Worse than the alive Rimmer he’s lived(?) longer and therefore has more trauma, plus the added horror of being a hologram, mortality, existentialism, and being (even more) touch-starved. He’s a main character. How can you not.

The Last Day (s3e6): The crew receive a message from Kryten's manufacturer saying that he must be dismantled within 24 hours, at which time a more advanced mechanoid will arrive to replace him. Lister, Cat, Rimmer and Holly decided to throw Kryten a leaving party and give him one last night to remember.

Gunmen of the Apocalypse (s6e3): Starbug is attacked by a Simulant battleship and infected with a virus which overrides it's navicomp. Lister, Rimmer and Cat use the AR machine to enter Kryten's mind, which has taken the form of the Wild West, in order to fight the virus.

Mechocracy (s12e4): When all the machines on Red Dwarf go on strike, the boys compete in an election against each other to gain control of them.

In one of the episodes it turned out that the Atlantis crew only survived their first day on Atlantis because Dr. Weir in the bad timeline went back in time to when the previous habitants of Atlantis were still living and she spent 10000 years in stasis, coming out of it every 3300 years to preserve energy in the generators so when the current timeline Atlantis crew arrives the city's shield will keep the water out until the city comes to the surface from the bottom of the ocean.

The Cat: wears incredibly glamorous eyeshadow and eyeliner and is very fashion oriented. he has so many outfits that are incredibly “girly��� and he fucking rocks them

Arcee: She’s a very pretty pink and white coloration and when she first debuted, she has the softest and sweetest voice and motherly tone for one of the main characters; I just wanted to involve her I love her so much

Hattie Hayridge - (Red Dwarf, Lexx, Jonathan Creek) - I'm nominating her for her performance as Holly in comedy sci-fi "Red Dwarf" in the late 80s and early 90s. Holly is the title spaceship's computer, but Hattie's performance is extremely human. She's not there to be sexy, she just is, along with being scatty, well-meaning and just as likely to get the crew into trouble as out of it. Her swansong comes in an episode frequently voted the best ever where she saves the hallucinating crew from killing themselves. We see her versatility as she plays several different versions of her character, including an alternate version who's human and casually seduces a heroic pilot. And finally, she's just damn funny. The actress is also wonderful with fans, going out of her way to spend time with them at conventions even when she's not being paid. I've been on the same dancefloor as her so I know this from personal experience.

Shes badass and runs the whole space station because she pretty much is the space station. :)

Truly one of my fave character arcs of all time. Like. Her body is a space station but people can rip out her brain but she wants to kill people but she forgets how fragile human life is but she can find loopholes around any rule you give her but she LOVES her FRIENDS. I'm OBSESSED with her.

She is the AI running an entire space station orbiting around a red dwarf star. She's tried bypassing her programming to keep everyone on the station multiple times just to see if she could (and it ends up saving the day at one point). She also has been programmed with anxiety (basically a glitch that'll pop up that repeats the phrase "I can't do this. I'm not good enough") by her creator and she learns how to get around this. She's picked up sarcasm from one of her human shipmates, she died and came back, she is all around a 10/10. Sorry I just really love Hera

Welcome to Revenge of the Underrated!

Some of you asked me to put a "haven't watched both" to be more fair to the more unknown movies, but I've seen other tournaments doing this and I think it limits too much who can participate in the polls. So what I decided to do is a double elimination!

What does that mean? That means a movie has to lose twice to be eliminated. In other words, there will be a sorts of losers bracket that'll be part of main bracket. I'm undecided on whether to do this for only one round or the whole bracket, as it would make the tournament very long. Do let me know if you have any opinion about it.
