Hyped because of the Disney reboot, but my gripe, aside from the usual concerns of a Ranger reboot, is the growth of the fandom
I know Power Rangers already has a cozy fandom space but my god if it gets biggerā¦hold my sanity down because Iāve seen how crazy people get in other spaces. Better not see no crazy people arriving and crying over ship discourse, sending death threats or any wild shit occurring. We are sane for the most part so lets keep it that wayšš¾

Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - "Mask of the Masked Rider"
Prince Dex of Edenoi was given the powers of the Masked Rider by his dying grandfather, King Lexian, following a devastating final assault on Edenoi's capital by the evil Count Dregon. With Edenoi's defenses crippled, Dregon set his sights on Earth. Dex soon followed, teaming up with the Power Rangers and forming a strong alliance with them, counting them as some of his first and closest friends.
Dex's past is riddled in tragedy, Edenoi having been under constant siege since before he was born. His planet made for an easy target, as most of the population were pacifists, save for the Masked Rider Warriors that stood guard against incursions. Sadly, they were all wiped out in Dregon's final attack, leaving only Dex and his Ectophase Activator as the last remnants of the Rider Warriors.
Around the Rangers, Dex says everything extremely deadpan, making it hard to tell whether or not he's joking, but he will soon clarify with an equally deadpan "That was a joke." or "Was that not funny?"
He comes into inadvertant conflict with Tommy as she starts to worry about him replacing her on the team, threatened by the "newer and cooler green guy". The two soon reconcile as Tommy apologises for projecting onto him, with Dex saying that, as someone who also had never had friends before now, it's understandable that she would be worried about losing them again.
#rotmmpr#power rangers#mmpr#masked rider#kamen rider#dex stewart#OKAY im glad i got this one out of my system#three guesses who i was thinking of while designing dex's civilian form lmaoo#dex is one of my fav bits of rise bc i think he's one of the most clever and dumb jokes i could think of that ALSO moves things forward#essentially he's a meta joke about people considering rider to be more ''mature'' than sentai or pr even though it has the same target demo#+ a purposeful and comedic over-correction on the original saban's masked rider since that show ended up being more of a sitcom than even p#while ALSO referencing the fact that kamen rider black got an adult-oriented reboot last year#plus i just thought ''mask of the masked rider'' was a silly subtitle for the mini-arc he'd appear in#his suit is also deliberately designed to be a lil more complex and ''modern superhero design'' than the rangers' suits#to contrast against them and match his like. different tone than them#but ye. he's very much tied into tommy's arc on the team where they both have the sort of. tendency to just say shit#that they think is completely normal. but is so deeply fucked up to everyone around them#obvs dex to a much more extreme degree since he's a victim of actual genocide lmao#and both he and tommy learn how to work in a team over the course of the masked rider arc#i also imagine tommy would have a lil dream sequence where she imagines dex replacing her as the green ranger#and he morphs into a form that looks kinda like kamen rider j or zo#i won't be designing the other masked rider warriors but just know. I AM AMAZON. would be canon.

What do you think the reboot theme will be?
I hope that season and the ones after it may be an Era or sorts, standalone seasons before crossovers happen again. Maybe something like
The reboot being japanese themes and folklore(just rumors I heard but I wouldn't mind that tbh)
Then the season after could be about ghosts and souls
And the season after that would be mythology
Idk if I'm making sense, you get where I'm going with this right?
Be like the post habro Era of sortsš¤
Note: Some people might not like my response... proceed with care~
Honestly Iām somewhat scared that its gonna be yet another MMPR rework. And that its possibly gonna be like riverdale or something. The dark grungy "moving away from tokusatsu" shit isn't... sitting right with me.
BUT I really like your idea. An era of sorts, with individual seasons that are unconnected and centred around folklore, mysticism, mythologies around the world. I think it can be REALLY FUCKIN FUN. Seeing people from these various worlds interact would be INSANE.
LIKE YES, YES I WANT SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Honestly, anything would be good if they move on from the MMPR nostalgia and stop shoving that in our faces, because while I agree, MMPR IS LOVELY, there are 20+ more seasons that deserve equal amount of LOVE and AFFECTION if not more. If they build up on THAT legacy, as a "post Hasbro" Era, I'd DIG IT.
