- Loki was known for being a trickster, and it's not uncommon to dislike him. he plays tricks, pranks, and is just over all annoying.

- He sure is aware of people's distaste for him and his little games, but it never did bother the man one little bit. Why should he care anyway? He was only in it for the fun, nothing else.

- that was how his mindset worked until he found a certain little mortal wandering out and about, making an offering to him. Now that? That REALLY sparked his interest.

- you wouldn't imagine that evil little grin of mischief on his face. I mean, he was never worshipped before, this was an entirely new feeling to him!

- Even knowing the horrible deeds he's done, or what type of person he is...you didn't care. You did your thing anyway, showing your respect to him. That little tint of hope on your face, completely determined to worship him...

- That was one hell of a turn on.

- He was so so so so soooo excited. overjoyed and overwhelmed with emotions, is this what respected gods get to experience? And HE, out of everyone, was missing out on the fun???

- After that day, the gods were always left with someone lacking in a meeting. Or perhaps, the room just wasn't as full of sly comments or remarks. It was eerily peaceful to say the least. But it's better than putting up with some green headed jerk, right?

- Loki on the other hand, would always be seen watching over you with lovestruck eyes. Sometimes going into the mortal realm and turning into little insects, spying on you.

- Mans was lovestruck as hell.

- Like forget playing pranks on people, he had a new form of entertainment. Probably giving little clues in your surroundings whenever you ask for signs that he was listening.

- he'd learn your name, and get incredibly upset whenever your attention was not on him. You were his worshipper, so you had too act like it, no arguments needed.

- I just imagine one time the gods are in a meeting, he'd randomly brag about his dear loyal worshipper, making comments like "oh, my dear beloved (y/n) also has a thing like that in the mortal world~" when Thor was literally in the middle of talking about a brutal slaughter that occured somewhere around the place. 💀

- it even weirds out the deities thinking about how much he knew about you.

Beelzebub

- now, beel here is different. He's been known to be evil itself, and all the works written about him is just all the brutal and horrible things he's done.

- He was also aware that many disliked him, but what could he do? He was rumoured to be Satan himself. it wasn't his fault, but all the fingers were pointing at him.

- then he found you, a very determined worshipper with sworn loyalty to him. You believed that he was innocent, and it wasn't his fault. Catching him off guard for once.

- that of course, made him feel a little nice inside. But he had to stop himself. You were just a pitiful mortal with hope, and hope doesn't last very long.

- it made him nervous. What if he repeated the same mistake he had committed before? What of he kills another innocent life who wanted nothing but to worship him?

- he'd try to send signals to you, a sign that you should stop. Trying to get you off his back. But you never did, you didn't care.

- it made him warm, and nice. For the first time in ages, he experienced a nice feeling. And now that he's more controlled with his emotions, he could atleast try. Maybe give it a little chance.

- he found out what your name was, and it brought him peace whenever that same name took up some space in his thoughts.

- Maybe here and there, he'll help you out a bit, Getting rid of those who've done wrong to you. Maybe even showing vulnerability in some occasions.

- and on very very rare occasions, he'd get a little jealous. A little jealous when you show care towards another. He actually did enjoy your love towards him, and had gotten used to it.

- even if he was cold and unapproachable, He had a little soft spot for you in his heart.

- He wanted to cherish this feeling, just for a little while.

Hermes

- mf literally goes around spying on people's private affairs. You know when Poseidon 'killed' adamas? Bro was literally eavesdropping, but got caught anyway. Not even afraid of admitting that he was a rotten scoundrel/cause for a few problems.

- that's why the gods keep an eye out for him, knowing that if word ever got out about anything, it may as well end in chaos.

- he's pretty chill, unless you try him. Finding out that he had a worshipper did quite amuse him in a way. Not to the point where he'd be like Loki..*cough*

- maybe a word would slip out of his mouth, a little "oh my.." possibly.

- I have a little headcanon that since he's pretty handsome, he has a few share of admirers. Maybe nymphs and so on. That's why a worshipper wouldn't really come off as too much of a surprise. I could be wrong.

- But all that aside, seeing your desication and loyalty to him was a nice feeling. especially since nowadays, there weren't many who bothered worshipping deities they couldn't even see. Some growing detached from their own beliefs, and giving up.

- The world is a big place, yet you were the one to catch his eye the most. And maybe he might've grown a little fond of you.

