So, after the rabbit hole that was researching the Bejeweled post, I continued my journey wondering about gems in other media when an ad popped up on my phone for a Marvel x Pandora Collection. The Universe decided the next “Real Gems” research dive would be the Infinity Stones!  What Are the Infinity Stones? For those of you who aren’t as familiar with the Marvel Lore or the Infinity Stones…

"why should I get invested in shows if they'll just get canceled" I was deeply invested in Heroes (2006) and it was not canceled, it just got really terrible. I also got really invested in the sandwich I had a few weeks ago despite it only lasting like 15 minutes. You must embrace the ephemeral. Babysitting is great because the kids I babysit asked me if I like Minecraft and we talked about it and I ended up briefly explaining GeminiTay and these 6 and 9 year old boys now think this fantasy princess that hunts down her friends heads for fun is one of the top 15 coolest people

Rewatched “Scavenger’s Reign” and it gave me the urge to draw something in a way inspired by the beautiful landscapes in the series. I’m out of practice with environmental illustrations, but this was a very calming one to make.

Trees so tall their canopies are lost to the eye, but their seeds drift down in gentle light and land among stones jutting from the ground. Not many beings get to witness it.

absolutely loving the permitmaster episode, especially the melon task because of how everyone did it

joel got more and more panicked with each slice he ate and eventually started punching grian and cub to get them to want to punch him even though they were already punching him on request

cleo broke it and then it didn't drop as slices so they were being clever and assuming cub and grian had done something tricky while simultaneously being silly cause. silk touch axe. also "you can't see it therefore it doesn't exist. object permanence is a lie"

beef going all "ce n'est pas une pipe" and saying 'the melon's demolished its now melon slices?' and his very convenient lava

the sound effect in grian's pov for false loading after reading the task and then her deciding damaging herself to eat melon is more fun and therefore better than just throwing it away

joe shooting a rocket and saying "oh no it exploded" and committing to pretending the melon was gone

gem was having the time of her life this session. that snail was her DAUGHTER. it's so funny going from her pov where she's just baby talking her snail, giving her the run down of how things work... then you cut to skizz who is just screaming in terror every time his snail rounds a corner