There is honestly SO MUCH POTENTIAL for this entire thing, and Iām really curious to see how it goes. It'll also be okay/cool if it's something like the MMPR movie, but PLEASE do something different, something original. It's 2023 for god's sake, 1993 was too long ago >//< I'm sure even the older fans would like moving away from the MMPR and see new things, while still respecting and cherishing the legacy. What we need is a good and healthy blend~
THANKS FOR THE ASK!!!!
#I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the idea of mythological things like this#LIKE MYSTIC FORCE HAD TAKEN VARIOUS MYTHOLOGIES INTO IT#i was honestly so stunned seeing a GARUDA ZORD in a power rangers show when i was like. 12.#and. ithink a LOT of kids around the world would love it#BUT PLEASE keep the cheesy comedy#like you guys did in dino fury#dino fury was GOOD. it had its flaws#but by far#it was GOOD really good#Even beast morphers#Apart from the 'shoving MMPR down our throats' thing Hasbro gets what PR is about#this reboot... this moving away from toku thing is dangerous#like even the suits MAN YOU FUCKED UP HERE DO YOU KNOW THAT#and its not like they havent made amazing suits before????#REmember titanium ranger????#YOU CAN DO GOOD. you guys can KEEP the toku heritage too but just. just. please. PLEASE. stop with the mmpr and the zedd and the goldar and#ugh anyway#Power rangers#regaliasonata#ask

the only "reboot" of the power rangers series i wanna see EVER is a NEW, NORMAL ASS season featuring hitherto unknown actors and characters who don't acknowledge any Lore TM whatsoever (except MAYBE i could possibly give a pass to the words "morphin grid" being used ONE TIME or the casual mention of another ranger city).
i don't want any "once a ranger" stuff, i don't want any "power rangers hexagon" nonsense, and i DEFINITELY don't want a straightforward mmpr retelling or modernization (love u mmpr 2017, but we did that already).
just a REGULAR, silly, goofy super sentai localization with a teeny bit of flair and gratuitous puns. if you can't do that, put the tired, boring script down and step away from the distribution rights.

Boom comics rebooted the universe, altered history and they STILL just reuse the MMPR suits... they could have made brand new suits, powers, but NOPE gotta milk that nostalgia till the end of time!

... was her last name Crystal? I thought it was only implied canon that her first name was Trinidad or similar...
āThis is a terrible idea. I have plenty of terrible ideas, but they donāt usually get everybody around me dead. But Jason has special bad ideas, I guess.ā

If MMPR is to be rebooted for realsies, okay buuuuutā¦
ā¦I hope they go the Thunderbirds Are Go! route of a reboot where much of the originalās attributes are kept but retooled just enough to also be its own thing.
I also see the plot structure as this with 13 episodes per season:
Season 1: A gathering of the Zords across monster of the day shenanigans, the finale having the Megazord fully formed. The team is getting its groove together and may not always mesh but come together as symbolized by the giant robo.
-Rita chews up the scenery while reviving her old generals like Goldar. Perhaps... she insinuates herself as Angel Grove's new principal with her monsters created from the teenage stress of high school.
-Tommy is a secondary character who's Jason's martial arts rival and going steady with Kimberly.
Season 2: Green With Evil Extended Edition. Still monster of the day but with the evil Green Ranger replacing a previously destroyed Goldar as a major thorn in the team's side. Tommy has a Jeckyl/Hyde sort of relationship with the dark power in that he finds a rush in being the bad guy before the team helps him reject the power.
That's all I got so far.

I haven't been very active in the fandom for the past few years, and I haven't been following any of the cast on socials either. I don't keep up with any of them and honestly have no interest. Everything I learn about them atp is against my will. Even the reboot cast, although at least so far, they seem to be normal. Mind you, I'm not trying to throw shade at all the actors/actresses; I'm just saying idc enough about them to check in.
That being said, ASJ in particular has just been one letdown after another, and I'm not talking about petty shipping stuff. It's disappointing and unfortunate, also because when I think of the characters, I usually envision the actors, esp the MMPR cast. Even Amy's new comic uses the casts' likeness. So in that sense, I don't think I can ever separate the actors from the characters in my mind. Those are just their faces. However, personality-wise, they're completely different. And thank God for that.