- in his spare time, he'd be composing beautiful melodies dedicated to you. Ehem, as a way of showing his appreciation of course. Don't have your mind wandering off any further than that.

- There were probably also deities out there who hated his guts, not that it mattered to him. He has no more interest in that. he was more busy and happy to give his attention towards you and your little beliefs.

- Maybe at night, you might hear the faint sound of a violin, a beautiful melody that puts you to sleep. Waking up to believe that it was just a dream..or so you thought.

- that's right, just close your eyes and let him take care of you.

Sure! I’ll try my best with it!! Also they accidentally put Poseidon but they meant Thor as I already did Poseidon in the first part.

Thor:

You two met through his cousin; Loki, who thought it would be fun to introduce his friend to his cousin to see how he would react as Loki wanted a reaction out of Thor as he’s always so stoic and quiet.

You try to play pranks on Thor like Loki suggested but Thor usually ignores you or pick you up like a cat and put you someplace else and walk away.

It makes Loki pout as Thor usually threatens him or bonk him on the head with his fist so seeing Thor not do something similar to that with you made him pout childishly though this also confirms that Thor does have a reaction to you like he’d hoped for so that’s more than enough as it would give him ammo to tease Thor more, which made you laugh at his thinking process.

You continue to hang around Thor more this time without Loki wanting a reaction as you yourself start to wonder what expression Thor could make and what gets him to make them.

So as the saying goes; curiosity kills the cat, and of course satisfaction brought it back as your results came out to a 100 percent success as you seem to have gotten him to react to some of the things you did and said.

One of the things you did and said was how you would end up having to go to another person to prank and bother as you’ve grown ‘bored ‘ of his no reaction, that got a reaction out of him, a jealous one, it was hard to tell but you were able to detect that it was indeed jealousy that he was displaying which meant your plan worked on getting his reaction.

You teased him once he quickly realized that you were only joking and was lying to him, he thought it would be best to shut you up before Loki heard and started teasing him as well by kissing you which indeed; thankfully to him, as it left you shocked that he did such a thing considering his personality resulted in him teasing you back on why you went quiet, you pouted at him for that before a grin popped back on your face with a chuckle.

Buddha:

You two met through Loki though he didn’t actually introduce you two to each other more like you found Buddha and introduced yourself to him.

Reason why is because you’ve heard so many rants from Loki about how he doesn’t like Buddha and you wanted to find out if it’s just Loki that doesn’t like him or if buddha is a jerk.

You come to find out that Buddha wasn’t a jerk but someone who is like an adolescent but still an adult or in this case a god.

You enjoyed his thoughts and presences, confirming with yourself that it was just Loki being Loki and such.

You two played pranks on each other and others and eat snacks together and did all kind of things.

You kept this a secret from Loki as you knew he would go on about how you were ‘cheating’ on him with Buddha and you didn’t want to deal with that right now which got a laugh out of Buddha when you told him about it.

You two flirt with each other to see who can get the other flustered and in a stuttering mess, Buddha wins almost all the time there was a few times you won but not as much as Buddha.

Jack:

You met jack by accident, you were just teleporting from to places randomly without any place in mind so you ended up in his room.

Jack was obviously surprised to see someone randomly appearing in his room you not so much by how you’ve done this while teleporting bored so it didn’t really phased you.

You decide to take a break from it and leave the normal way but jack stopped you to offer you some tea, you didn’t decline as this might bring you some entertainment and plus you were getting thirsty even if you’re a god and they don’t need human needs you still like to dabble in them.

You and jack talked about lots of things, like how you were friends with Loki and what that brings to the table and about gossip that you heard while being invisible and teleporting to and from places which got a laugh about what you heard from Jack and the prank’s you’ve done and have planned.

You told him about the book that was inspired by your pantheon called Alice in wonderland and even gave him a copy that you had gotten from the human world as it was a good and interesting read.

You two decided to stay in contact and have more of these maybe even invite a few guest to join the tea party once in a while though it’s usually just the two of you most of the time but you wouldn’t have it any other way as it’s fun talking with jack.

Jack also enjoys it as well as he can see the colors you’re making is genuine of how you’re feeling when you two talk and have tea parties.

Hermes:

You and Hermes get along as you both gossip about the latest rumor or what you’ve both heard from yourselves.

You two have tea parties with just yourselves as it’s most likely that whoever you invite is the very person you two were going to gossip about so you both didn’t bother.

