gave a small wag of her tail- “snackies..?” She asked, looking hopeful.

Blitzo couldn’t help but grin, “yeah kiddo, we can have snackies” He nodded.

Having set up the couch with some pillows and extra blankets, Blitzo had allowed Loona to pick a cartoon to watch (which ended up being Vamperina), and a few snacks to eat on (gummy bears), letting her settle down on the couch.

“Ready for cartoons?” He asked, watching the hellhound pup tear into her bag of treats as he clicked his tongue.

“Loony-“ he sighed as she frowned, sitting down the bag on her lap, ears flat to her head. “Sorry Papa blitz..” she mumbled, pulling her blanket up to her chin.

“It’s alright, just remember to have some manners, yeah?” He mused as she nodded.

She gave a small nod, popping a gummy in her mouth as she settled down for her cartoons.

The two had watched them in relative silence, at least until another crack of thunder broke out in the distance, earning a small startled cry from the scared hellhound pup.

Without thinking she had buried her face into Blitzo’s chest, desperate for comfort.

“Aw Loon..” Blitzo frowned, rubbing in between her ears. “It’s okay-“ he soothed, noticing how her tail had given a tentative little wag at the affectionate gesture.

“Papa keep me safe?” She asked quietly, looking up at Blitzo with watery eyes as he wrapped his arms around her.

“Of course I will kiddo, papa will protect you~” He crooned, happy to comfort her.

Giving a small nod, Loona stayed hidden against Blitzo.

After about a half an hour, the storm finally seemed to be calming down and Loona was getting sleepy. Rubbing at her eyes with a soft whine and thump of her tail.

“Ready for bed kiddo?” Blitzo asked, having shut off the tv and stood.

Loona gave a sleepy nod, trailing behind Blitzo as he got her tucked into bed.

“Do you want one or two stories?” Blitzo asked, rummaging through the small pile of children’s books.

“Two please-“ Loona spoke, having curled up in bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow she was out.

“Okay kiddo-“ Blitzo started, turning around with a couple of books in his hands to give her some choices, but had paused realizing she had fallen asleep.

Giving a soft chuckle, he carefully set the books down. Pulling the blanket up around her, he kissed the top of her head before shutting off the light.

“Goodnight Loony Toony~” he said from the doorway.

Fizzarolli Regression Headcanons

has always been a playful/intentional regressor, insisting Blitzo clean up when they were kids because he's 'just a baby'

was vaguely aware that it was more than an act: when threatened or flustered, his body gets more clumsy and his brain works slower

insanely obvious when he's regressing: his entire body language changes, his tail either wraps around his legs or he starts fiddling with it in his hands

his regression actually retreated after the fire: he couldn't get back to that safe, cozy place that he remembered

he wondered if it was just another thing that Blitzo had taken with him when he left without a backwards glance

and then, Asmodeus.

Fizz rediscovered his regression through discussions with Asmodeus about kink and Fizzarolli was like 'oh, that's almost but not quite?' and they had a discussion about regression!

Asmodeus is generally familiar with things at the edges of his territory, since he still does a lot of production and sales for them: nonsexual kink and age regression and uses of materials for stim toys instead of bondage gear

Fizzarolli's new regression is very linked to Asmodeus, and the two of them make a lot of time for it!

even though Asmodeus knew about age regression, he didn't have much hands-on experience, because who would trust the demon of lust with such an innocent and vulnerable space?

Fizzarolli would, and Asmodeus thrives in the trust that the two of them share

Fizz is spoiled to hell and back, of course, with treats and stuffed animals and outfits and toys

lots of frog themed gear because of Asmodeus's "Froggy" nickname for him

clingy baby, occasionally pulls Asmodeus out of meetings for more playtime (he literally handles Asmodeus's schedule, he can make sure he catches up later)

falls asleep curled up on Ozzie's chest

puts on shows for Asmodeus with juggling and climbing on top of the fridge while Asmodeus tries to get him back down safely

refuses to eat his vegetables unless there are airplane noises

Absolutely!!

