what objects did you put around the tub when you were bathing? i did this spell once long ago, and can vaguely remember what i included last time (an angel coin, my rose necklace, and i believe my purple turquoise ring, but it’s been so long that i could easily be wrong; i do remember reading the story of esther while i was in the tub because christian witch)

hey witchblr, do you or anyone you know are practicing mayan/aztec witchraft, or are indigenous/of indigenous descent for these parts of South America? and knowledgeable about Mayan culture, its pantheon and gods? because i’ve been hearing things about The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher (an urban fantasy story) and some apparently racist & problematic bullshit but since i’m neither a poc nor from SA, i’d like some of your opinions before i write this series off. i’ve been on the fence about reading it for a while but i’m not throwing money at someone whose perpetuating racist stereotype first introduced by the conquistadors. so yeah, hmu!

Glamour spell ideas?

I’ve been toying with the idea of a glamour spell, but in face mask form (as in skincare mask, not covid protection mask). 

I’ve seen the Goddess Glamour Bath Spell by @recreationalwitchcraft - which does look awesome - but I’m not aiming for quite that level of glamour! Basically, the next time I see my boyfriend it will the first time in just over 2 months, and I just want a bit of an extra glow... ya know, leave him a bit breathless ;)

Does anyone have any tried-and-tested spells you could point me in the direction of? Or suggestions for ingredients? One caveat - nothing with coconut oil, please. My skin is definitely not a fan!

So, witchy community: I've been wondering this for a few days, but no one on reddit will give me a real answer. How can we in the general occult community support practitioners of closed practices (Kabala, Hoodoo, Voodoo, etc)? I mean beyond not muscling our way into their belief systems and so on.

I mean, if we see a store dedicated to a specific practice and it has really cool stuff, is it alright to even go into that store (as long as we don't buy anything specific to their practice, like if we find generic occult stuff it would be ok to buy right?) Like, we want to support them, and we want them to survive (financially, emotionally, etc), but we don't want to over step.

Also, I and others like learning about other belief systems and practices, but it doesn't mean I plan to incorporate anything from those closed communities.

So, how do we support and interact with practitioners of closed communities without being rude or unethical?

I know jack-all about Overwatch, but I do know Junkrat and I love him, so I will be googling these skins.👀 I actually don't have a tag for my witchy stuff, except for my asks which is probably not wise considering how often that stuff comes across my dash. He's my favorite character tbh, he's so stupid it makes such an awesome character design. I wish I could find a snap of what the main screen looks like bc they animate him to look so dumb it's great.
