Guess who’s finally rereading Casting Rain. It’s been so long that I don’t remember much aside from the damn near paralyzing anxiety some of those scenes had lmao- you know a fic is good when it Literally Traumatizes You. Here’s a quick doodle of Casting Rain Grillby before I continue reading- I’m expecting to ugly sob multiple times 👍

Maybe it’s silly, but Casting Rain holds a special place in my heart, being the fic that got me super into Undertale, into Grillby/Gaster, the wartime ideas, and honestly sparked most of the creativity I have now. Galzra and his general story was originally based heavily around Casting Rain’s ideas (and somewhat still is, but it’s got it’s differences now). I don’t think he’d exist if I hadn’t read Casting Rain, so uh, thanks lol

So Jonny has a tag for TMA where if people don’t want their posts to be seen by him there’s a tag he has filtered/blocked

Cause for me I’m not phased with shipping or RPF of my persona, only NSFW and RPS makes me uncomfortable. I would like to implement a filter tag so I could freely enjoy my tumblr experience while other fans can still make works for fans without me seeing it. I get to live in peace and so do they.

It be pretty cool if that was more common but unsurprisingly mcytblr is quite sensitive about this topic. Only in the last few years have content creators been active here and tumblr fans aren’t great with change.

Do I see any current creators he using it? No. But if any want to make a public tumblr account worry they’ll see something they’re not comfortable with or fans don’t want the creator seeing their specific posts, do a Jonny Sims. Have a known filtered tag and go on with your chronically online lives.