Some days Iām a little too dramatic Geminiā¢ļø BUT I STAND BY THIS. Sorry it happened againā¦
Iām so sick of people acting like cutting the Jason x Kimberly kiss in Sabanās Power Rangers (2017) is some major feminist movement. Because most of the people that say that also say Tommy is going to show up and I canāt wait to see Jason and Trini be jealous once Kim falls for Tommy. Because guess what, they cut the kiss because Jason and Kim barely fuckinā knew each other. If you read the novelization after the flashback Jason does his stunt and gets into an accident then three weeks later the movie starts before detention.
Within the next few weeks (2-3) the teens become Rangers, train, form friendships and then save the world. The comic Aftermath hints heavily that Jason and Kim both have feelings for each other but donāt do anything because they still (BARELY FUCKING KNOW EACH OTHER!) So yeah Iām fine with them cutting the kiss to make the relationship MORE REALISTIC. Jason and Kim have more moments together throughout the whole movie over any other pairings BTW.
So if you support the deleted scene because it negates Jason x Kim solely to push up Kim x Tommy then you done fucked up. Because if Kim falls for Tommy in one movie then it falls into the troupe you āall hate.ā The āheteronormative girl falls for guy because he is super prettybad ass mantm.ā So stop acting all high and mighty while you also ship couples meeting and falling in love after less than18 days.
Plus weāre probably not getting a sequel because yāall slept on the movie proving to Hollywood that diversity doesnāt sell tickets. Canāt wait for more bald white guys to dominate the next wave of films because it will make the studios billions and you all complain about no diversity. You done fucked up. Did you see the movie five times like I did? I tried to support this movie so we could get more diverse movies, I fuckinā tried. IāM SO FUCKINā SALTY!

Season 2 Arc: Rita & Tommy Breakdown
ANOTHER STORY BREAKDOWN. WOO.
Most of RotMMPR's second season would focus on the Rangers' struggle against a resurfaced Rita Repulsa, now in possession of Tommy. A big motif, like with the rest of the series, would be Control over others vs. Freedom of Expression, especially in regards to Tommy's past and present contrasted with Rita's, as well as how that shapes their attitudes toward Individuality.
Leaving the full under the cut, but if you wanna take a read, please do! (it is... very long.)
Pre-series Background: Rita
Zedd, and by extension Rita, represent exertion of control over others and bending their wills to suit your own needs. Through manipulation, through coercion, through possession.
Rita's backstory involves her beginning life as a construct created from Zedd's seventh shard of the Zeo Crystal. Throughout the old war era with the Original Rangers, she takes several bodies, accumulating their abilities as time goes on and with each new body, growing stronger. During this time, she goes by the name Atir, an archaic word from the Eltarian language meaning "zero" or "empty". Initially this name is given to her by Zordon as a descriptor when she first appears on a battlefield, taking bodies from both armies and discarding them when they get too damaged, she claims it for herself as an act of spite.
Her longest sustained body was Bandora, a witch from an outer world who by far provided her the most abilities of any of her bodies. Bandora was a sweet older woman, who was able to maintain her consciousness within Atir's possession thanks to her own abilities. Over time, Bandora would wear Atir down, showing the shadow kindness despite her use of her body, exploiting and cultivating a need for self expression in it. Bandora would then exploit this need, using it to exorcise Atir from her body and help Zordon and the Power Rangers trap the shadow in an Eltarian urn. However, Bandora's advanced age and weakened form led to her death immediately following the exorcism.
The urn would be jettisoned and left on what would eventually become Earth's moon, with the crippled Power Rangers' spaceship crash landing in what would be the Mojave desert.
Atir would lay dormant in the urn for 10,000 years, until it is uncovered by one of the last Apollo missions in the early 70s and comes under ownership and study of Dr. Sean Finster, a xenobiologist and linguistics enthusiast. He translates the writing on the urn as "Rita Repulsa", unaware that he has translated it backwards, with the the text reading "Atir Asluper" in old Eltarian. A rough translation to English would be "Empty Vessel", the Eltarian equivalent of Earth's "This is not a place of honor" warnings placed near nuclear waste sites.
Atir, having had no life to latch onto or communicate with for 10,000 years, immediately started to feed off of the good doctor's insecurities, projecting thoughts into his head and manipulating him into eventually releasing her again to destroy the newly emerged Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
She takes possession of Tommy at this point, who had just moved to Angel Grove a few months prior and continued to have trouble fitting in.
