sometimes i dip into the redscarepod subreddit to see what madness is going on this time and i truly cannot take any of them seriously because some of them clearly work HARD to include as many slurs as possible in their comments and it’s like. okay at this point you’re acting like a child who just discovered swearing and thinks they’re so cool for saying fuck like they’re all so embarrassing tbh

i feel like it’s weird to connect over social media platforms because over time it always becomes ‘where did all the cool people go’ and right now they’re on are.na . when some things hit overexposure, u see this on reddit subs more frequently, they explode and become permanently worse. and u don’t always know where the people you did like went. because the internet is like a lotto machine and i’ve gotten attached to like.. the feeling of the site itself, i keep going back onto those old subs/sites hoping that they’ll turn around and become better again. it takes LONGER THAN USUAL to just cut my losses and give up that hope

turned off reblogs on my post about the BPD redscarepod girl trying to fuck her therapist because 90% of the people reblogging it have the old chain where she looks insane and the therapist looks cool and collected, instead of the two subsequent updates i made where he reciprocated her flirting via text and then got found out by his wife. having to read a new set of tags literally once per minute about how he's the victim here and she needs a lobotomy makes me sick. i know i kind of caused this issue by making the post in the first place but these tags are singlehandedly making me antipsych enough to consider flushing my wellbutrin

i wish the conversation around reducing sugar/glucose intake hadn’t been completely overtaken by ED and diet culture in general because I’ve had to go off sugar and reduce carbs as my grandma lost her foot and later died of diabetic complications and my aunt is slowly going blind because of it and I have pcos related IR but talking about it makes me sound like a r/redscarepod user.
