And lets not forget how they brought Cora back just for her to bitch about Derek being a bad alpha, and to be a prop for Derek to give up his Alpha powers. Then she just leaves without a mention ever again. Like I understand that Adelaide Kane got her Reign pilot picked up, but I will never understand why shows will just forget about characters when the actor leaves. Like mention them in passing or something, y'know?

Or how they brought in Malia, a Hale cousin, yet the writers didn't think that Derek would be interested in getting to know her?

Or how they brought in another older female character to rape Derek again.

Honestly, I think Jeff Davis must have hated Derek. Derek already came with an uber tragic backstory. He was raped when he was a 15/16 year old minor by an older adult woman who then killed 10 members of his family and put another in a coma, only for his last remaining family member (besides Peter), Laura, who was also his Alpha, to be murdered. But then Jeff Davis not only has to make Derek a "bad alpha" but to also make it so he loses his new pack. And then it's revealed Derek's backstory is even more tragic, that he had to mercy kill his first love at the age of 15, and on top of that have an older woman rape him again. It's honestly disgusting. Derek never catches a break. If there was one werewolf who actually deserved to be a True Alpha, it was Derek. He gave up his Alpha powers to save a life. What did Scott do to become True Alpha? Break a line of mountain ash? Like don't make me laugh. Nope, JD was just desperate to cast Derek down, down, down because he was more popular than the main character.

Sometimes I have to sit down and sit with the overwhelming anger about all they took from Derek.

I don't even mean the Hale Fire and Laura.

He was an Alpha and he was slowly growing a pack. And the writers went "lol no" and killed Erica and forced Derek to kill Boyd and made Isaac join Scott and then they took his Alpha powers away too.

And then they gave Scott Alpha powers and just... took that from Derek.

The Hale Pack had been in that city for so long and they took that away, erased the Hale Pack by making it the McCall Pack, they took the last thing that Derek had left from him to give it to Scott, his territory and the title of pack of Beacon Hills.

And it's just so devastating that they didn't have to.

There could have been two packs. The Hale Pack and the McCall Pack could have coexisted, aiding each other. Heck, it would have added an interesting dynamic to the story.

But they just... kept taking everything away from Derek and sometimes, that thought wrecks me.

And that's why I'll never write beta Derek, that's why I cling onto the Hale Pack with everything I have, because Derek already lost everything else, he deserved to heal and to regain the Hale Pack, to build a future.

Aspec men deserve much more respect and recognition in the aspec community than they receive. They often face a different form of aphobia specific to them ("men are naturally sexual they can't be ace" "all men are unromantic that's not unique") this rhetoric is spouted by many, even members of our own community and I hope for a day where that is no longer the case. As an ace and demiro woman (demigirl but that's beside the point) I want to encourage folks to take the time to give the aspec men in their lives support and to the aspec men reading, you are who you say you are no matter what people say and you deserve the world. This is maybe the funniest (worst) radfem post I've come across in a while. It was a comment about cis women getting hysterectomies.

Do y'all know how many feminists have been fighting to be allowed to get hysterectomies without a) birthing (often multiple) children or b) a husband's permission? Including many people who have extremely painful and/or dangerous uterus-related conditions, like PCOS or menorrhagia? So many doctors HATE giving hysterectomies specifically because "you really should have kids first".

Also, cis men don't need to "remove their ballsack" to avoid having kids. They get vasectomies. An incredibly simple, routine procedure.

People who are getting hysterectomies are often doing so for reasons not solely related to pregnancy - if it were just about fertility, getting your tubes tied would suffice if you were averse to other forms of birth control. My mum did that after my sister was born, and then went back in for a hysterectomy a few years later because her periods were agonising. My aunty also had a hysto several years back, because not only were her periods agonising, but they would cause flare ups in some of her other conditions.

I just... how are you calling yourself a feminist while advocating for LESS bodily autonomy for women? How can you act like women are being stupid or reckless in their choice to get a hysto and not see the indescribable misogyny you're utilising?

Stop Falling for “New Techniques” And Just Use Your Mind. It's Not Hard.

Stop listening to people who are coming up with new techniques for you to get into the state of having what you want every thirty fucking seconds and use your damn mind. No matter what new techniques start trending on TikTok or YouTube, you either have your desire now or you “don’t”. 

How many times are you gonna fall for the “oh try this out to help you get your desires” bs that people come up with every few seconds. Stop being a b*tch and just decide you have what you want now. Regardless of whatever technique you use, it doesn't matter because the technique isn’t what “works”, YOU ARE. Reality is a mirror. Do I need to explain how mirrors work? 

If you decide to sit there and have a conversation with the ai version of your sp or you want a search engine to make you feel better about whether or not you have something, those things won’t help you. No matter what anybody says. No matter what long ass post or 30 minute video someone on YouTube makes about how to use the next best technique to get what you want. They don’t have the power. You are the power. You are the damn search engine. 

You are born with your desires. You are born with everything you “need” to manifest so why aren’t you acting like it? Why do you still need the 3d to prove to yourself you can manifest something???

You don’t find funny that people will constantly tell you to go to the “next best thing” rather than to just go within yourself to get the answer you are looking for? Using outside sources for motivation rather than giving it to yourself…. You don’t feel the least bit pathetic? You don’t feel the least bit ashamed handing your power away to something that wouldn’t even exist without you being aware of it??