Pre-series Background: Tommy
Tommy grew up an orphan, adrift either on the streets or the foster system. She'd not had an easy life and to an extent had grown used to moving around, never staying in one place for too long. When she was eventually adopted by Grace Oliver two years ago, she finally felt like she could stay somewhere and never have to leave again. But that only lasted just over a year before they had to leave Reefside and move to Angel Grove, due to Grace's new job that she could never be super clear or honest about to her daughter.
The dishonesty frustrated Tommy, which made it difficult for her to feel like she could really put down roots, start to make friends and build a life. She became friendly with a few of the other kids at school, like Zack and Curtis Taylor, and Richie Mendoza, even getting a little cozy with Kimberly Hart, but she never felt like she could open up to them, not really.
On the day Rita's shadow takes her body, she'd just been stood up by Kimberly after she finally worked up the courage to ask her out on a date (Kim got called away for Ranger business which would end up resulting in Rita's release, go figure). She feels isolated, bummed out and her anxiety gets to her hard. Which gives the shadow an opening to take hold and enter her mind.
Rita then uses Tommy's body to visit Dr. Finster in secret at his home and coerce him into using his knowledge of xenobiology and study of the Putty Patrollers to create monsters to attack Angel Grove and kill the Power Rangers so she can conquer the Earth unopposed. All this in the name of her Lord, the Dark Specter, Zedd. It's then she takes the name Rita Repulsa, once again claiming a name given to her for herself.
Green with Evil and Tommy's Struggle
Rita doesn't have full control at first, she's been dormant in the urn for 10,000 years and her power isn't at the fullest yet. She soon hears word of the missing Green Power Coin from Dr. Finster, who was present at the Rangers' first meeting with Zordon and Alpha V due to passing out during the devastating Rangers vs. Shadow Rita fight.
Rita decides that the best way to regain her previous strength would be to claim the missing Power Coin and use it to regenerate herself, at the cost of her host over time. Tommy remains unaware of her body being under Rita's control for a time, slowly becoming more and more agitated and unwell, as she gets little sleep while Rita claims her body almost every night. She starts becoming aware of it as Rita slowly takes more of a hold on her, pushing her to sabotage herself and her social life so she'll let go and surrender to Rita's control.
On the flipside, Rita also remains dormant in Tommy's mind as she goes about her day.
She makes up with Kimberly, going on a few dates that are actually successful, despite the Pink Ranger's duties and Tommy's increasing restlessness.
Grace opens up just a little bit, becoming worried for her daughter and not wanting her work to interfere more than it should with being there for her, as Tommy's struggling becomes all the more clear. She starts taking more time off to spend time with Tommy, inspired by Dr. Finster's own increased days off - not aware that he's spending that time creating monsters for the shadow inside her daughter.
Rita sows discord in Tommy's head, but she's able to ignore it for the most part. That is, until Rita claims the Green Power Coin in a battle with the Rangers, and her host's identity is revealed to them.
With Rita at full strength, in bursts, thanks to the Power Coin and her new Dark Green Ranger powers, Tommy now takes a backseat, a prisoner in her own head as Rita goes about her wreaking havoc as much as she is able to, whenever she wants to.
Tommy flip flops between wanting to keep herself afloat and wanting to just give up. She's already so far gone. Rita even attacks her mother, Tommy's face uncovered by her Dark Green helmet, frightening the closest thing she's ever had to family. Grace even manages to discharge a weapon at her assailant, making it hard for Tommy to picture anything else when thinking about her mother for a while.
Dr. Finster, growing weary of the shadow's manipulation and what she's made of him, sees Tommy's disheveled form in Rita's hideout in a rare moment of the shadow's absence and, realising her connection to Grace, appeals to her directly. He tells her of how Grace always wanted to make something of herself, but never truly could until she stopped doing it for other people, for their acceptance, or because they'd told her to. Be and act unapologetically as herself, on her own terms. He urges Tommy not to give up, to keep going for her own sake, anyone telling her different be damned. Including the shadow in her mind.
Rita hears this appeal, taking control for just a moment to push back against his words, but the seed in Tommy's mind had already been planted.
Rita, meanwhile, had found herself thinking about Bandora more and more, how she'd encouraged her individuality, to make decisions on her own terms and not because it was what Zedd had ordered of her. She'd also begun thinking about how she'd been depriving her hosts of that all this time, never considering what they may have wanted to do.