You pop in on Hermes many times when he does his job as the messenger of the gods (correct me if I’m wrong on that 😅) and chat as he does so though you don’t talk when you both finally arrived to his destination to whoever he needed to give or receive a message to.

Hermes is always very intriguing about your powers and want to know all about them and what they can do.

You two flirt together with each other nonchalantly until either one of you is flustered but Hermes is always so smooth at it that it always leave you flustered.

You two also talk about the gossip in the human world when you go to visit the human world for fun, you of course convinced him a few times to come with you and hear all the gossips from random humans lives.

You also told him about how you have a book written in inspiration of your pantheon and gave him a copy to read for fun, that’s another thing you two do, you either get books from the human world or god world and have a book session making fun of some of the characters and just talking about it.

OOOOOHH! I got it! Thor, Hermes, Nikola, and Hades with a super busty s/o who has no idea somebody is, or at least trying to, flirting with or leering at her.

Personally, he likes her large chest, as he his a breast man. He does realize the issues with it, however.

He doesn’t like to cause a seen, but he doesn’t like it when other people stare at his s/o.

Usually, his hulking presence is enough to deter them when he’s by their side. But he knows he can’t be with them all the time.

Has some concerns about their friendly attitude leading men on and causing problems, but also has enough faith in them to defend themselves.

Appears calm but is furious inside.

Of course he knows that his s/o is gorgeous, and he finds it cute that they have no idea of their visual value. Everyone else is not so dumb.

Acting as a steward of the Gods, Hermes notice everything. Including the looks his s/o gets when she is just being herself and existing in physical splendor.

Makes a point to calmly and cooly come up to the perpetrators, and whisper in their ear the horrible, painful, soul crushing things that will happen to them if they keep staring at his angel.

As oblivious as she is.

His s/o’s physical attributes are the furthest thing from his opinion of attractiveness. The mind! Their mind is what sets his passion to fire.

He does, however, appreciate her symmetry. And will usually compliment that when someone tells him that his s/o is hot. With no guile on thinking that they might have ungentlemanly thoughts about them.

Has some physics questions on how they stay upright and has done some structural mathematics in his free time to figure it out.

Bold of them to stare so openly at an Elder Gods woman. Hades has to commend their bravery (or stupidity).

He’s not a fool. He knows that people like to look at beautiful things. Hence why museums are so popular.

After a while though, he can’t stand it. Like little pins on the back of his neck, and he can’t get mad at s/o if they are too sweet & innocent to notice.

Has killed a man over it before, but the worst perpetrator is his little brother. He’s had to have a talk with Zeus, that lech, on more than one occasion that put their sibling bond in jeopardy.

I love the fights as much as the next person but for me this is the heart of the series. Ignore the disproportionate amount of attention I gave to my favorite character in the end. No one has piqued his interest... until you came along. Who would have thought that Hermes would fall for a human? For such a weak and fragile creature?

What is it that makes him want to pursue you, anyway? Is it your wonderful smile? The way your eyes bright up whenever you talk to him? Or is it the excitement in your voice whenever you tell him about your interests? How you always run up to him when you spot him?

Whatever it is, you have made him fall for you. And not just a little, no, he is head over heels for you. You, a simple human, have captured his heart. But he won't complain. You make his life shine brighter. The world seems a little less dull with you by his side.

He can't stop looking at you. He can't stop touching you. His hand is always on your body, whether it may be on your shoulder, your back, your waist, your arm, your thigh. Knowing that you're safe with him makes him feel incredibly relieved. After all, you're a human. Humans get hurt more easily than Gods.

He makes sure to cherish every single moment he shares with you. He knows that humans don't live nearly as long as Gods do. But he pushes this thought out of his hand. And he will be with you no matter how busy his life may get.

Your head lies on his chest. You close your eyes and listen to the steady and calm beat of his heart. It soothes you, lulling you to sleep. His fingers run through your hair, making you feel drowsy.

You had been announced as the winner as your opponent shattered into green particles from behind you. And Heracles couldn’t be happier. He was crying during that match but he won’t admit it-

- But when he sees you returning to your tunnel with your Valkyrie partner helping you, he quickly makes his way towards the sick bay. Bet your ass he’s running because he wants to see you as soon as possible. And when he does, he’s immediately by your side as you get bandaged up. He knows he can’t really give you a hug since you’re really damn injured, but he can give you kisses-

- He will not hold back with them, guaranteed. While you’re getting bandaged up by a doctor, Heracles is gripping your hand, spilling how worried he was when you had gotten yourself injured. Though, hope shall never waver, because he was very fucking relieved when you had won. Even through the amount of time that had to be wasted just for you to get your edge-

• And right when you’re recovered, Heracles throws a good party for you- At that point he’s going to get drunk and he’ll spill everything. All his emotions, all his hugs, all his kisses, everything- Mans is vulnerable-

ℍ𝕖𝕣𝕞𝕖𝕤:

• The gentle smile filled with relief that makes it onto his face is immediately visible once he sees your opponent shatter into the pieces of green shards. And as Heimdall announces your victory, Hermes finally lets go of breath he had been holding for what seemed like forever.

