“Fully robed Husk”✨ Branching off my last one, but I got curious how Husk would look with a full length robe, and wearing it properly. Y’know, for science 😂

I've been going through a massive blue period. Stipping things back to pencil, less graphic, more intimate and I'm loving how much more I'm enjoying it. I've released this current series as prints - something which I've not done in around 3 years. I've also taken my work to Inprnt as I really did not like the direction society6 was heading.
So if you'd like to grab a print, you can find them all available here : https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/nvm/
There's currently 10% off prints and there are fair few lovely prints available there that I've not uploaded here.

This distinctive yellow and green wizard robe with a gold lamé hood and an all-watching eye emblazoned on the front is best known for its appearance in 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒌’𝒔 1967 second-season episode 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒘, where Theodore Marcuse wore it as Korob.   However, the robe first appeared earlier that same year in the episode of 𝑮𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒏’𝒔 𝑰𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 entitled 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒚’𝒔 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕 𝑨𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒓, where Bob Denver wore it as Cinderella’s “Fairy Godfather.”   The piece was spotted again in 1970 in an episode of 𝑩𝒆𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅 entitled 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒂’𝒔 𝑩𝒂𝒅 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑰𝒏 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒎, worn by a warlock at The Witches Convention.   What do you think of this distinct costume? Have you seen it anywhere else? Let us know: Bit.ly/SciFi056

Sashiko Jacket
1850-1899 (Meiji Era)
Japan
Sashiko is a quilting technique that uses a running stitch to reinforce and prolong the life of a textile or to join together recycled pieces of cloth into a new garment. Japanese farmers used the technique to create warmer and more durable fabrics, and decorative sashiko stitching developed from this practical function. This robe’s embroidered design is dominated by three variations on the pattern of interlocking circles, called shippō-tsunagi. The bottom band features a design of waves.