She comes to doubt her place in everything, in the Empire. After all, her master was defeated thousands of years ago, and yet here she is, still carrying out what she thinks would be his will, collecting what remained of him and sending her lackeys to do the same off-planet on the off-chance she could eventually restore his form and his Empire. Still acting on his behalf instead of her own.
The good Doctor's words further stirred these thoughts, perhaps leading to her outburst in opposition. He'd planted a seed in Tommy's head, and that's exactly where Rita lived. Despite these thoughts, she'd think herself too far gone. Nowhere to go now but down. And she'll take everyone and everything she can with her.
Conclusions
Rita launches what she considers her final assault, going all out and drawing all the energy she can from the Green Power Coin to destroy everything, essentially turning herself, and by extension Tommy, into a ticking time bomb. The Dragonzord blasts the city and surrounding areas, only barely fought off by the Rangers' newly formed Megazord, a sight Rita had not seen since her final battle with the previous team.
The Rangers' new Megazord overpowers the Dragonzord, leading to a ground battle where the team wear down the Dark Green Ranger, desperately appealing to their friend, to Tommy, to fight the shadow infecting her. They urge and encourage her self image, tell her to keep going, echoing many of the sentiments Finster had seeded already.
There's a short scene within a liminal space, between Rita and Tommy.
"Your friends seem set on taking you away from me."
"Yeah... They sure do." Tommy stands from her curled up position on the ground.
"Do you truly think you can just stop being mine?" Rita levels her staff at Tommy's throat, preparing to erase her completely.
Tommy shoves the staff away, fire in her eyes. "I've never been yours," she manifests the Dragon Saber in her hands, the weapon taking on a purified, more compact form, the Dragon Dagger. "Now get the hell out of my head!"
With the weapon plunged into Rita's proverbial heart, she is exorcised from Tommy's body, breaking the spell and freeing her.
A weakened, shadowed Rita watches from the rubble as the Rangers comfort their friend and take her back to the Command Center. Rita acts in desperation, mustering what little energy she'd already gathered to take control of Dr. Finster's body and put all the pieces of her Lord back together. She uses her remaining magic to revive what she can of Zedd, hoping for forgiveness for what she perceives as going against his wishes.
The shadow she revives is not whole, but it is enough of the Dark Specter to congratulate her on bringing him back, and in time he'll return to full strength. Now the two of them can continue what they started all those millennia ago-
"The two of us?" The Specter seems puzzled.
"Yes, we'll destroy this world together. Then conquer all that remains in this universe," the shadow responds, an old man's voice obviously unsteady. Whether it's the body she now inhabits, or a sign of her own insecurity, is unclear. "Won't we?"
"My dear, dear shadow. There is no 'we', I will be the one to control all. You will simply listen and follow my command. As you always have."
"No! I deserve to rule! All I've done, I've done for you! I deserve it!"
"Oh? Do you mean to defy me, shadow?"
Rita grits her teeth, glaring into the Specter. "My name is not 'shadow'. My name is Rita Repulsa, and you will listen to me!"
"Ah, so you do," The Specter sighs, "Pity. You were one of my favourites."
Without another word, the newly resurrected Zedd re-consumes the shadow he once created, replenishing his powers with hers and absorbing all the knowledge she'd gathered. Including knowledge of these new Power Rangers and the services Dr. Finster can provide.
While Tommy is rewarded and thrives by striving for her individuality and making her own choices; Rita has never had that and therefore has no clue what to do with it when she has it, which sends her into a panic - only truly coming to terms with it when confronted with having it taken away again, far too late.
That wouldn't be the last of Rita though, she'd make a reappearance in the finale to assist the Rangers by holding Zedd back from the inside, giving them an opening to end him once and for all.
A final act. A final choice that was truly her own, for herself, and for the ultimate good of others. It's not redemption, but she never wanted that.

The Murder of the Power Rangers: A Conspiracy
This post requires brief context of this one: https://www.tumblr.com/kanohimineka/729314732989874176/i-would-like-to-add-i-also-posted-this-to-my?source=share
I didn't want to reblog it, since this is more of its own thing, but whatever, read it anyways.