- Now, Hermes finds it necessary to help you to the med bay. He has no care for people that try to stop him. Not when you’re most likely waiting for him while walking down the tunnel. And in the instant he greets you down that hall, Hermes has a firm grip on your hand, as well as a firm hug to your figure.

- He just can’t help it when he’s been so worried for you in that bout against a God. His worry soon starts to disappear when he sees you getting bandaged up. And due to his own work, he cannot stay there very long, but he will make sure to visit you when he can.

- By the time you’re recovered, Hermes is already waiting for you, having a few gifts ready for you for your win. Be prepared for cuddle sessions and gentle kisses to your forehead, because that is most of what Hermes will give you when he’s cuddling you in bed.

𝕆𝕕𝕚𝕟:

• Goodness. Good fucking goodness. Odin isn’t exactly cracking an expression at it, but he visibly lets go of his chair and tenses down. Instead of showing his relief in public, he keeps it inside until he’s in a private space with you.

- While he is not exactly the one to be emotional, even in private, he is still sensible enough to give you a few hugs, kisses, as well as a few words of congratulations for winning. It wasn’t on the side he wanted it to be on, but he’s still glad of your win, as well as your survival-

- Like Hermes, Odin is almost always busy, so he does have to go away after a small bit. Though, he will be sure to visit you at least once more while you’re in recovery. Without Huginn and Muginn, of course. Those crows do not know how to stay silent. Odin had to grab them by the throat to keep them from yelling out how he was with you in the hospital.

- Though, while you are done recovering, Odin can finally have the time he needs with you once he gets home. That’s where he’s most comfortable, and more capable of speaking. He will make sure you don’t get into any more situations that include fighting. He’ll deal with it himself.

You Die:

ℍ𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕝𝕖𝕤:

• He knew it was coming. He fucking knew it was coming. So why is he behaving like he wasn’t ready for your death? He feels somewhat numb, even if he can hear and feel himself starting to tear up. Your apology towards him as you start to shatter into green particles… It almost broke him down completely.

- Hearing the sneers and shouts of the Gods in the crowd didn’t make it any better. Not when they were insulting your name for daring to want to keep Humanity alive. At least… At least in his own battle, maybe he could join you, along with the fallen Humans and Gods just before.

- Now Heracles isn’t exactly the same for a few days, no matter how much he wants to be. Ares is concerned for him. It’s as if the literal Sun in the world had shut itself down. Though, Heracles knew that crying or moaning about it wouldn’t bring you back. So he had to be strong for his own side, and count on the memories he had before.

- While he is out of that depression phase, he’s more serious, and doesn’t seem to smile as much. The only thing he does smile at is the memories of you, or the things that remind him of you. Though, as soon as he remembers his goal, he goes right back to being serious. Ragnarok changed him for the worst.

ℍ𝕖𝕣𝕞𝕖𝕤:

• Utter silence from the man himself as he watches your wounds get the better of you, and allow your opponent to kill you. Those very same wounds make your body shatter into green particles, keeping Hermes in his fit of silence.

- His movements are completely still, and his eyes dully stare towards where you previously were. The cheers of the Gods for their handpicked fighter, as well as the yelling of disgust towards your name had Hermes washed in an emotion of something he hadn’t felt in a while.

Utter hatred.

- He supposed that this was your fate, though. You did go against the Gods just to fight for a race like Humanity. But even so, Hermes was still your significant other. And he still cared for you. He’s just glad that he made you as happy as you could be in your final moments with him.

- And within the walls of his own home, it feels empty without you to be by his side in bed. Alone once again, and Hermes has to get used to it. His silence is what he will treat almost everyone with, although he will still do the tasks he is assigned to do. The only thing on his mind is you, and will forever be kept that way for as long as he lived.

