I absolutely love that they all were dressed in the same color palette for Colin's wedding, however they each have their own distinct style to it. Another great job by John Glaser, Dougie Hawkes, and the entire costume team!

Traditional Tartan plaid doesn't appear to have been popular in the 1920s, but I was able to track down these festive looking dresses. The one on the right is a Paul Pouret silk taffeta with an underskirt.

I have this regency era dress I made last year for a regency ball that I want to revamp for this year! Trying to decide exactly what I want to do is so fun to think about theres so many options. I want to do shorter puffier sleeves for sure, and then maybe some kind of overcoat? I'd love to add some more lace and ruffles as well! I'd love to track the process on here as well.

And this dress is from last summer. I wonder if I can fit into it when I go to the next Napoleonic festival.

Planning out another sewing project (regency short stays because modern underwear is terrible) but I can't find the money or time. Money to buy the pattern and supplies, time to draft the pattern if I don't buy it. I'm considering the Laughing Moon one because 1. It's cheaper than Redthreaded (literally third the price) 2. There's more patterns in it - two styles, option to shorten it and chemise 3. I heard it's easier. But I think I'll buy it tomorrow and the boning too. But who knows when I'll get to it. I eventually will, I promise but I have no idea when 🩷