So, Cosmic Fury is now out, and it seems that our friend Simon has completely let loose. In a brief Twitter Space thingy, he took in questions from fans, where he would eventually answer them. Most of it was pretty innocuous, basic production stuff. However, there were a few moments of Hasbro heavily limiting what could be done with Cosmic Fury. The two biggest examples of this are the first two posts, with Hasbro being the ones to limit Cosmic Fury to a measly 10 episodes, despite Netflix being interested in more, the seeming circular production hell of Once and Always, and the fact that, for some reason, they only had 2 weeks to film the action footage. Of course, there is still some issues on the production's end, but they seem to have interest in continuing Power Rangers, that's just being stopped by Hasbro's Reboot plans, plans that have been in talks since 2019, Both Cosmic Fury and Dino Fury 2 being stopgaps. This fills into a continual issue that I briefly touched upon before. So, let's talk about the economics of the Power Rangers.
Power Rangers started as a massive success, a series designed on the cheap, basically only filming half a show's worth of generic sit com footage, licensing out some weird Japanese show, and ADRing your new actors over it is an extremely inexpensive production for the kind of action show it is, all things considered. Then, the series got massively popular, selling reprints of pre existing Japanese toys with some new branding, ensuring extreme profits for everyone involved, Toei, Bandai, and Saban. However, after some time, the series starts to slump in popularity, it happens to the best of us. However, Power Rangers, being, again, relatively inexpensive, and still having some cultural relevance, allowed it to stay in some form of existence for the past 30 years. It is a series that has been able to coast, staying financially viable, while still not being a gangbuster success. It persisted, giving a decent living to those around it, and allowing artists to create something fun.
It has been hot potatoed between multiple rights holders, who all eventually saw value in the way it was made. However, we jump to today. Now, Hasbro is cancelling that, as mentioned, moderate success to form a reboot of it, helmed by Jonathan Entwistle, a creator who seems like a decent fit, his two big breaks being focused on teens in small towns doing stuff, a decent fit for at least half of the Power Rangers Pipeline. It is yet to be seen how he will do in the more action heavy elements of Rangers, as again, most of his projects are smaller, but he at least seems interested, also working on some sort of Karate Kid reboot. However, it seems they want it to be bigger in scale. They want it to fit that Netflix Limited Series High Budget, Short Length structure, targeting a slightly more mature audience. However, a lot of this seems to come from one main desire. They want the Power Rangers that was there in the 90's
I don't just mean, "They Want MMPR!" though that is a symptom of this issue. What they really want is the size and growth that MMPR had back in the day. Therefore, they're going to pump their whole ass into this project, shifting it to be whatever would be seen as following the popular Hollywood trends. This, to me, is a secret side reason to hire Johnny E. He fits into that MCU Formula of hiring a relative unknown known for a few smaller, personal projects and getting them to make some big action blockbuster. And part of this is to reboot to MMPR. It is the recognizable iconography. It's the version of the Rangers my Grandma would know.
Now, it seems neat that Hasbro would want to invest into Rangers. However, they aren't really investing into what Rangers is. That has been going already, and it is only a moderate success. That's not enough. It needs to be a massive success. It needs to be the next big billion dollar hit. Which means, while they are risking the money, since they are a business, they will be trying to mitigate risk. Which, again, means they will be trying to make the safest choices possible. This means taking the old iconography, taking out the weird unique ideas and grafting on more conventional ideas. You know, making it like the MCU 5 years too late. This is an infinitely deep hole caused by the visualization of art as capital
Now, of course, most art, when made in capitalism, needs to be somewhat financially viable. This is more extreme in things like Power Rangers as they are toy vehicles, ways to sell other products, a practice heavily strengthened by the deregulation of children's television under the Reagan administration. A lot of what is going on with Rangers right now reads as the hyper extreme of this concept. At least before, Rangers was able to fit in that weird little corner of the toy shelf that had its own campy vibe, flowing with new ideas every year, staying viable through the Power Rangers brand. It is this perfect creative balance where new ideas can be forged while also staying to a single IP. Yes, Sentai footage limits this, but sticking to whatever weird ideas Toei makes forced the writers to push Power Rangers further. However, now, Hasbro is bucking away from the Sentai footage, not to be able to be more creative with the brand, but to be less creative. Bringing it to be the old Power Rangers, rather than anything new. That's why I am sceptical. And a lot of what has been discussed has only cemented that in my mind.
If anything, thanks to Simon Bennet for keeping with Rangers for so long, for making one last ride, even through Hasbro can suck. And thank you for liking my silly, pessimistic tweets. And godspeed to Johnny E, I hope you can make something good.