𝕆𝕕𝕚𝕟:

• Well, it was to be expected. And yet, Odin can’t help but have that gnawing pain at his own heart and soul. He can’t hear anything as he grips the arms of his chair until it breaks from his force. His silent glare is focused on the God that had made you shatter before his very eyes.

- Seeing how they had walked into the tunnel, victorious and happy at their own win… It made him sick. Especially when he saw the other Gods laughing and presumably yelling. He couldn’t hear them, but he knew what they were doing. They were making fun of you.

- He will make sure that they never make fun of you ever again with one deathly glare all aimed at them. Huginn and Muginn had flew off of his shoulders while the Gods quieted down. And with that, Odin had made his way out of the stadium, knowing fully well that he would never see you again.

- He kept himself stoic, and he kept himself normal. Though that nagging feeling never left his heart, so he chose to honor you in his own heart, keeping his feelings for you once again tucked away so he could stay normal. One more win for the Gods. Just a few more to go before the memories could be gone for one thousand more years.

Hey how are you? I was wondering if you could have some headcanons for Hermes, Poseidon, Apollo and Loki with a goddess of sadness. She is the tallest of all the goddesses there, measuring almost three meters, she always has a melancholic aura and a quite sensitive, solitary and serious personality but she is kind to the most intimate people in her circle. She adores humanity and used to have a human husband before he tragically died. She is one of the strongest goddesses, when she cries she makes her sadness infect others, making them cry too and feel her pain (it is based on blue diamond from Steven Universe but I don't know if you know her. You don't need to add any more her if she is not to your taste). I'm sorry if it was a bit long, in advance please and thank you!

Loki

- Loki and you are literally polar opposites. You both are so different, yet you both ended up being close to each other.

- he's very curious as to why you're so gloomy and emotional. But you are the goddess of sadness, you live up to your title. Literally.

- whenever he pulls pranks or Snickers at jokes, he's always looking towards you and pointing a finger at whoever was unlucky enough to be his target— thinking you'd instantly feel better.

- no, you actually got gloomier.

- but I think he'd take a liking to you. Opposites attract pretty well if I do say so myself. Atleast he has someone (not really) willing to listen to him.

- and about your height, I bet he'd use his floating ability to float towards your face, so he could talk to you more , and os that you don't have to bend down a little to hear him. And yes, he will ignore the fact that you are uncomfortable or not.

- he just yaps and talks about anything basically. Even if you are very quiet. you talk sometimes, only when you really feel like it.

- seeing how you can make people cry just because YOU are crying... its probably super amusing to him. Even if he's also there shedding tears.

-i bet he'd try to make you cry near the unbreakable ones like Thor, Poseidon, Odin, and so on. Just for the fun of it. A little experiment to make sure you're really that strong.

Apollo

- this guy is the perfect ladies man. He knows how to entertain you, he knows how to stop your thoughts from going elsewhere (or maybe stopping you from thinking about something sad. Or else everyone will get affected with your sadness plague.)

- even with your tall height, he still knows how to take care of you. He will find ways. Like when you visit his place, he will make sure you have enough room in the pool of water. He'd also dismiss the nymphs who are staring at your tall figure.

- he'd give you praises on your power, and how delightful it was to have such a goddess existing in the realm of divine beings. He'd serve you food and tea, ones that are extra big because of your size and height. Like I can imagine this man carrying a huge ass cup just for you to sip some tea or smth.

- I know you both gossip. He'd be whispering all the stuff he has to know on that day's tea, and you just quietly listen and softly giving your feedback. Y'all would do it in front of the other gods too lmao 😭😭

- your aura combined with his, it's a peculiar combo. But its certainly calming, with his personality and yours, it leaves a weird feeling in the room whenever you two are close.

- you both are pretty chill together tho.

- if you guys were in a relationship, he'd be so understanding and supportive of you. When you enter a battle, he'd probably be behind holding light sticks or something with that small smile he always has.

Poseidon

- now him. He likes your presence. Cus it reminds him a bit of hades. Not the crying part, but more of the calm demeanor you have. You are very soft spoken and it doesn't annoy him.

- you and hades are his only exceptions. Your aura is comforting in a way that soothes his nerves. He's also seen and even felt the sadness you've carried on your shoulders all those years after you beloved died, as well as the burden of other things.

- so he can quite understand you. It must really be difficult dealing with such feelings he learned that after he felt the pain you buried deep into your body when you cried.