Blitzo agere headcanons

Regresses between ages 4-7

He regresses pretty regularly although he represses it if he’s around anyone else (he’s alone a lot though so it’s usually not to much of an issue) 

Regresses voluntarily as much as he regresses involuntarily 

Blitzo has a complicated relationship with his regression. Part of him thinks that it’s just another thing that will contribute to no one wanting him and no one ever staying around but another part of him finds a lot of joy and healing in his regression and wishes he could explore it more with people he trusts

He has a lot of experience with hiding his own feelings even from himself and even while little he struggles with being open and vulnerable about his feelings. It usually takes some coaxing to make him admit something is bothering him while small and even more to get him to say what it is 

Little Blitzo makes a lot of sounds like hissing, screeching or whining while regressed and will sometimes abandon words in favor of making sounds 

Personality wise, little Blitzo is like a feral kitten that just got adopted. Suspicious and a little frightened of everything but full of rage until the second he’s given a treat or affection and then he melts   

He will go down for a nap but it’s always a battle to get him to go to, and stay in, bed. Why he puts up such a fuss is anyone's guess since he does actually really like getting to sleep 

Yes he enjoys being picked up a lot. He likes to be picked up and thrown around in a playful roughhousing manner. Growing up he, Fizz, and Barbie were constantly pushing each other off of things onto the trapeze nets or play fighting and it’s something he misses 

He will do bath time but he splashes and makes a mess and is very dramatic about getting soap in his eyes the entire time 

He loves to watch cartoons, especially ones that feature horses. He also enjoys playing elaborate pretend games with his toys

Little Blitzo climbs all over everything. He has been found many times on top of dressers, countertops, trees, and one time even on the roof of a building. No one knows how he keeps getting up there  

He has a lot of toys. Impulse purchasing is something he struggles with and Stolas bought him a bunch when he first found out as a show of support (blitzo acted embarrassed about the whole incident but was actually really touched by it) 

Little Blitzo needs clothes he can move around in and hates formal clothing with a burning passion 

He prefers teethers to pacifiers since he has a bit of a biting habit 

For a very long time no one knew about his regression. Blitzo knew about the regression of everyone around him but kept his own a complete secret for years. Finally he is beginning to open up about it and does eventually tell Stolas, Moxxie, Millie and Loona 

In the same way he craves intimacy and is also scared of it he wants a caregiver but also feels very opposed to having one. He wants someone to care about him that way (secretly feels very jealous over how Millie becomes Moxxie's caregiver once she learns he regresses without any hesitation) but he doesn't trust a lot of people to take care of him 

Even after he begins to open up about his regression he prefers to just let others occasionally babysit him rather than have a more permanent caregiver 

He started regressing after the circus fire. 

He can be pretty bratty while little and does try to push people away even when small while somehow also being the clingiest little guy in the entire world

blitzo and fizz are regressors

while fizz has learned to embrace it, having ozzie as his carer helps a lot. blitzo definitely is a bit scared by it, involuntary regression catches him off guard and can sometimes spiral him into a panic.

fizz has a wide age range, he does stay onto he younger side though 4-6 !

blitzo also has a wide range, he feels the most in control when he's about 13

if blitzo safely regressed by himself he has made a balloon animal 2 keep him company. another legless horse :')

I don't think blitzo would even open up about his regression to stolas. (it's a cute thought) blitzo would probably learn to be an independent regressor (still v valid!)

octavia has regressed a few times, very chill about it, I feel like she trusts stolas with it. he has watched over her. (he also feels like it was a chance to redeem himself for her childhood)

(loona/octavia friendship >) loona is a pet regressor and has hungout with regressed octavia.

they look after each other, go stargazing, have little parties with each others playlists.

I'm thinking of doing a Helluva Boss agere fic. The plot takes place right after Loona is adopted by Blitzø.

Loona didn't have a good childhood, always being placed in foster home after foster home. She was destined to be "removed" from the adoption center when she turned 18. However, an imp named Blitzø comes to her rescue and adopts her. What he doesn't know is that Loona has adopted a coping mechanism that she has kept secret over the years until now.
