buying an old, secluded house in the scottish highlands, intending on renovating and reselling it. but you find out quickly that it's haunted. like, haunted haunted.

at first, you refuse to believe a man that pretty would be dead. let alone, a nefarious spirit with... questionable intentions.

but, compared to the (literal) horror stories you've heard, spirit!johnny is pretty cordial in his ways of messing with you. always picks up the books he knocks over to startle you, or when you scream at him to give you back your keys, or quit hiding your glasses, dammit

sometimes, when you're in the right mood, you find it comforting to know you're not all alone out in the middle of nowhere. it's not like you can tell your friends and family any details of this. you'll sound downright insane.

you learn to deal with the strong scent of his cologne or the creak of his footsteps (which you only hear because he wants you to, of course).

and—naturally—the feeling of large hands smoothing along your spine, down to your hips, a thumb strumming your lips. possessively, right as sleep engulfs you. the first few times you chalk it up to an erotic fantasy that only surfaces when you're exhausted and bordering on delirium.

however, it proves difficult to rationalize the voice. especially when he knows your name.

my beloved ,,, i uploaded chapter 5 barely two days ago !!!

i know yall get excited and want more, im always so floored by the responses i get to my story, but writing takes time ! i also really want yall to recognize that i update moderately fast, all around.

to really emphasize this point: i uploaded chapter 1 of season 3 on april 13th, and i recently uploaded chapter 5 june 4th. within almost two months (not even a full two months) ive uploaded 44k words of come home !!

to REALLY bring my point home: i uploaded the very first chapter of come home on october 26th, 2023. within less than a year ive written and published 221k words. this doesnt even include my blurbs, which i would say are roughly another 20k words or so.

all this is to say is that i think its evident i write whenever i can and that im just as eager to update as much as yall are, but pleaaaase give me time. im an active college student, i work part time when im on breaks, i go on dates and see friends. its a lot !!

its okay to ask about when a chapter is coming next, but two days after one has been uploaded is just a smidge too soon. gimme like a week to breathe and recover before assuming ive started the next chapter pls <3

It’s absolutely nuts to me that some people on here are saying that was a filler episode and that it’s slow moving. When so much plot exposition happens each episode and so much character insight.

I think some people forget that not all of us have read novel spoilers and therefore actually need the plot played out lol

yes, i have. i honestly don’t feel like i really need to say anything because i haven’t spoken to her ever and don’t know what’s going on really. i don’t feel like I have to publicly explain why i chose to block someone months ago. i have my reasons and im going to stick to them because i don’t feel comfortable with a few things hence why i chose to block this person. if I see something that doesn’t sit right with me and rubs me the wrong way, i normally ignore it but if i see it constantly then i unfortunately have to hit the block button. again, this was months ago.