- you both are also a peculiar duo combo. I just know most of the gods there ship you both. Loki was the one making the scenerios and fanfics (he's such an ass)

- Poseidon acts like he doesn't care, or is irritated. But in all reality, he doesn't seem to mind. He likes you a lot.

- he's pretty quick to slice someone who makes you cry. He just uses the excuse that he doesn't want to shed tears and all because showing weakness is weak af. But in reality he actually just doesn't want anyone fuckin w you.

- like imagine him saying that showing such weak emotions as a god is pathetic, before seeing you and quickly saying "unless it's completely necessary".

Incredibly patient. As the de facto god of time in his father’s demise, he has all the time in the world.

He doesn’t want to rush them. In fact, he enjoys the waiting.

Incredibly romantic in his heart. So will want to make the evening special. Candles, champagne, the works.

Hades also takes his time during the act. Wanting to remember and mark every moan, movement, and shutter; as well as not hurt them.

Patient, but because sex isn’t really a high priority for him.

Maybe it’s because he’s been by himself most of his eons (humans are awful and his siblings are insufferable) but Poseidon has never really seen the interest in physical contact.

He is honestly not that much more experienced than they are.

He tries to make an effort to be affectionate, mostly because he knows that’s what is expected, but not the best at it. Could only consider having sex with someone he’s in love with.

Though he’s stoic by nature, his sex drive is actually quite high.

Sex and sexuality are a critical part of his faiths culture, so it’s obviously bled into him as well. He hasn’t had a virgin lover in a long time.

The thought actually makes him a little worried. Thor knows he is big, and when he’s excited he has impulse control issues.

He’ll make every effort to try and be gentle. But he can’t make any promises.

Probably the sweetest of the bunch. But…it’s not the full altruism that Hades would have.

Hermes believes in the power of wooing someone. Giving a person affection and what they want; which may just be the butler in him.

He likes to satisfy his lover. So by the time they actually have sex they are ready and open for him.

He may be depicted as the fastest god in most renderings of him, but this is one thing he’s certainly not fast at.

Summary: Hermes has to watch you, his godly lover, die in front of his eyes

From the moment he saw your name on the participant list, Hermes has been on edge. He tried to hide it from everyone else. While most Gods missed the way he moved more stiffly, those like Zeus caught onto it. Of course, why wouldn't Hermes be so tensed up? His lover was going to participate in Ragnarok! It wasn't like he didn't trust you and your abilities. He knew that you were capable of defending yourself. But... a small, irrational part of his brain told him that this was not going to end well for both of you.

Hermes stood with Ares as Heimdall announced the next round of Ragnarok. Hermes masked his uneasiness with neutrality. He watched as Heimdall introduced you... and then your opponent. Hermes was confident that you could beat them. But this little annoying voice in his head kept on pestering him, telling him otherwise.

Hermes watched the fight commence. The tension was grinding on his nerves. He watched every single one of your movements, explaining your techniques and skills to Ares. Even the God of War could see how stiff Hermes was, but he found no words to comfort his brother.

You dodged your opponent's attacks with ease, but somehow, it got increasingly difficult for you to do so. Hermes had to watch as your opponent landed more and more attacks on your body – the body he always worshipped was now littered with injuries.

His eyebrows furrowed in terror as your strength faded away. No... it couldn't be. The Gods watched in horror as your opponent landed one final hit on you. You stood there, blood pooling out of your wounds. Your body collapsed to the ground... and then dissipated into thin air.

No... no, this had to be a nightmare. There was no way that a measly human being... killed you. No. This was a cruel prank that Loki was pulling on him. But a glance at the God of Mischief convinced him that this was real. It wasn't an illusion. You were gone. You were actually gone.

Hermes was frozen in place. His eyes were wide. He couldn't take his eyes off the arena. No. It couldn't be true. He pressed his lips together, biting back the tears that threatened to leak. He couldn't allow himself to mourn and grieve... not now. It got increasingly difficult for him to keep his composure. His hands were balled into fists, trembling ever so slightly.

He ignored what the other Gods said and left. He retreated to his private chambers. No one dared to follow him. Of course, everyone knew of your relationship. Therefore, they could figure out that Hermes was... not feeling well, to put it mildly. No one dared to disturb him.

Hermes felt pure, unadulterated hatred for the human that killed you. They took you away... brutally. Ragnarok was a mistake. The Gods should've exterminated them without giving them a chance. But... there was nothing he could do about it. You were gone... and you wouldn't come back.

For the first time in his entire existence, Hermes fell into despair.
