i feel like it’s weird to connect over social media platforms because over time it always becomes ‘where did all the cool people go’ and right now they’re on are.na . when some things hit overexposure, u see this on reddit subs more frequently, they explode and become permanently worse. and u don’t always know where the people you did like went. because the internet is like a lotto machine and i’ve gotten attached to like.. the feeling of the site itself, i keep going back onto those old subs/sites hoping that they’ll turn around and become better again. it takes LONGER THAN USUAL to just cut my losses and give up that hope
