Hiya Dira, i'm here to learn about this cheesy ramen you've been eating every day!

since people have told me that they don't really know how to cook/or don't cook, I am here to save the day (@emmyrosee @arisaturn @reverie-starlight)

I am not the best cook, but I have some staples. Also I am absolutely loving the content of this really lovely creator on Youtube and Tiktok foodandfamily. Her content is in german, but maybe check her out? She's a DV survivor, single mother to three kids and won't let her past bring her down.

The cheesy Ramen Recipe is from her cookbook.

The original recipe:

100-200ml milk (you can mix it with water depending on how thick you want the sauce to be)

instant ramen

2 slices of meltable cheese

keep in mind that this is supposed to be as cheap as possible, because her topic is "broke meals".

You put the instant ramen, flavour and all, into the milk water mix. As soon as it's simmering, drop the cheese, don't forget to stirr.

As soon as the noodlees are soft, it's done.

I've started using oat milk (250ml) because I have it at home and whatever cheese I have lying around.

It's the best thing.

just imagining one of the doctors from arkham trying to get through to barton by calling an unprompted, sort of intervention-like therapy session even though he has been TOTALLY uncooperative even during the previous normal one's he's had with them and this doctor telling him something like ' you know, you can't just keep on fighting people who said something you don't like / did something you don't like towards you. you've got to communicate with them that you didn't like it ' while they're just staring at a barton who has like. the BIGGEST shiner on his face and dried blood underneath his nose from fighting someone that day is 💀 idk but for some reason, it's making me cackle JSJSJ he is so bad and for what reasonnn

so anyway fuck DC, i'm tired of the same-plot-different-shoes stories give me weelchair-bound Bruce Wayne in his 50s making a bat sanctuary in the Wayne Manor gardens and discreetly doing detective work while his kids run the errands, and his worst case is Joker that he meets by the end of story and Joker kisses him on the cheek and tells him "thank you for all your hard work," before he fuck offs again.

Okay I gotta just put this out there I don’t care. It is really tough finding a place for yourself in groups of people as an extremely white passing mixed race person especially when your family was ashamed of their culture and never taught you anything.

I feel stuck all of the time, I swear I’m just constantly seeking to belong in a group but none accept me. I see posts all of the time that are like “even if you weren’t raised in our culture but are from our race, yes including mixed race people, you are still one of us” but to me it’s just performative. I need to see that and feel that. I have been denied access to so many groups and clubs because I’m not black enough or not native enough. And I know that some people are like “why not just hang out with white people?” Because it’s not the same, I want to belong somewhere too, I still go through struggles, just not as many, but I’m outcast from white society as soon as they learn about me. The only other people that I can ever talk about this with are other mixed race people. I can barely talk about this with my siblings because both of them are obviously poc or mixed race…

This isn’t really to say anything about or to anyone, it’s just really frustrating feeling cast out from so many groups when it comes to talking about heritage and cultures. I have them!! I truly do but I can’t celebrate anything because I’m not “x” enough to belong, or I’m too much of “y”.

How did the dragon NOT see that coming a mile away? His great-granddaughter was the Queen of being an absolute menace at times — which impressed him at times. So, the second she handed Ao Lei the cook book, he could already sense that a scheme was cooking. And they hadn’t even baked anything yet either.

His eyes turning back to the recipe in question — which seemed to have originated in the west? It certainly wasn’t any recipe he was familiar with that was from their home that much was obvious. The combination of ingredients making him question who thought this would be ‘delicious’ in the first place. It sounded like something a drunk would make after coming home and just slapping something together without caring how it tasted.

“ — please tell me we’re not going to be trying that after we bake it.”

No way was he going to even try that, even with his dearest brother having baked it. Anything else the dragon prince made? He’d gobble down in a heartbeat without a second thought — but not the current monstrosity. That LOOKED like it would actually kill him.

And as much as he tested his immortality at times — he wasn’t about to do that here. Nope.

My (undiagnosed) autistic ass cannot handle the change in the Subway's dressings recipes

I went to ask for my usual sandwich and when I looked at the dressings they were a different color. The lady that was making my sandwich saw me freeze and said they changed the recipes and looked at me like I was a sopping wet rat
